“Cloud-native APIs done right”
Pros
Running fully in the cloud is a big advantage since there's no need to maintain a large IT team just to handle infrastructure and security because the platform takes care of that. Another strong point is that it comes with SOAP and REST APIs built in which makes it much simpler to build integrations and connect with other products and services.
Cons
There's definitely a whole new vocabulary of programming terms to get used to before feeling comfortable with it. It can also feel overly complex even for tasks that aren't that complicated, mainly because of the huge number of options it provides.

“Useful tool but cluttered fields”
Pros
Having one central place for both project and client management is really valuable especially with the added background and history all in one spot. The platform is also helpful for collaborating with coworkers which matters even more when everyone is working remotely.
Cons
At the same time, it feels like there are almost too many features and fields and the lack of filtered views makes that harder to manage. Because of that, it can be confusing to tell which fields are meant for your input and which ones belong to other teams.

“Learning resources but costly limits”
Pros
There's a ton of educational material available and the user community is massive so you're never really on your own when trying to figure things out around Salesforce.
Cons
We ended up relying on a lot of trial and error and quite a few parts just didn't fit our specific use case. It's also very expensive to maintain. At my current company, it really hasn't worked out well for Sales. Between ongoing issues and permission-related problems, we kept trying to make it work but in the end the sales team moved away from it.

“Fully customizable CRM”
Pros
When it comes to sales tracking, this CRM really stands above the rest. There's no denying how powerful it is and it also gives you the flexibility to do almost anything with it. On top of that, it's completely customizable so it can be adapted to the needs of practically any company, no matter what kind of business model it has.
Cons
One of the biggest downsides is how complex the software can be. You really need a strong development team not only to get it up and running but also to keep making the most of it over the long term.

“Powerful and endlessly extensible”
Pros
There's a huge amount packed into it. It has countless layers, along with years of quirks and workarounds that can get pretty complex especially in Classic. Moving to or away from it isn't always simple but the platform is so flexible and customizable that, with enough time and effort, you can make just about anything happen. Reporting, object management and automation are all extremely powerful and well ahead of competing products.
Cons
Email management, along with certain design and reporting pieces, is fairly weak. While Pardot can still be a useful add-on, it lags far behind tools like ActiveCampaign or MailChimp. There are definitely times when I wish we had skipped Pardot altogether and just put in the extra effort to connect a stronger email marketing platform. Pardot especially its email builder, feels surprisingly outdated and is frustrating to work with.

“Source of truth for teams”
Pros
It's an incredibly powerful tool. All the data lives there, along with every formula and custom calculation and it delivers insights that other tools just can't match. It's basically the company's single source of truth.
Cons
The interface feels like it came straight out of the 1990s and if you're used to more modern CRM platforms, adjusting to it can definitely be frustrating.

“Consistent lead process”
Pros
One thing that has always stood out is how consistent it is in keeping lead management on track and giving everyone a shared language to work from. The Trailhead training hub is excellent as well and adds a lot of value. I've been using it since 2007 and even back then it was far better than the Daylight solution we had in place. Over the last 13 years, it has only continued to improve. Looking back, I really wish I had invested in it at the time.
Cons
At the same time, sales reps can be pretty restricted in what they're allowed to view, edit or import when it comes to data and leads. Part of that comes down to process. There are duplicate-checking options available through the software and through company-specific setups but reps can still end up feeling limited when it comes to visibility into who they should call, what leads are available and why something was closed out. How successful it is really depends on how well the data and processes are being managed. The platform gives you the framework but it's up to management to set it up properly and give their reps the right level of access and support.

“great contact and pipeline tool”
Pros
The contact and pipeline management in this product works really well and has been one of the most useful parts for me.

“Lead creation and filters”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how strong the lead creation feature is. It includes a huge number of useful fields that fit different kinds of businesses which makes it very flexible. Browsing through data is also very convenient because the filters work really well and cover a wide range of categories. The email automation has been working very well too, the only time we had any issues was during general IT maintenance so overall there's nothing serious to complain about. If you were familiar with the old interface, you can still use it while also enjoying the newer, lighter-looking version that you can switch to with just one click.
Cons
From time to time, the general IT maintenance can last quite a while and that can completely interrupt work for a period of time. There are also a lot of features in the system which may feel overwhelming for new users at first but once you spend some time learning it, the platform becomes satisfying to use.

