“In-memory, Excel-like interface”
Pros
For me it delivers in-memory performance, includes a ETL integrator and feels very Excel-like in its interface.
Cons
I find that the product lacks the capability to carry out complex batch calculation processes at run-time. that whole concept appears to be missing.

Setting up the security was complicated and I ran into issues when trying to configure the SSL certificates.

“accelerates solution development”
Pros
In our experience with Jedox, we've found it to be an agile, high-performance platform that accelerates our solution development. We rely on Jedox as the primary technology for integrating with Qlik.
Cons
I cannot really pinpoint many weaknesses. it's hard to find areas needing improvement. One addition that would be useful is a macro debugger as perhaps that'll appear in a future release.

“Strong scalability for developers”
Pros
In my experience the development performance, drill-through functionality and the platform's capabilities and scalability for developers are quite strong.
Cons
I was disappointed to learn that Jedox is no longer open source and I have noticed that some bugs take much longer to get fixed than I'd expect.

“Clear upgrades, features keep working”
Pros
I appreciate that the software is truly customer-focused. Because upgrade cycles are clear, I always know when the next upgrade will arrive. After updates, my existing features consistently continued to work and most new capabilities came with a reliable partner documentation. The knowledge base also stays current.
Cons
For me access to past updates is nearly impossible. No HotFix administration exists and support provides only very limited help there.

“Mature, well-maintained product”
Pros
The software is relatively easy to use. Overall it's a mature, well-maintained and supported product that offers some uniquely combined features and, when integrated correctly, brings together several capabilities that I rely on for Accounting, Controlling, Planning, Reporting and Management.
Cons
I don't have major complaints other than an occasional bug in the presentation layer and I sometimes notice slow performance when aggregating and working with very large datasets.

“only require basic Excel skills”
Pros
Setting up a workflow to gather input from multiple users and then consolidate everything into a central location is pretty easy. I only needed basic Excel skills to build the reports.
Cons
I am frustrated there's no Docker support and I cannot split the software into independent processes which limits how I can deploy and scale it.

“Great functionality. Super flexible ”
Pros
It is super easy to use for people who have been excel users because of its resemblance with excel and options for planning, analysis and reporting in excel via add-in as well as in an excel-like web interface with similar functions. The ETL process is figurative and easy to track the different steps.
Cons
Wish they offered a drag&drop feature.

“Basic license bundles connectors”
Pros
I am impressed by how much comes bundled with the basic license as from integration connectors to mobile reporting features. I also appreciate the option to use prebuilt model templates or build my own solutions from the ground up which I have found really convincing. In our setup, it fits operational requirements perfectly.
Cons
Sometimes I find the fine-grained configuration a bit hard to navigate and it is not always user friendly. Fortunately, I can usually track down helpful explanations and guides on the vendor's website when I need clarification.

“quite an affordable tool”
Pros
The thing I like is that I can collaborate closely with Jedox, their support responds quickly when I need help, there's a feature-voting process, the platform is easy for me to use and it's affordable for mid-sized companies.
Cons
One thing I have noticed is that the newest releases often feel like they haven't been tested enough before deployment.

“Great accessibility and integrations”
Pros
It adapts ideally to the requirements of everyday data collection and reporting. The flexibility of working with models as templates or with your own design from scratch is also convincing.
Cons

“good usability”
Pros
Non-IT users can conveniently design their reports with little to no training. Jedox provides an integrated solution with ETL, database and reporting part which brings a wide variety of predefined functions.
Cons
Data entering is not as straight forward as expected (excel-like). You have to use in consolidated elements and the provided wizard is not always functioning.
