Its amazing much time it saves by automating repetitive accounting work. Project time tracking has also been a really valuable part of using QuickBooks Online for me.
Cons
Up to this point, I haven't run into any issues on my end and I use it regularly, mostly for tracking time and attendance.

Pros
It has a tidy interface and being able to access it online is convenient. Getting around the system for basic tasks is simple which makes it fairly beginner-friendly.
Cons
The Projects feature in Plus is basically useless. It doesn't offer meaningful reports, proper income and expense tracking is missing and they keep pushing users to upgrade to Advanced. The advertising feels misleading.

Pros
Having everything online makes bookkeeping much more convenient since you can stay prepared for taxes throughout the year, access the system from anywhere and let multiple people work in the same program. The rule feature is especially helpful because it can automatically categorize transactions and cut down on repetitive manual work. It also covers invoicing, check writing, payroll and financial reporting in a way that feels both simple and capable. On top of that, it connects well with plenty of other tools for uploading transactions, handling payroll, taxes and more which makes it a really valuable solution. Its strong reputation in the industry is another big plus because it feels like a reliable choice for both our team and our customers.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. That said, this is the primary bookkeeping software we've used so we don't have much else to compare it against.

Using it has been really convenient, the invoicing works very well and the interface is clean and simple to navigate. Even paystubs are easy to locate without any hassle.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints since everything works well and loads properly. If anything, it could load a bit faster at times but that's probably more due to my internet connection.

Starting a new business felt a lot more manageable with this. It cuts down the time I spend organizing jobs, helps me keep track of hours worked on each one, makes invoicing much simpler and keeps all my financials in order when tax season comes around.
Cons
The format changed right after I had finally gotten comfortable with it. It took a little time to get used to the new layout but once I adjusted, it worked just as well as before.

From day one, it has been the bookkeeping and accounting backbone of my firm. It's good value for the money, simple to use and the financial reporting gives me exactly what I need.
Cons
The thing that feels off is payroll being sold as an add-on instead of being built in. Paying extra for that doesn't really make sense for smaller businesses with limited payroll needs.

Everything is stored in the cloud which makes a big difference because employees can work from anywhere without being tied to one location. Automatic invoicing and transaction downloads save a lot of time and there's no separate backup process to worry about. It's definitely a must-have tool for an accounting team.
Cons
Audit trail controls are weak and it is simple to delete transactions. That has created major headaches for us during reviews and audits.

The invoice templates are clean and simple which makes communication and billing feel professional. Customer follow-up is also built in nicely and being able to view monthly sales in graph form is really helpful for tracking how things are going.
Cons

Keeping invoicing and financial reporting organized is a big plus and the way time tracking feeds into billing, driver work and dispatch activity fits really well. The interface is simple enough that I can stay on top of the books between load assignments.
Cons
Support can be slow when things get busy and random issues with bank feeds or report filters can interrupt regular reconciliations. New users may also need some help getting the chart of accounts set up properly.

Keeping my accounts in order with this has been really helpful and it makes it simple to track spending and income so I don't overspend or end up underestimating what I'm earning.
Cons
From time to time, it reaches out with upgrade prompts that are made to feel urgent or necessary when, most of the time, they really aren't. The upgrade pricing is also extremely high. On one occasion, I was pushed into upgrading and ended up losing all of my payroll features which meant I couldn't run payroll for a full week. I had to write paper checks for my staff instead and that created a bigger mess later when we had to adjust future paychecks to recover the taxes that weren't taken out of those manual checks.

Cons

Cons
Syncing with Canadian bank accounts can be frustrating because of the security requirements and two-step authentication. I end up having to log in again all the time.
