There are times when getting around the system doesn't feel very easy to me. It also costs a bit more than some other platforms but the value still makes it worthwhile.

PCS seems like it has promising potential and gives us the impression that it could become a really solid system.

The execution falls short for what looks like software that could have been much better. There are a lot of small frustrations throughout the system that, if improved, could make this TMS a real game changer. It's missing broker-related features, there's no internal section for loads in dispatch and you can't view the dispatch screen the way the customer will see it. The dispatch manager feels average at best and not being able to multi-sort or even view all OTR loads for a specific day is a major limitation.

Everything is kept in one place, the system is easy to use and it connects nicely with the other software we already rely on.

Cons

Biggest issue is the customer support which has been very slow and frustrating to deal with. The training materials also could be a lot better.

The interface feels very user-friendly and once you get used to the shortcuts, you can complete tasks without even touching the mouse. The reports and overall data views are also very clear and simple to follow.

Only issue I've noticed is that if the application isn't closed properly, it keeps running in the background. When that happens, I have to end it through Task Manager before I can open the screen again.

Everything about it has been really good and it feels quite comfortable for my team to use.

The biggest strengths for me are the data storage, dispatch tools and accounting reports. Those parts work really well and cover the core tasks I need from the software.

From my experience the weakest aspect is the infrastructure and the software itself is not very user-friendly.

Their reporting and tracking tools are especially strong. Its reporting capabilities give us a clear view of what's happening and overall the system is simple to work with.

The difference between broker and carrier workflows can be confusing especially around dispatching versus brokering when identifying a carrier and driver.

The fleet-focused features make this software really useful. I can add equipment, create work orders and include pricing for both parts and labor. PCS also offers reliable storage for invoices, photos and reports which helps keep everything in one place. The "Unit" system is another strong point. I can set up a driver, truck, trailer and company, then simply click the one I need when it's time to assign it.

Cons

I guess the interface could put some people off especially if they are not already used to it. It feels a bit outdated. Still, in this line of business, functionality matters most and it gets the job done.

What I like most about it is that everything is very simple to work with and most features are very easy to understand and use.

Between the feature set and the price, this system has been a really strong fit. It gives me all the financial reporting I need to handle monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting without having to piece things together from different places.

Driver turnover is not handled well. When I need specific information on a driver, I sometimes have to reactivate that driver just to run certain reports and that part is something I really do not care for.

Integration was fairly easy and our team was fully trained within a few weeks. The system is user-friendly and having round-the-clock support has been a big plus.

One issue we've run into is that some of our remote users can't access the software because of the Wi-Fi connection they have.

Browsing the system is pretty easy and it includes a few innovative features that are genuinely helpful. One thing I really appreciate is being able to revise journal entries and even posted transactions before the month-end close which gives us a lot more flexibility.

Cons

Budget entry and variance analysis aren't available which is a noticeable gap. The unapplied cash feature also works in a very unusual way and the software doesn't really fit our specific niche of hauling dry bulk materials.

Initializing with the product is very simple. Also it comes with a lot of features that make our day-to-day work much easier.

It would help a lot if you offered more customer training so users can learn the system better and not have to reach out to customer support as often.
