“Bank sync makes payments effortless”
Pros
Keeping up with finances is simple with this and the direct bank connection makes handling expenses and payments really convenient.
Cons
Once the trial period is over, the price feels pretty high if you only have basic needs. The interface can also feel a bit clunky from time to time.

“approachable support team”
Pros
Its really simple to track expenses and revenue with this software. It's user-friendly, simple to use and makes the whole process feel manageable even for someone who usually avoids anything finance-related. Customer support is fast and helpful and the reporting section is also very easy to navigate whenever I need to pull something up.
Cons
There's honestly not much to complain about. If I had to point out one thing, it would be the price since it feels a little expensive for what you get. That said, it's not outrageously priced and part of what you're paying for is how user-friendly it is.

“Syncs well with our cRM”
Pros
Running this cloud-based, browser-accessible system has been incredibly helpful for our business needs. We especially love how well it integrates with our CRM and the other connection options available.
Cons
Getting used to the new layout took a bit of time. Right when I felt confident finding everything, the interface changed and I had to adjust again.

“connects with almost every software”
Pros
Paying more upfront can sting a bit but it saves us a ton of time on paperwork. It connects with just about every software we use and having everything in one place has been a big help. It's also reduced the amount of time we spend on payroll and scheduling. Whether I'm on a computer or using my phone, the layout is simple and user-friendly even though the service does cost more.
Cons
Support has been helpful overall but getting to the right person can take some bouncing around between departments. The good part is that once they connect you with the correct team, they do a very solid job of resolving the issue. We use the cloud-based version and it has definitely helped cut payroll time while also giving us access to some really useful reports.

“simplicity stands out”
Pros
Appreciate the ease of use it offers and moving my ledgers into the system didn't take much effort at all. It also connects well with my billing solution which has been a big plus.
Cons
The different packages and pricing tiers were a bit confusing when I was trying to figure out which one fit my needs. I also would have preferred some one-on-one training instead of relying only on online support.

“Keeps our company connected”
Pros
It has been pretty simple and it does a really good job of keeping our company connected. We also use Contractor Foreman and the two platforms work really well together.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. The site is simple to use and the different categories make it very convenient to review our accounting.

“They value feedback”
Pros
several people can use it at the same time. The pricing is also something I really appreciate and it's nice to see the software keep improving based on customer feedback and requests.
Cons
it's designed to help people without an accounting background enter data correctly but it becomes less helpful when you already understand the accounting you want to do and just aren't sure how the buttons connect to the general ledger.

“appreciate the banking feed”
Pros
The banking feed is one of my favorite parts and I really appreciate the different ways I can access and organize my data. I also prefer the Classic View over the Modern View because it lets me see the Profit & Loss report by month, year-to-date or simply as totals for a specific Class or Initiative in my case.
Cons
At the moment, my biggest frustration is that the system defaults to Modern View. It doesn't give me the same flexibility for organizing information that Classic View does and I still haven't found a way to make Classic View the default.

“support is not up to the mark”
Pros
Having all of my business accounts together in one place is really convenient and categorizing expenses is pretty simple. The reporting tools have also been a valuable asset for the company.
Cons
There are times when it's confusing to figure out how something should be categorized and support isn't always as knowledgeable as it should be. Over the years, I've had plenty of chat conversations and my biggest frustration is that they often try to upsell extra products instead of actually helping with the issue I contacted them about. I've also run into problems with getting my accounts to link properly.

“Multi-user access”
Pros
Compared with our desktop version of Sage 200, this is a much better option. Multiple people can work in it at the same time and the SSO support is a big plus for security.
Cons
Customizing invoice templates was a bit tricky. It would be better if there were conditional templating options and more flexibility for customization.

“Wide range of integrations”
Pros
The platform is user-friendly, works well with a wide range of other products and makes it simple to connect bank accounts and pull reports. It also comes with plenty of useful features.
Cons
At times, it can glitch and close out unexpectedly without any warning or error message explaining what happened. It can also run pretty slowly now and then.

“polished customer-facing interface”
Pros
Putting together invoices feels pretty smooth and the customer-facing interface looks polished and user-friendly. It lets us turn out professional-looking bids and invoices quickly without having to wrestle with a lot of formatting.
Cons
On the bookkeeping side though, it is far less user-friendly. There isn't a simple step-by-step flow for accounting tasks and with so many different ways to enter the same information, it can get confusing and lead to duplicate entries.

“simple automation with mobile access”
Pros
We went with it because it keeps things simple, automates a lot of the work, gives us solid mobile access and connects well with a wide range of integrations.
Cons
The increasing cost and bundled service fees are definitely worth noting. It could also use more in-depth reporting, better template customization and stronger data portability.

“Really useful tool”
Pros
Being able to log in from anywhere is a big advantage and makes this a really useful tool. As long as I have a solid internet connection, I can count on being able to work in the application.
Cons
It's annoying when the system starts running slowly and the biggest downside is how poor the customer service is. You end up waiting a very long time before any issue gets resolved.

“Costly glitches and no accountability”
Pros
It used to work much better as a desktop product but since the move to the online version it has become very glitchy and I've run into ongoing problems. I ended up losing more than $3,000 because of it.
Cons
A major system glitch recently cost me over $3,000 which is far beyond a minor issue. I sent their support team videos and screenshots showing exactly what happened but they tried to blame my network instead. That explanation makes no sense for an online system because if the network were the problem, nothing would load at all. The video clearly shows the issue happening inside their platform and they still refused to take responsibility.

“great for real-time collaboration”
Pros
It has been user friendly and simple to work with which makes daily accounting tasks more manageable. Being cloud-based is also a big plus since it can be accessed anytime and from anywhere. Automatic bank feeds help save time and real-time collaboration makes it convenient when multiple people need to work on the books. Automatic backups and updates are another benefit because they reduce maintenance and keep everything current.
Cons
Compared with the desktop version, it is missing some more advanced features like advanced inventory, job costing and industry-specific tools. It also has limits on the number of users and file sizes which can become a problem as the business expands.

“Layout makes sense”
Pros
Getting bills, expenses and checks entered takes hardly any time which makes the whole process feel very efficient. The layout is simple to work with and adding receipts is a real time-saver since the fields auto-fill for you. It keeps things moving quickly and makes everyday bookkeeping much easier.
Cons
If I had to point out one thing, I'd say the filtering could use a bit more customization. Other than that, there's really nothing else I dislike about it, the product has been excellent overall.

“most widely used accounting software”
Pros
Being the most widely used accounting software really works in its favor. Since it's so popular, it comes packed with a lot of features and capabilities and it's likely to keep evolving as AI and other technology changes over time.
Cons
Because it's such a massive product, Intuit doesn't seem very focused on individual customers. It feels similar to companies like Apple or Google in that way. They also tend to copy features from smaller integration partners like Keeper and Financial Cents. On top of that, subscription price increases happen pretty often and the features used to justify those hikes can be buggy and feel like they still belong in beta.
