Watch out for sticky search keys

Pros

Adding and updating accounts, as well as importing data to create invoices, is not a problem, all credit goes to AccuFund Accounting. I can even email them now which eliminates the need for stamps!

Cons

When I search and run reports, I find it less intuitive as the applied filters don't clear out automatically. If I'm not careful, it can lead to mistakes.

AccuFund Review

Pros

It is very simple and easy to learn, use and teach this software. It allows seamless changes to different account and user settings. Generating various reports to suit my needs is also easy, and I can even create personalized versions. My favorite feature is the ability to scan my own images for every type of entry and create detailed organization accounts.

Cons

I personally find the Dashboard in AccuFund a bit complex, but that could be because it's newer, and I haven't had much experience with it yet. Another small drawback is that I have to set up my scanner with AccuFund every day when I log in, instead of it remembering my scanner settings.

Powerful but could use some improvements

Pros

The drill-down features, along with the connectivity of cash receipts and banking, make managing banking and reconciliation a trouble free task.

Cons

Navigating the AP module can be difficult. Finding vendors can be a challenge, as you need to know the exact name. Also, once a check has been processed, you cannot change the posting account.

Satisfied Customer

Pros

As a Municipality using the Billing, Payroll and Accounts Payable Modules, we are highly satisfied with each of these modules. The software is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Cons

The program allows for creating reports that capture the desired information, but I wish the process of setting up custom reports was more user-friendly.

Great system for the Price

Pros

AccuFund Accounting software's ease of use and robust customization options tailored to our organization's needs are highly commendable.

Cons

Reports can be complicated, but after years of tweaking, you can make them work. Creating reports from scratch requires knowledge of the tables and how to navigate them. The backup hog-files can be large, so you need ample space to save them, but not in the same location where AccuFund is running.

Great Software

Pros

The payroll module is fantastic. Overall, I like the software's ease of use and simplicity.

Cons

There are a few design features I'm not fond of, such as the software restarting after being inactive for a short period of time and the ease of changing the database itself.

UWRC AccuFund Review

Pros

After several years of using AccuFund, we switched from QuickBooks due to its inability to handle Grants Management. I am extremely satisfied with the product, and our interaction with our AF consultant has been exceptional. He is truly the best!

Cons

The budgeting module is cumbersome to work with and seems to have several bugs. The module for employee time entry is necessary but too expensive for our organization.

accu fund

Pros

I find the software relatively easy to use, especially since I work with it every day. It has become second nature to me. I particularly enjoy the ability to access comprehensive information about an organization with just one click.

Cons

In the previous version, I was able to see which vendors were missing SSN, but that is no longer available. I would like the option to move purchase orders directly to "bills" without having to enter all the information again, but having the ability to enter an invoice number.

Product is good.

Pros

AccuFund Accouting software offers pretty impressive features and is fairly user friendly.

Cons

Exporting into Excel for budget purposes is not as simple as I expected, and there are times when support is lacking. It would be helpful to have someone available whenever I need assistance, especially when I'm in the middle of a project.

AccuFund Accounting Suite

Pros

Once the software is installed and you receive training on the modules, it becomes much more user-friendly. Training is a must.

Cons

Overall, the modules are not very user-friendly or intuitive. We still require assistance from a customer service representative to set up the reports we want to create.

Accufund Review

Pros

The importing feature is incredibly user-friendly. We use it for receipts and bank reconciliations.

Cons

Upgrades often create unexpected problems, and there are features that get added or changed without us being informed. Report writing is not user friendly, and bank reconciliation reports cannot be exported to Excel.

Accounting Software Conversion

Pros

The software offers remarkable flexibility. We have successfully programmed it to perform almost all the tasks we desired. Its real-time system and absence of batch processing have reduced our month-end close by 4 days. We can make more entries during the month, resulting in fewer entries at month-end. Additionally, we have significantly reduced our reliance on manual Excel spreadsheets outside of the software system. The reporting features are exceptionally powerful, eliminating the need for Excel spreadsheets in our board reporting process. At the end of the month, generating the board financial packet is as simple as pressing a button. It takes minutes instead of hours.

Cons

The Standard Reporting module is very powerful, but its complexity makes it challenging to learn. I've had to reach out to my consultant for assistance in creating reports. However, the reports they have generated for us have saved us hours of work that would have been spent gathering information from various sources.

PPWI AccuFund Accounting Suite Review July 2020

Pros

Our organization, PPWI, primarily uses two AccuFund modules: General and Accounts Payable. The standard features of these modules provide an effective and efficient framework for processing transactions. Moreover, the ability to customize using elective options like "Type" allows us to uniquely group and categorize organizations, transactions, and more according to our specific needs. The modules come with a comprehensive list of standard reports, which can be easily customized to meet our reporting requirements using the various filter options available.

Cons

As PPWI, we don't use AccuFund's ERP features or functionality. Instead, we rely on other applications for healthcare EPM EHR, fund raising and employee resource management (payroll). We widely use AccuFund's import/export features to support our batch processing of transactions.

Low-budget option

Pros

The system accurately keeps track of vacation, sick leave and other accumulations, updating them every pay period.

Cons

Filling in the time card is much more difficult than necessary. To input holiday/vacation/sick time, I have to delete the hours, enter "0," save the changes, select the appropriate type, enter the correct hours, and then save again. It involves too many steps for a simple task. Additionally, the time sheet layout is challenging to view on a computer screen without horizontal scrolling, which hides the categories. It's not mobile compatible.

Lots of features inside one application

Pros

AccuFund provides a powerful core system with essential accounting modules. It is also a cloud-based solution which allows us to access it from anywhere. The ability to export .csv format files and import Excel files adds to its versatility. The user interface is basic and simple, providing detailed information when needed.

Cons

The user interface is too basic, lacking user interactions, and has excessive features which makes it difficult for users to navigate and handle. It's not easy to adopt the system without proper guidance.
