Pros
Having QuickBooks Online run entirely in the cloud makes a big difference since you or your bookkeeper can check the financials from any internet-connected device. That comes in handy when working remotely or while away from the office. It also makes collaboration much simpler because your accountant or bookkeeper can log in directly, instead of dealing with files being sent back and forth.
Cons
Because it depends on the cloud, any slow or unreliable internet connection can cause interruptions which is something to keep in mind in places like Kampala or during remote work. The monthly subscription is another downside since the cost builds up over time and some of the more advanced tools are only available on the higher-priced plans.

It has been well worth the cost because it's very user-friendly. It covers everything in one place, from creating invoices and collecting payments to generating financial reports and the whole system is simple to work with. I'd recommend it anytime especially for someone new to accounting or running a small business.
Cons
Customer support has room for improvement. Phone support is fast and helpful but getting help through email usually takes longer.

Being able to use it from anywhere is great and the it is simple enough to pick up quickly. Since accounting isn't my profession, having something that's simple to learn has been really helpful.
Cons
There are a lot of features and with the frequent updates, it sometimes takes a bit of time to figure out where everything moved on the website.

After years of using it, it still feels very simple to get around and I'd choose it over any other platform without hesitation.
Cons
What frustrates me is not being able to find the tab where deposits used to appear so I could quickly check how much had come in instead of digging through invoices to see which ones were paid.

Pros
Having everything payment-related in one place has been really helpful. The system keeps clear records for each paystub and they can be downloaded anytime they're needed. The interface also gives a useful overview of how money is distributed, almost like a financial report which makes things much easier to understand.
Cons
There was a small issue with the system at one point and it wasn't very clear how to contact support. Once we figured that out though, everything was handled smoothly.

It feels very easy to use and the overall layout stays simple. It also connects really well with the cloud-based tools we rely on. Sending invoices and collecting payments is efficient which helps cash come in faster. The reporting is also solid once the right parameters are set up.
Cons
Switching over can be a bit of an adjustment if you've been used to the desktop version. Even with that, QBO is a reliable, high-quality product that works well. It's an excellent option for small to mid-sized businesses.

Being able to log in from anywhere is a big advantage. The mobile app is especially useful for quickly entering transactions and taking photos of receipts on the spot. The financial reports are really valuable for reviewing the overall health of a business and it also helps a lot with getting customer payments collected without hassle. On top of that, customer support has been helpful and responds quickly when needed.
Cons
Features are changed often and I'm not a fan of the newer invoicing layout. The fees also seem to keep going up which makes it harder to recommend to clients when the pricing increases so frequently.

Its been easy to use. It's packed with features, connects well with other tools and the platform is simple to navigate overall. Looking up transactions and pulling financial reports doesn't take much effort and accepting payments or creating invoices is very convenient.
Cons
Payroll feels confusing and it could definitely be simplified. The layout in that section isn't always clear and there aren't enough help tips to explain what each option does. A guided wizard or similar step-by-step tool would make it much easier to use.

Getting started with it was simple and using it day to day has been just as easy. It makes accounting and invoicing feel effortless and it also connects well with our other HR and scheduling apps which helps cut down the time spent on admin work and keeps everything easier to manage.
Cons

Cons

It has been really simple. Creating invoices is easy and consistent, taking payments is hassle-free and the reporting tools are excellent. They make tax season much more manageable especially when expenses are properly categorized throughout the year.
Cons
The pricing is where it loses points for me. The fees already feel high and the subscription cost keeps going up without any noticeable added value. It comes across like one of those situations where a company just passes its own costs along to customers and I'm definitely not a fan of that.

Having access from anywhere is a nice benefit and it helps that multiple users can work in it from different locations at the same time.
Cons
The layout keeps changing without any notice which is really frustrating. On top of that, the online version is hard to use and runs slowly even with fiber internet and plenty of RAM on my laptop.
