Pros

My favorite aspect of this platform is how intuitive and convenient it makes the entire process of managing expenses. With its receipt scanning feature, I can simply snap photos of my receipts and avoid the hassle of dealing with paperwork and manually entering details.

Cons

Cons

Expensepoint: the most value-adding, and easy to implement expense reporting system I've ever seen!

Pros

The receipt wallet and receipt scanning feature are universally loved by all employees. Being able to simply upload pictures and return to find almost completed expense reports, requiring just a few clicks to submit, has revolutionized how we manage expenses, whether on the road or purchasing on behalf of the company. In Accounting, we value how easy it is to review, approve, integrate with QuickBooks, and reimburse, all within ExpensePoint. The integration that automates reimbursements has saved our accounting team countless hours previously spent reconciling, recording, and processing payments via AP. Now, issuing payments takes less than a minute, it's simply fantastic!

Cons

We encountered a few issues entering banking information for reimbursements, but the implementation team manually made adjustments and guided us through.

Pros

The ability to export data to CSV format and seamlessly import it into my accounting software is an invaluable feature that enhances the overall efficiency of managing financial records.

Cons

The billable portion doesn't function properly for me. Also, I'm not fond of how GST is separated from the line items and entered as a separate line. I'd prefer each line to indicate "G" for GST or "E" for exempt.

What I really like about the software is how user-friendly and comprehensive it is, it streamlines everything just the way you'd expect from such software. The customer support is also outstanding; they're responsive, knowledgeable, and always go the extra mile to ensure a great experience with ExpensePoint. They don't just answer my questions; they also suggest features based on our conversations. That's exactly what you want in a company!

Cons

This isn't so much about ExpensePoint as it is about certain major credit cards. We initially used Capital One Spark Miles CC, but found they don't support VCF Feed or work with authorized users via Plaid integration. This caused significant delays in our implementation. After contacting ExpensePoint support, they provided examples of credit cards with VCF feed support and better integration options, which was helpful. It would have been even better if our sales or implementation team had asked about this upfront, saving us about two months of delays.
