Agents love it for simplicity

Pros

I am really impressed with how easy it is to use and our agents absolutely love it as they find it simple and efficient to work with every day.

Cons

Occasionally I notice it mixes up transaction owners and that can get confusing for me and cause delays for the team.

Incredible workflows for admins

Pros

From an admin standpoint we've found Brokermint incredible for our team. The workflows, checklists and calendar work extremely well for both agents and our admin staff who oversee transactions. It has also saved us a tremendous amount of time with the Dash integration by removing duplicated data and the same applies when importing sale and listing information directly from the MLS. Duplicate input consumes time and creates room for errors which hurts efficiency and Brokermint removed that obstacle.

Cons

Setup is a lengthy undertaking in my experience. Everyone should enter that phase with their eyes wide open. Building the workflows and checklists, uploading any custom forms and then designing interactive templates for them requires a lot of effort. You really need someone dedicated to manage that setup, otherwise you'll have a hard time getting the platform to perform well. Overall I think the forms module is strong but there are a few usability areas that could be improved. We migrated to Brokermint from Dotloop and while I still consider Brokermint's forms product superior overall, there are definitely some features our agents miss from Dotloop when it comes to document organization and preparing files for e-signature which has caused occasional friction.

Removes duplicate data entry

Pros

For our team, Brokermint removed the need to jot the same details in several places. Now we only put information into BM once and that alone frees up our staff's time. I also see it helping keep our agents responsible for submitting paperwork and managing their transaction records.

Cons

I find setting up commission plans to be fiddly and somewhat confusing. When there are certain kinds of post-split fees, I end up having to do those calculations outside the program, so the system doesn't fully generate commissions automatically.

Pipeline gives a clear business snapshot

Pros

The pipeline in this software to be excellent it gives me a fast, clear snapshot of my business. Because it integrates with DotLoop, the MLS and QuickBooks, managing day-to-day tasks has become much easier for me. On top of that, my customer support rep responds quickly whenever I need help.

Cons

When it comes to reporting, the app includes the standard reports but they feel somewhat limited I haven't found a way to create fully custom reports yet. I'd like to be able to build tailored reports to get more specific insights into my business.

All in one solution for a new brokerage

Pros

As a new brokerage two years ago, I explored a lot of platforms before settling on Brokermint and while no tool is flawless, it ticked almost all the boxes I needed. As it is an all in one solution handling forms and e-signatures, commission disbursements, support for multiple users and broker document review, among other features. For agents it is basically a one stop shop as it is easy and simple to navigate but still powerful and feature-rich.

Cons

I have found that new transactions can only be labeled as 'listings' or 'pendings' in the system. A lot of people, myself included, would like an 'offers' category too but we haven't been able to get that enhancement yet. Also, although there is a mobile app, it's fairly limited and doesn't offer the same depth of functionality as the desktop platform.

User-friendly with seamless sync

Pros

the interface is user friendly and I appreciate that it can sync seamlessly with other platforms such as BoomTown and QuickBooks.

Cons

While brokering files, it would be really helpful to have more navigation tools for instance, allowing me to pause on a document and inspect other sections of the file so I can determine whether what I am missing is actually irrelevant or simply located in another part of the file.

Visually shown pipeline is unique

Pros

What I really like is how our pipeline is shown visually that's a capability I haven't seen offered by any other broker back-office system.

Cons

I am frustrated that the mobile app is missing core, expected features for instance, I cannot view commissions tied to transactions through the app.

Comprehensive checklists for consistency

Pros

I rely on the comprehensive checklists to help me and my agents keep track of documents and each transaction's progress which makes it much easier for us to deliver consistent service to every client.

Cons

Unfortunately, I have been seeing numerous errors in agent commission splits and I often have to remove and then re-add an agent before the commission is finalized because the figures won't refresh properly.

Easy assignment and great e-signatures

Pros

Assigning documents is incredibly easy as it barely takes any time. The electronic signature feature ranks among the best I have used. I also really like how creating and editing checklists works. It is one of my favorite parts of the software. Handing files off to other users is both simple and secure and the CDAs are laid out clearly and are easy to read.

Cons

Because the left column stays fixed, having to scroll up to view the deal I am working on becomes annoying and slows me down. The dropdown checklists don't give me any way to rename items which is frustrating. Also, I struggled to get in touch with the company's accounting team when I needed help and that was difficult.

Runs ach and detailed checklists

Pros

I have been able to run ACH payments directly to agents. Plus the transaction checklists for agents are incredibly detailed and reliably thorough. Also the permission settings are useful for delegating tasks and the commission calculator is great for paying agents. There are also built-in forms and email templates which I also find great.

Cons

Onboarding is an absolute headache for me. Support responses can be hit-or-miss sometimes they're kind of 'meh,' and other times the team is fantastic. The forms are clunky and hard to work with, yet they do function. They're old-school, lack any rich text options and default to center justification which makes formatting awkward. Testing the onboarding flow is especially painful because there's no simple way to reset a test account and push new documents I have to ask the development team to do it and that process reliably takes at least three days. After I repeat the steps and discover another problem, I am back in the queue and waiting another multi-day stretch which becomes very frustrating. The absence of rich text is baffling the onboarding guides, checklist directions and email templates are all plain text only. I cannot use bullets, bold, underline, indentation, or change alignment, so readability suffers. Many of these shortcomings are about polish rather than core capability but despite the frustrations I still think the product's features are valuable.

Needs auto-refresh and better setup

Pros

Honestly there isn't much I can point to as a favorite feature because I feel several areas need improvement.

Cons

I wish BM could refresh itself automatically instead of me having to force updates. I also want the original checklist to remain intact new tasks should be deletable if needed but the base checklist shouldn't be erased. Getting help to set up commission plans has been painfully slow and overly complicated a ten-year-old with basic math could handle this, yet I am left confused and wasting time. The most annoying thing for me is the activity sheet I would gladly see it removed. If they added time stamps to signatures, that would encourage proper use and cut down on extra steps. Nobody on my team wants more paperwork and the persistent pop-up box that sits on top while I am editing or e-signing is completely unnecessary and gets in the way. As an admin, it would be hugely helpful if a transaction didn't just vanish after I finish reviewing it there should be a confirmation pop-up asking if I need to make any other changes so I don't have to hunt for the transaction to close it out. Finally, there must be a way to reset during document review in case an admin accidentally approves something that shouldn't have been approved. Overall, these fixes would save time and reduce a lot of frustration for users and admins alike.

All-in-one claim, setup nightmare

Pros

One thing I come to know is that it claims to be an all-in-one solution for running a brokerage, addressing nearly every operational area.

Cons

Setup proved to be an absolute nightmare for me the system is confusing to grasp, making it really hard to teach myself every feature and I often encountered very limited support with lengthy wait times.

My main frustration is exporting reports to Excel I wish they arrived as a properly formatted document because I hate having to reformat every Excel sheet I print for agents please fix this and the back office program would be perfect.