“Customizable cloud hub”
Pros
Everything I need to help grow the business is built into this platform and it's very simple to use. I can track customers, sales activity and just about any part of the business from either my computer or my phone. Having all of that information stored securely in one cloud-based place makes things much more organized and convenient. The part I appreciate most about SFDC is how customizable it is since you can shape it around your own preferences and business processes to fit exactly what you need. I also really enjoy Trailhead because it puts a huge amount of useful knowledge in one place. SFDC feels secure, dependable, flexible and well organized. It gives a complete picture of the business, customers and opportunities, basically everything a company of any size needs to operate efficiently.
Cons
The only area that feels difficult to me is the programming and app-building side but that has more to do with my own lack of skill there than with the software itself. Aside from that, it's very user-friendly, highly customizable and reliable. The interface is one of the best I've used and even someone new to it should be able to get comfortable pretty quickly.

“simple UI and better visibility”
Pros
Right from the start, the interface felt simple and welcoming which made it simple for our Sales team to find their way around and actually make use of the platform. That was a big factor in getting strong internal adoption since a tool like this only works when sales actively uses it. On top of that, the built-in sales automation helped improve efficiency and gave us a clearer understanding of the pipeline.
Cons
Switching to any new software naturally comes with some disruption and that is especially true with a sales process tool like this. That said, I would not put that on the application itself. It is more a reflection of how important and business-critical the product's deliverables are.

“Frustrating, slow and hard to use”
Pros
About the only thing I can give it credit for is that it works with DocuSign. It also at least has a mobile app. Beyond that, unless you're doing very basic searches, it feels pretty much useless and I'd rather be using something else.
Cons
Honestly, it's terrible and always has been. I'm amazed someone became a billionaire from a product this bad. It's extremely slow and feels unstable, probably partly because of how sluggish it is. Reporting, search and activity reviews are awful for a salesperson. It's also very hard to use this software to backtrack through where you've been and handle follow-ups. There are too many critical menus hidden or buried inside the system. Scrolling in Chrome is unstable and I'm not even sure it works with any other browser. There are plenty of other things I dislike too but I don't have time to list them all.

“Best fit for venue teams”
Pros
After spending most of my career on the venue side and recently moving over to the vendor side, I've had the chance to see this software from both perspectives. In my last two roles, Director of Events at a country club from 2016 to 2018 and Sales Manager at a boutique hotel from 2018 to 2020, I was directly involved in implementing the latest version of delphi.fdc. At the country club, I did a deep comparison against several other standard event software platforms in the industry and this one stood out as the most aligned and all-inclusive option available. A lot of the tools don't really apply to my current vendor role but if I were still working at venues, I would absolutely be advocating for delphi.fdc as the strongest choice to help teams handle their day-to-day workload and stay ready for whatever unexpected challenges come up.
Cons
A few of the spin-off components still seem like they could use more development especially meeting matrix. The setup process also takes a long time and involves a lot of backlog cleanup to make sure any old data being transferred over is accurate and organized. On top of that, teams need to build better habits from the start so the new system stays clean and doesn't fall into the same issues over time.

“Simple UI with stronger sales flow”
Pros
Getting started with this CRM was easy because the interface is very simple and easy to understand. It also helps improve sales productivity. On top of that, leads can be qualified using BANT Qualification and then passed along to the sales manager without any hassle.
Cons

“Client communication tools”
Pros
This platform includes the features needed to keep business owners connected with their clients. It helps customers raise their issues, stay updated by the business and get faster responses from product owners. The analytics and other advanced tools also make it easier to track issues and identify the problems that clients report most often.
Cons
One downside is that it doesn't integrate very well with third-party software such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts and chat tools.

“Reporting built to scale”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages of this platform is how well it connects with third-party applications. It helps us generate detailed reports and gives useful insights that support stronger marketing strategies and a more structured sales process. It's dependable, scales with the business without adding too much complexity and works really well as a customer acquisition tool.
Cons
