“Pro of it is it con too
Pros
Having quick access to my schedule and being able to spot the essential updates our team requires is something I appreciate.
Cons
However scheduling feature still needs imporvements as it at times frustrates me because it tends to act up when several colleagues are editing at the same time before the updated schedule gets published.

“handles labeling and time clocks well
Pros
We started using Jolt to handle in-process labeling at our food manufacturing plant. We bought the system because it was affordable to acquire and operate. Beyond labeling, we knew it offered a lot more functionality so we were drawn to those extra capabilities. Even though we haven't tapped into all of Jolt's features yet, right now it's handling finished-product labels and serving as a message board for weather-related updates. It's also become the main time clock for every employee to punch in and out and it helps us keep track of employee histories. Another nice touch is that it stores photos of everyone who clocks in which we find really helpful for quickly introducing and identifying new hires on the floor. Those examples only scratch the surface of how we're using the system and we're excited because we plan to roll out many more of its functions across the facility.
Cons
I honestly cannot think of anything about it that I dislike.

“Easy training, cut out paperwork
Pros
For our team, the system is incredibly user friendly so getting new employees trained is easy and fast. We've also customized it extensively to match our processes which really speeds up task scheduling and coordination. Overall it's cut out a tremendous amount of paperwork throughout our company.
Cons
Don't really have any real complaints about this software it does everything I need right now. That said I would love to see more features added in future updates to broaden what it can do and make it even more useful.

“Manages time-off well for us
Pros
With Jolt I can easily manage time-off and unavailable requests. It also assigns colors to those requests when building the rota which makes the schedule much simpler to read at a glance.
Cons
Having a monthly calendar view available for scheduling would be incredibly useful. Right now it's a real pain that I have to keep scrolling week by week to assemble the whole month which slows everything down.

“scheduling is ten times easier now
Pros
Using Jolt has made scheduling ten times easier for me!! I can release shifts and pick up others with a single click! I also find it easy to oversee my team's schedule and quickly spot where the gaps are.
Cons
I find logging in frustrating at times. It often asks me to enter my username and password twice which ends up being annoying and inconvenient.

“Easy scheduling, great logbook feature
Pros
What I really like about Jolt is how easy it is for both managers and employees to use. The scheduling/booking section is incredibly simple to navigate and makes handling time-off requests, roster adjustments and shift swaps feel effortless. Their logbook feature helps my whole team communicate much more effectively by allowing us to post concerns or issues and carry on conversations through a comment thread. It seriously saves us a ton of time! These days staff can trade shifts, request days off, give away a shift and set their live availability all by themselves. Being able to quickly print pre-made labels and, importantly, seeing that Jolt actually listens to users about requirements and features, makes it an excellent tool.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any complaints about Jolt because it has served our needs extremely well.

“pretty simple to use for everyone

This platform is really easy to use for both executives and coworkers. The scheduling tools are simple to work with and make managing time-off requests, shift changes and move adjustments a stress free process. Its logbook feature lets my entire team communicate more effectively by posting concerns or issues and letting a comment thread grow. Overall Jolt has organized our employee workflows and in my experience is easy to operate and genuinely helpful.

“Organized schedules months ahead
Pros
My workplace uses Jolt to plan our work schedules and I am really impressed with how organized everything is we can map out shifts months ahead which makes planning so much easier. I also rely on Jolt every day to run through our checklists and keep tasks on track.
Cons
One drawback I notice is that I cannot actually view the real number of hours I have worked through Jolt which is frustrating however, that limitation comes from my employers logging time in a separate system rather than Jolt.

With Jolt I can assign tasks to each employee which helps me increase the amount of work I can complete over the course of a day.
Cons
While Jolt works great for shopping and restaurant settings I sometimes find that when those two areas overlap the app doesn't quite fit exactly what I am trying to use it for.

“excellent reporting tools
Pros
Using Jolt has really simplified how we manage employees from the daily timeclock to payroll, team messaging, checklists and even the file and video libraries plus the scheduler. As everything I need to run our multi-faceted business is housed in one place. The reporting tools are excellent too and I have found them easy to generate and helpful when sharing information with my supervisors.
Cons
Entering employee scheduling information has been a little tricky for me. Things like tracking shift preferences, approving vacation and similar details feel clunky compared with scheduling-focused platforms such as WhenToWork or When I Work. I am hoping the company improves this area since I manage a large roster of staff who work irregular shifts and it creates extra work for me.

I have found Jolt incredibly simple to navigate and their team is always on hand to help whenever I need them. We also find it extremely effective at keeping our staff organized and on task using the lists feature.
Cons
Recently, we frequently run into issues with the printer and end up having to troubleshoot it which has been occurring several times a week as of late.

For my needs, I find Jolt a really useful way to monitor my available work hours and to submit requests for time off when I need them.
Cons
What bugs me is that after I mark my availability, I am still expected to explicitly enter any unavailable periods which feels unnecessary and redundant.

With Jolt, I am able to organize my employees tasks and responsibilities and I can also keep track of whether those required tasks are being completed successfully by the team.
Cons
However I cannot do everything from my PC. for example, assigning tasks requires using an iPad. I'd much prefer to be able to access the full feature set from both my computer and my iPad.

Personally I found their user support very helpful and I think the platform is really easy to understand and use.
