Mobile app makes managing easier

Pros

As a Realtor who is always on the move, this mobile app makes managing things so much easier. Plus I love how the platform handles electronic signatures and how it shows whether someone has viewed a document but has not signed yet or has only partially signed it.

Cons

I wish the unsorted documents and the checklist were not kept in different locations. I mean it would be much more convenient if I could easily flip between them and view documents side by side without jumping around the app.

Terrible and unfriendly support

Pros

Honestly it is not particularly well organized and I find myself looking for the ability to create my own custom reports since the default reporting tools don't deliver the results I need.

Cons

Their customer support is terrible as staff are unfriendly and difficult to deal with. As they require at least thirty days notice to cancel and I had to play endless phone tag because cancelling by email isn't allowed which was extremely frustrating.

Maintains compliance and consistency

Pros

It helps maintain compliance and provides a consistent method for managing paperwork which improves agent accountability.

Cons

The software is overly complicated for the majority of our agents. So we have had to assign a part-time person to manually input transactions. Plus when a lead arrives, we are unable to tell whether it originated from MaxTech or BoldTrail, so we don't know if a referral fee should apply. To make matters worse, leads come from a DoNotReply address, so how are we supposed to report issues or provide feedback?

Outstanding support and good value

Pros

The support is simply outstanding and handling real estate transactions works really well. Plus the value is very good for what it offers once you get the hang of it.

Cons

It would be great to see more choices inside the drop down menus, since it took me a while to discover there were additional options. And I wish there was a way for me to reorder the forms.

Incredibly simple and user-friendly

Pros

For my real estate deals, this tool is incredibly simple to use. The workflow is also user-friendly and I like that I can jump between transactions without any hassle.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of anything I dislike about it as it is extremely user-friendly and there isn't any feature or change I would ask for

simply the worst tool

Pros

Honestly there is nothing I like about this program. It is far from user-friendly, pretty complex and an absolute pain in the ass to deal with every day.

Cons

This is the worst. I only use it because my brokerage mandates agents use it. ZipForms and DocuSign are vastly superior, far easier to use and more user friendly.

Love the easy navigation for agents

Pros

I love how easy BoldTrail Back Office is to navigate and how well it work for me. As a real estate agent, I have no patience for complicated tools. From the moment I sign in, my transactions are neatly organized, commission splits are calculated automatically and required fields are filled with my brokerage defaults. This saves me hours each week and reduces mistakes. The layout is also clean, user friendly and feels truly built for agents, not just accountants.

Cons

My biggest complaint is that when I make an error and need to fix something, I frequently have to rebuild the whole transaction from the ground up. I mean there is no simple undo or the ability to edit certain fields in place once they have been locked. Plus it drives me crazy when a tiny typo means retyping dozens of entries. And I would really like them to include a more forgiving edit mode or at minimum give a warning before data becomes locked.

All-in-one but lacks Spanish version

Pros

As a real estate advisor, I must say this system is very effective for the work we do. Overall it helps me as an all in one management platform.

Cons

What frustrates me is that I cannot use the platform in Spanish which causes many of us Latino agents to struggle with the language. I am also unable to upload contact phone numbers from countries like Colombia and other LATAM nations to send SMS or other messages and there is no way for me to send messages through WhatsApp.

Excellent functionality with lifesaver feature

Pros

We have found the overall functionality to be excellent. Plus the signature certification feature has really been a lifesaver and we mainly use it for truncation management.

Cons

The system is more expensive than other options and there is a significant shortage of training available. So I honestly do not know how to manage agents using this platform.

Well organized and simplifies transactions

Pros

It is very well organized and user-friendly. Also it is pretty simple to navigate and makes managing the entire flow of real estate transactions much easier for me.

Cons

I have not faced any problems. As the step by step tutorials are genuinely helpful and make it simple for me to locate everything I need, so I really have no complaints.

Easy storage, communication and distribution

Pros

The software makes it easy to store information, simplifies communication with the front office and provides a convenient way to distribute 1099s. But since my brokerage covered the subscription, I am not sure how cost-effective it is.

Cons

My CDA setup never functioned properly, so on every occasion I was about to finalize a transaction I had to ask a supervisor to enter the CDA for me.

Simple data entry, easy client use

Pros

It is simple to enter data and information. My clients also have an easy time using the system and understanding how to sign documents.

