“Direct SAP and active development”
Pros
I appreciate its direct SAP connectivity. Also the interface is user friendly and easy to use and I like that the platform is under active development.
Cons
In my experience there are stability problems as meaningless error messages appear in the integrator and sometimes even in simple reports. On our server, Jedox is made up of four services and the MOLAP service causes problems frequently in our test system although this doesn't occur in production.

“Manage myself, help when needed”
Pros
I really appreciate that I can manage everything by myself and still have the option to get help whenever issues pop up which makes the whole experience flexible and reassuring.
Cons
We went through a rough transition to the cloud that caused some headaches initially but it has since settled down and is now running reliably.

“Turn Excel templates to web”
Pros
Between its input screens, reporting tools, in-memory multidimensional database and built-in ETL, I have everything I need to build my reports. I can even turn any Excel report template into a Jedox web report as colors, margins, column and row layout get converted automatically. The ETL is really handy and it's fast for loading and viewing data.
Cons
I do find the selection for advanced charts and dashboard layouts a bit limited which impacts how polished my visualizations can be. Mobile views are also constrained as while they're being worked on, I know it's a tough problem for any platform not just Jedox to display tabular data cleanly on small screens.

“Quick wins, link data cubes”
Pros
What I appreciate is that I can structure data in consistent formats and enrich it easily. I had quick initial wins building reports, could link data cubes and create ad-hoc reports. I also like that loading dimensions and manually creating them can both be used without excluding each other.
Cons
I found the licensing quite expensive upfront when you only need a handful of users. it feels steep. Also without a consultant I had trouble getting it working although outside expertise did add useful perspective. Conditional formatting can be unreliable and reports only allow two dynamic ranges as having three would be much more practical.

“Works like Excel”
Pros
Fedox is really simple to handle because it works much like Excel. We can build attractive interactive reports without deep IT skills. Setup took little time.
Cons
I see only a few small points that could be improved e.g. drill-through to show details but nothing important.

“Build reports without coding”
Pros
I really appreciate how user-friendly it is thanks to an Excel-style interface that lets me and other business users build our own reports without any coding. I can assemble data models easily and it offers a powerful ETL engine plus powerful planning and forecasting capabilities such as splashing.
Cons
From my experience the visualization options are fairly limited and the workflow module is geared toward basic approval steps. When I try to set up tailored, multi-stage approval processes, things can quickly get complicated.

“Regular updates, exceptional support”
Pros
One thing I have noticed is that the software gets regular updates and its feature set keeps expanding while still retaining many of the older capabilities. I don't have to constantly revise or maintain my model although I enjoy tinkering with it. Even without hiring consultants, I can find tons of helpful material in the knowledge base. The support team offers exceptional service.
Cons
Lately I get the impression that on-premise editions are being phased out gradually. At the moment I am not keen on cloud-only versions.

“Accessible to everyday users”
Pros
Jedox is really easy to use. It's accessible not just for administrators and report developers but for everyday users as well. For me it simplifies collecting all the relevant data and even without strong IT skills, I can produce excellent content.
Cons
When my business scenarios grow more complicated, I find Jedox's charting difficult to work with. In those situations I often have to come up with a workaround to get my visuals and reports to show exactly what I need.

“Fast simulations!”
Pros
For me it's really easy to use and lets me run fast simulations and calculations without needing the IT department, accessible through a browser or Excel and offering self-service BI.
Cons
I get frustrated by the frequent, rapid changes to the PowerBI connections as both to and from the system as and it's often unclear if the link is actually active or how it functions. Also when we migrated to SaaS, our concurrent user model stopped working.

“Rules functions powerful”
Pros
Being able to enter data manually and the flexibility when building data cubes are great. Also the RULES functions are especially powerful and useful.
Cons
