“Finance uses without it”
Pros
It is very easy for someone in finance to use without needing IT help all the time. I can also connect different systems on my own and download data in Excel or CSV for quick reports. The Excel add-in makes everything even more convenient.
Cons
I have noticed that running it on-premises makes staying current difficult because updates arrive quarterly. in my experience using the cloud seems much simpler to keep up to date.

“Everything in one place”
Pros
One thing I really like is being able to keep everything in a single place. I can switch between different views and dashboards which makes my workflow much smoother and easier once everything is organized and settled.
Cons
I handle a huge amount of information so I wish the software were quicker and supported keyboard shortcuts like Excel. I get frustrated that those fast commands aren't available to speed up my work.

Because it connects to Excel through a plugin, I find it really easy to use. our users pick up the system quickly and I appreciate the competitive pricing.

“Database and bi combined”
Pros
Jedox is a unique tool because it combines both a database and a BI platform in one. What stands out is how it connects to many different databases and lets you build internal structures that can handle any business rule across the company. Also it is easy to set up like no programming experience needed. Adding elements and attributes feels secure and simple too and cube rules help enforce business rules cleanly. I also like that data updates happen in real time so everything stays current. Building custom reports is surprisingly easy and the Excel integration makes it even more accessible. There are even features I have not seen elsewhere like dynarange, variable filters and filter rules that make reporting very flexible. Since it can pull data from many sources and turn it into custom tables and charts, it really works as a full BI tool. It also works well with tools like Power BI and even non-experts can query data from Excel. Overall I find its value truly impressive.
Cons
For improvements, I'd like more helpful hints or instructions while building forms and reports so I do not have to keep switching to the modeler to understand what I am doing. I'd also like charts that are not tied to a specific cell so I can interact with them directly like the Palo function making visual analysis smoother and more user friendly.

“Saas with dashboards and tables”
Pros
I am using the SaaS platform and it gives me both dashboard visualizations and tabular reporting capabilities.
Cons
We do see updates frequently and at times the system requires additional memory although that was caused by our own internal data setup.

“Powerful, minutes to create reports”
Pros
This software is very powerful but still surprisingly easy to use. I also really enjoy how it works with Excel as I can create new reports in just minutes. Whether I am in Excel or on the web, I always see the same up to date data and I can enter or edit info from either place, depending on my access. I even like that I can start with a small setup and easily grow it over time, even while it's running. Plus I was able to build new tools and databases on my own, with very little help from consultants.
Cons
Adding workflows to my custom reports and apps can be harder than it should be. If I use the built-in models, it is simple but getting those workflows to work with my own data takes extra work. I'd also really like a plugin that lets me plot sales figures on a map that kind of visual would be very helpful for our analysis.

“we able to learn it quickly”
Pros
Jedox is very user-friendly and has helped us depend less on IT. Implementation was easy and new users pick it up quickly because the interface is simple to use.
Cons
I feel the main shortcoming with Jedox is the limited availability of in-depth training materials and written manuals for advanced report design. While their courses have definitely improved and the knowledge base is reasonably comprehensive, I often hit walls where searches turn up nothing useful or the articles are too shallow to guide more complex designs. In those cases I end up experimenting or asking colleagues because there simply aren't detailed guides for advanced reporting scenarios.

“Flexible solution, easy to expand”
Pros
Jedox is very powerful and easy to use. I love the integration into Excel, which allows me to create completely new ad hoc reports within minutes. Also, I can start with a small solution for a specific reporting or planning need and expand it easily, even during runtime.
Cons
Improving the integration of workflows into custom reports and applications could make it more accessible.
