integrations save time

Pros

It handles my bookkeeping well and the integration with other software helps automate invoicing and billing which saves me a lot of time.

Cons

The cost feels a bit high for a solopreneur and once you're on a plan, you're somewhat stuck with pricing that increases from time to time.

all accounts linked effortlessly

Pros

Being able to connect all of my accounts in one place is a huge plus. It saves a lot of time since I don't have to manually reconcile bank or credit card statements.

Cons

It doesn't let me download PDF copies of statements or checks that have been written.

Happy with it!

Pros

Really happy with it. Having several people in the office able to access employee paychecks for accounting needs has been very helpful.

Cons

Office staff can quickly pull current employee data whenever needed which makes real-time information available at all times.

awesome bookkeeping tool

Pros

It's been a really helpful bookkeeping tool for our small not-for-profit business. The platform is simple to work with and being able to access it from anywhere is a big plus.

Cons

The pricing feels a bit high for a small not-for-profit like ours. It would be nice to have a lower-cost option, maybe with an annual payment plan instead of paying monthly.

Useless ai support

Pros

Receipt Snap does a decent job and that is about where the usable functionality stops. I'll also admit the green color looks nice, if I have to add something else positive.

Cons

Most of the app barely works especially after the Intuit migration. Customer support is basically an AI chat that comes close to being useless. I also lost several transactions when I switched devices which is honestly alarming for an accounting app.

cuts down manual work

Pros

Daily bookkeeping feels a lot more manageable with it than I expected. The automation tools like bank feeds, recurring invoices and rules cut down a huge amount of manual work and the dashboard gives a really clear view of cash flow without having to hunt through different sections. Working with my accountant is also much better since everything is cloud-based and we're both seeing the same numbers at the same time. When you're handling multiple projects, having invoicing, expense tracking and reporting all together in one place is a big advantage.

Cons

There's definitely a real learning curve. Some menu paths don't feel very user-friendly especially when you need to make adjustments or correct small mistakes. The reporting features are strong but customizing them can be annoying and at times it takes more clicks than it really should. I've also had occasional bank feed syncing glitches, not anything major but enough to slow me down when I'm trying to reconcile things quickly.

Fast and efficient

Pros

It is great how fast and efficient it is. I can send invoices straight to clients from the platform without having to handle the email myself which saves time.

Cons

I have no complaints. It has all the features my company needs, including payroll, accounting and bookkeeping and it works really efficiently.

Frustrating lag and login issues

Pros

Several people can access the accounting data from wherever they are which is really useful. The pricing also feels quite reasonable compared with the desktop version. Another plus is not having to deal with yearly software upgrades. On top of that, the credit card and ACH payment feature works well and has genuinely helped us collect customer payments faster.

Cons

Compared with the desktop version, this one falls short in a number of areas. There are times when I cannot log in at all or I get kicked out at the worst possible moment. It does not happen constantly but it happens often enough to be very frustrating. Posting data also does not always update the information right away. The system has a noticeable lag too and even with a fiber optic connection, it is still a problem. Sales tax is especially painful to deal with and much harder to understand which is surprising since the desktop version was very simple once it was set up correctly. I could list several more examples but overall I am very disappointed with the software especially knowing how capable the desktop version is.

simple for me and my customers

Pros

it has been simple both for me and for my customers. Adding services or products takes very little effort and sending a payment link is convenient since I can either email it right from the platform or copy the link and send it through my own email.

Cons

the interface changes often without much, if any, explanation. Features I use all the time, like invoicing, get moved around and then I have to dig through menus to find them again. Separating the customer database from the invoicing tab also feels strange.

Lets me upload attachments

Pros

It handles just about everything I need and its really easy to handle. Being able to upload attachments and keep them stored electronically with each transaction is something I really appreciate.

Cons

Since our accountant manages it, once she closes and locks the previous month, we're no longer able to make any changes to it.

Simple navigation

Pros

Navigation feels simple and the platform is user friendly overall. That makes day-to-day work faster and helps improve my operational efficiency.

Easy to train

Pros

Running my business has become so much simpler with this. It's very user-friendly and training new employees on it doesn't take much time at all.

Features make sense

Pros

Found it very userfriendly. The features make sense, everything is labeled clearly and it's simple to locate the tasks I need to handle and get them done without much effort.

Cons

The only real annoyance I run into is the login at times. Aside from that, I can't think of any major issues off the top of my head.

incredible automation features

Pros

It is quite convenient thanks to its user-friendly layout and overall ease of use. The reporting tools are one of its strongest points and the core accounting features cover the essentials really well. Automation also helps cut down on repetitive work and overall it offers solid value for the money.

Cons

Customer support can be unreliable and inconsistent which is frustrating when help is needed. Customization options also feel somewhat limited and setting up more complex workflows comes with a fairly steep learning curve. On top of that, it doesn't offer many niche or industry-specific features.

No tutorials needed

Pros

Getting started with it was very simple. I didn't need to sit through a long tutorial or training session to figure things out and I was able to use it right from the first time I logged in.

Cons

Payroll entry can be annoying. The system doesn't let you reorder items so when you're entering several line items for one person, it can get harder to follow everything if you lose your spot.

More reliable than UKG

Pros

The financial reporting, invoicing, time tracking and attendance tools have been excellent. It's actually been more reliable than UKG which has made a noticeable difference.

Cons

It is a bit expensive and there are plenty of upsell opportunities along the way. Even so, the value for the money is consistently there.

Smooth transition

Pros

Moving over from our invoicing and company software went really well. It's a solid option for the price, works well for employee time tracking and has made handling tax compliance much more simple and direct.

Cons

Getting to everything can take a while because information is spread across so many tabs. It ends up being pretty time-consuming to track down what you need.

affordable and feature-packed

Pros

It's simple to manage and the price feels reasonable for everything that's included. It handles categorization really well which makes it much easier to see where our money is going and understand overall spending. The integrations with our other software have also been really helpful.

Cons

There's not much to complain about overall but it can be a little less user-friendly when dealing with more advanced accounting tasks like deferred costs or accrued expenses.

Does a lot of work for you

Pros

it handles a lot of the bookkeeping work on its own. It automatically brings in bank transactions, categorizes expenses and keeps everything current. That makes reconciliation much quicker, reduces errors and gives you a clear view of your cash flow at all times.

Cons

I didn't run into any major issues with it or anything that really stood out as a complaint.

Visually appealing

Pros

Everything has been working consistently for me. The interface is clean, simple and pleasant to look at. There are plenty of report options and being able to create invoices directly from timesheets is a really nice feature.

Cons

The current week automatically pre-populates on the weekly timesheet. It really doesn't make sense and ends up causing a lot of mistakes and extra work. I've shared this feedback but my suggestions have been ignored so I don't feel very supported or listened to.