Cons

There really are not any drawbacks. As every part of the platform performs reliably, helping both me and my clients stay as efficient and effective as we can.

allows us to stay organized, unreliable auto-fill

Pros

What I really like is how all the paperwork is tied to a single file which can be organized neatly. Also it is good to have signed documents automatically land in the correct folder.

Cons

I have noticed that the automatic filling of signature fields and dates is really unreliable and putting together an offer now takes me twice the time compared to my previous system.

Helps broker stay organized and efficient

Pros

As the managing broker, I really like BoldTrail BackOffice. It consistently helps me stay organized with transactions, tasks and deadlines so our office operations run smoothly. The platform feels dependable and efficient and it very much simplifies managing multiple files without creating extra administrative headaches.

Cons

If there was one thing I'd change, it would be adding a way to search for specific documents so I don't have to scroll through long lists to find what I need. Beyond that single tweak, I am happy with the product as it's a great platform that genuinely supports our brokerage workflows.

Frustrated with many limitations

Pros

The option to email documents and include the email body directly into a transaction is something I really like. Plus I love that the message itself gets captured in the activity log and I can print it from there.

Cons

Honestly beyond that email feature, I cannot find anything I like about this program. As I need the option to create extra folders for documents that aren't part of the core contracts such as print ads, social media screenshots and other marketing copies. Also it would be helpful to attach more than one document to a single checklist placeholder. For example, a home inspection often includes an associated inspection response form. The buyer replies asking for repairs or another inspection, the seller responds on the same form and the buyer might reply again. Those back-and-forth iterations should all be retained. I mean brokers shouldn't have to create new placeholders for every loop or manually save and merge each iteration. Contacts are another pain point as I want to import them from our existing contact database instead of retyping everything by hand. I also constantly have to leave and re-enter windows to get documents to display properly. The interface should allow windows to scale down to half a screen or smaller while still showing all panels, so I can work with multiple windows open. There's also a mapping issue. As when an offer is loaded into a listing transaction, I am forced to change the list price to the offer amount so the Finance Commission shows correctly, because that field is tied to list price rather than offer price. If I add both a listing checklist and an offer checklist for a new listing that's under contract right away, I cannot tell which checklist a shared form will be assigned to when I split and assign forms. I could keep listing problems if I kept working through it but bottom line is that I seriously dislike almost every aspect of the system I have to use.

Pre-populated forms save time

Pros

My accounts stay neatly organized and I really like the pre-populated forms as they save me a lot of time. I also like that we can add information to an already signed document without losing signatures, since sometimes you do need to add details before passing it along.

Cons

I get frustrated that every time I log in, the site makes me check a remember me box and even then, if I close and reopen my browser a few seconds later, it does not actually keep me logged in. I mean I'd prefer to sign in once and stay logged in for a few weeks or ideally a month. Another missing feature is a better way to organize documents inside the system something like a checklist or sequence view. For example, when we have six counteroffers, I want to place the original offer first and then arrange each counteroffer in the order they were made, instead of hunting through the list to manually find and sort them.

User-friendly with excellent budget tracking

Pros

Brokermint's interface is incredibly user-friendly and I love how it tracks actual income as well as potential earnings to help with my budgeting.

Cons

Adding new documents is not easy. Plus I'd love a single button or tab where I could add just one file instead of being forced to create or upload a whole bundle of documents I don't actually need.

Likes checklists and stays on deadlines

Pros

I really like the checklists and libraries and I rely on the large amount of client and transaction information it stores. I also appreciate how it helps me stay on top of deadlines.

Cons

Sometimes the data entry process feels a bit difficult and locating the information I need can be hard too. It also makes managing multiple files for the same client more challenging than it should be.

offer outstanding customer service

Pros

Using it is not a problem and it provides multiple ways to sort my transactions. Their customer service is also outstanding and always willing to help. I also trust it to securely store my documents and I use it daily for my work.

Cons

I'd like the app to automatically compute commissions as soon as I input the purchase price and commission percentage, instead of doing it manually. It would also be great if there was a built-in option to calculate commission splits between parties.

Easy to use for tracking deals

Pros

It is easy to use and helps me keep track of my deals. I also like that I can view my annual goal broken down and see exactly how close I am to reaching it.

Cons

One area I'd like to see improve is the reporting as for now it feels a bit difficult to navigate. I would also love more options for generating reports so I can better track my deals and commissions.
