Proactive support

Pros

This product has been really simple and the price feels very reasonable. Anytime I ran into a problem, customer service was quick to step in and provided excellent help.

Cons

Even though the overall experience with the service is very good, the interface could look more attractive and visually appealing.

Ability to scan receipts

Pros

Getting around the platform is pretty simple. Being able to scan receipts right away makes it much easier to stay on top of expenses and the profit and loss statements are very useful.

Cons

It still needs stronger integration with Jobber. I rely on Jobber for dispatching and route planning and I'm still running into integration issues.

Convenient dashboard

Pros

The starting price is appealing and getting everything up and running doesn't take much effort. Day-to-day use feels simple and the dashboard is convenient while still covering everything you need.

Cons

The self-employed version feels pretty restricted when it comes to features and customization. Syncing also works poorly which can be frustrating.

Worth every penny

Pros

You get a lot for the price with it. It's a full-featured tool that covers a wide range of needs and moving around the system to enter expenses, invoices, journal entries and similar tasks feels very simple.

Cons

I'd still like to see a more user-friendly layout, along with some kind of AI assistant that could help locate features or information more quickly.

Wonderful tool for invoicing

Pros

Creating customer invoices with this product is really simple and it offers very good value for the money.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues with the product so I don't have any negatives to point out and there isn't anything I personally dislike about it.

Incredible value for small business

Pros

For a small business our size, it gives really strong value for the money. It helps us get plenty of quick wins and gives us a clear view of where the business stands especially when it comes to invoicing and collecting payments.

Cons

There honestly haven't been many downsides. The only thing was the recent dashboard change which felt a little confusing at first while we were getting used to the new navigation.

Cloud-based system

Pros

Being cloud-based is a big plus because I can sign in from anywhere whenever I need to. It's also fairly simple to navigate and use overall.

Cons

The analytics can be somewhat confusing and the interface doesn't feel completely user-friendly. For instance, I create POs in the system but I still tend to forget where that section is located.

Highly accessible tool

Pros

Accessing it from different devices is really convenient. It's also very simple to use especially with all of the reporting features available.

Cons

I do wish there were live customer support with real people. Sometimes it's just easier to speak with someone directly when I have questions. It can also be a bit glitchy at times which really slows down my work.

Easy access

Pros

Its great being able to access it from anywhere. Creating invoices and accepting payments is also quick and simple.

Cons

A frustrating part is how simple it is to accidentally create duplicate clients in the system. There should be a clear alert to let users know a duplicate client already exists, along with a built-in option to merge those clients without hassle.

Handy mobile accounting

Pros

Being able to handle my business accounting right from my phone is really convenient and the automatic expense categorization saves me a lot of time.

Cons

The inventory system doesn't seem very strong and the reporting tools don't always display all the information I need.

They understand customers

Pros

Right away, it felt user-friendly and well thought out. It's clear they understand what their clients need and have built the platform to deliver on that.

Cons

Price was a little too high. As a small business, I didn't really need the more advanced reporting features so paying extra for those felt like money that could have been better spent elsewhere.

Can sign in from multiple devices

Pros

Being cloud-based is a big plus since it can be accessed from practically anywhere. It's also really convenient that you can sign in from multiple devices which makes using it much more flexible.

Cons

You're essentially paying to rent the software instead of owning it so the long-term cost can add up. We also weren't happy that certain features required paying extra and some of the more advanced tools available in the desktop version weren't included here.

Automated bookkeeping is amazing

Pros

The biggest advantage for me is the automated bookkeeping, along with invoicing and payments. It does a really good job of keeping everything organized and on track.

Cons

Nothing really stands out as a downside to me because everything has been working well and I've had a positive experience overall. If anything, the platform could be a little faster at times.

Misleading support cost us money

Pros

Having all of my business operations in one place has been the one bright spot especially banking, invoicing, bills and payroll.

Cons

The staff has repeatedly given us incorrect information and it ended up putting us in a situation where we lost money that we have not been able to recover.

Comes with plenty of useful features

Pros

There are plenty of useful features built in. The bank account integration is a big plus because it automatically imports transactions. Another thing we really appreciate is that once transactions are categorized, the system starts recognizing similar ones and auto-categorizes them going forward. It's fairly user-friendly even for someone with limited bookkeeping experience. The reporting is also very strong and gives a clear picture of the company's finances.

Cons

Automatch feature is not always reliable. For example, when I make a credit card payment from my bank account, it does not consistently match the two transactions which can be confusing if you are not very experienced.

AI agent saves me time

Pros

One thing that's been especially helpful is the AI-powered accounting agent. From what I've seen, it's been a real time-saver for me every single week.

Cons

The newer feature that flags incomplete transactions isn't really my preference. I already have my own way of handling that although I'm sure I'll adjust to it over time.

not overly complicated

Pros

It is pretty easy to handle. It doesn't feel overly complicated the way some other accounting programs do and it's also very cost-effective.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. I love using this program and it feels like a perfect fit for small to medium-sized businesses at a very reasonable price.

Reliable accounting with strong integrations

Pros

It's a very solid and reliable accounting platform that handles all the core essentials well. I also really appreciate the broad ecosystem of integrations it offers.

Cons

the interface feels very cluttered. The pricing has also gone up over time which is understandable but it did make us reconsider how much we want to keep using the tool.

helps with customer management

Pros

Running our finances through this as the main accounting platform has been great. We handle invoicing, bill payments, income and expense tracking, bank transaction syncing and financial reporting all in one place which makes everything much more manageable. It also helps a lot with customer management since account notes, invoices and payments stay organized together. Being able to sync our bank account for real-time reconciliation is a huge advantage as well. Our books honestly have never looked better.

Cons

Keeping up with the frequent interface changes can be tough. Some updates come across as clunky or more complicated than they need to be so it gets frustrating having to learn the layout again and again. The "classic view" does help in certain spots but I still think the platform would be better if customer feature requests were taken more seriously to improve overall usability.

Detailed help resources

Pros

Everything about it feels very user-friendly and the help resources are incredibly detailed. It also gives you plenty of financial options and being able to customize them the way you want is a big plus.

Cons

There really isn't much I dislike about it but I'm not a fan of the new banking transactions view. It doesn't feel as user-friendly to me as the previous version did.
