Terrible support, no replies

Pros

I really like the functionality the technology itself is excellent but top-notch tech means very little without reliable customer support.

Cons

Customer service is not good at all I often have to send multiple follow-ups before anyone replies. It's awful some of the worst support I have encountered.

Basic functions but reporting very disappointing

Pros

Basic functions are simple to use. The approval flow is reliable. I like the automatic commission setups.

Cons

I find the reporting to be extremely, extremely, extremely disappointing considering the volume of information entered into the system. The report UI and the way results are shown feel awkward and embarrassing to share with clients or colleagues. You can download data to an Excel workbook but every export requires complete manual formatting before it looks presentable. I simply don't have the time to clean up each report like that on a routine basis. I couldn't sustain reporting for more than about ten agents with this setup. The permissions for Brokers who Approve Documents are far too broad. We have multiple Brokers tasked with approving documents and they ought to only access the Brokers they are assigned to review. Currently, the reviewing brokers can view every file across the system. Also, the alerts sent to reviewing brokers aren't helpful when they're an all-or-nothing flood. There need to be additional permission tiers so these users' task lists remain accurate and uncluttered. That change would make calendar syncing useful as long as you could hide other people's transactions from an individual calendar. I would welcome a more cohesive way to converse with agents through comments. When commenting on a task needing attention, tagging users to notify them would help.

Extremely easy for agents of any level

Pros

As an agent, I find Brokermint extremely easy to use whether I am newer to the business or have years of experience. Their customer and technical support have been outstanding whenever I have needed help. I have tried other platforms in the past but I honestly feel nothing comes close to Brokermint. The modern interface is another highlight for me because it feels current and polished, not outdated like some alternatives.

Cons

There are not many downsides in my experience. However the main thing I'd like to see made simpler is working with third-party integrations. For example, billing parties outside of this tool can get a little confusing at first. That said after I spent some time learning the process it became user friendly and now it runs smoothly for me.

Upload, sign and email in one place

Pros

I really like being able to upload documents directly into the checklist it also includes a built-in e-signature tool and an integrated email feature for sending items.

Cons

What I'd really like to see added is an auto-split capability like Glide offers, along with a easy way to pull documents directly from the CAR zip forms library. On top of that having a shareable timeline view and a built-in contact list would make the system much more complete and convenient.

Keeps all documents organized

Pros

What I like is that it keeps all our documents organized.

Cons

The terminology doesn't match what we use in Texas and I am also forced to enter my name in the broker name field which is annoying.

Agents upload, i review and approve

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that agents can upload their documents by themselves, after which I review and approve them.

Cons

I feel the e-signature feature won't work for this area unless it's connected to dotloop.

User-friendly for quick uploads

Pros

The interface is user friendly which made it simple to upload documents quickly and to keep track of transactions throughout the year.

Cons

When it was just me using the software, the price felt steep and I never really got to make full use of its contact management features.

Combine several applications into one

Pros

What I like is that I can combine several applications into a single platform I no longer have to juggle so many different program logins.

Cons

I would be thrilled if it included an integrated CRM to help me attract new agents, because that feature would make it truly perfect.

All tools provided, interface is confusing

Pros

I have all the tools I need to track acquisition processes and to document them thoroughly.

Cons

User-friendly with useful reporting

Pros

Brokermint is very user friendly and it feels like they've covered nearly every possible need the reporting features are incredibly useful.

Cons

Documents in one place with excellent checks

Pros

All my documents are kept in one place and the checks and balances are excellent!

Cons

Unfortunately, I cannot upload RE forms or documents using the assistant which is frustrating.

Pipeline tool is biggest advantage

Pros

For our company, the pipeline tool has been the biggest advantage. Our agents really appreciate having a bird's-eye perspective on past, current and upcoming deals and it lets the brokerage estimate future revenue quickly which in turn helps us decide where to concentrate our marketing initiatives.

Cons

I have found the major drawback to be the accounting component which is still pretty immature and has produced numerous mistakes. Because it's handling financial data, we simply cannot accept the risk of transactions being logged or processed incorrectly accuracy in accounting is nonnegotiable for any business.

Transactions consolidated with great support

Pros

Our team really likes having all transactions consolidated in one spot as we can set up signings, pull production reports and handle much more from a single dashboard. What I personally like most is that it support is always available whenever we need help which is incredibly reassuring.

Cons

The only feature I wish we had is a free PDF filler that can be saved as a reusable template. Having that built in would shave off a huge amount of time and as a newly formed company we're trying hard to keep expenses as low as possible. It feels like a missing basic tool for teams watching their budget closely.

Provides daily accountability

Pros

It provides daily accountability between sales and my back office.

Cons

I have had trouble with the commission accounts section. My team runs multiple compensation plans and we've been partnered with BM for more than two years, yet it still feels clunky. I suspect there might be a simpler setup that fits our needs but no one has walked us through that kind of training or implementation. On top of that, the e-sign feature isn't helpful to us because Ohio-specific forms aren't available which creates extra manual work.

Simple creation and oversight

Pros

What I find most useful about it is how simple it makes creating, managing and overseeing every transaction along with all the various moving parts in the process

Cons

I still wish Brokermint offered a few more features while I am using it and the Boomtown integration specifically could use some noticeable improvements and polish overall

Amazing e-sign system

Pros

The e-sign system is amazing. And overall the system works well and the document library is an awesome feature which I really like too.

Cons

One thing I wish it had is more transaction types right now there are only listing and pending options and it should include offers and referrals as types. Reports are tough to get and feel very generic and basic. Also, there's no record of emails sent or any history during offer negotiations through the offer system.

Build and configure company forms

Pros

I like that I can set up contacts that stay saved inside the system permanently and I can build and configure our company forms. It also allows me to attach every form and deal to a transaction, plus run reports for 1099s and commission CDAs.

Cons

What annoys me is there's no offer status feature, reporting feels somewhat constrained and I struggle with the limited tools for creating referral or other non-standard deals needed to properly track 1099 income.

User-friendly e-signing and commission tool

Pros

We really like how user friendly the e-signing process is and we also value the commission tool's flexible features and customization options.

Cons

We've had many clients tell us the e-signature emails end up in their Gmail Junk or Promotions folder it would be great if we could send them from our own domain to avoid that.

Instant task delegation checklists

Pros

it lets us create a checklist for an entire transaction and then instantly delegate tasks to any team member right away.

Cons

Personally, I'd like the option to customize the front-facing colors so our team can tweak the visual look to better match our brand.
