“User-friendly etl modeler”
Pros
I appreciate the user-friendly built-in ETL modeler features.
Cons
At this point, I haven't found any real downsides apart from the intentionally added modelling complexity, in my view.

“Single truth for all departments”
Pros
It is really helpful for pulling together strategic work across finance, sales and operations, procurement, human resources, production and other departments. For me it created a single source of truth that noticeably improved the quality and consistency of our data which in turn made it easier for decision-makers to act quickly and with confidence based on accurate information. It also trimmed down the time and costs involved in a number of processes which was a real benefit for our team. On top of that, I appreciate how user-friendly it feels since it integrates with Microsoft platforms that most people are already comfortable with. The Jedox connector proved useful too, letting us pull data from multiple source systems and surface it in other third-party BI tools so we could visualise and share insights without too much fuss.
Cons
Although I like that it offers a variety of ready-made models to choose from, in my experience the platform's full capabilities only come out after a fair amount of customisation and configuration by Jedox consultants prior to deployment. That means you shouldn't expect a plug and play miracle without some setup work. A good level of engagement from our end-users was also necessary during the project so the model builders could collect enough detailed information to configure things correctly and that commitment can be demanding for busy teams.

“Great Planning and Reporting Tool”
Pros
The implementation was very fast. The cube database is simple to understand and handle. Reports can be created easily, very similar to Excel and without any programming skills. There are a few great features that help me design long and complicated reports quickly and easily. By using the Jedox workflows, I can send out our monthly reporting fully automated. I highly recommend iXlog as a partner for the implementation.
Cons
The drill-through feature in reports lacks customization options, although Jedox support mentioned they're working on it.
