Having multiple users update information when needed is a big plus. The platform feels fairly user-friendly and it's simple for people to find what they need with access from anywhere.
Cons

Getting started with it was simple and the setup didn't take much time at all. With how packed my schedule usually is, I really appreciate not having to dig around for information, everything I need is right there in the app.
Cons
The part I liked least was the price even though I ended up choosing the annual subscription. There are definitely cheaper options out there but none of them covered everything I was looking for.

The software is simple to use, with solid customization options for client invoices, plus the ability to set reminders and automatically add late payment fees.
Cons
The website feels a little complex and it doesn't have the polished functionality you'd expect from a more advanced tech platform especially simple things like opening items in new tabs directly from the page. The interface can also feel slow.

as a new user, it is pretty simple and the interface feels convenient without being confusing. The pricing is affordable too which makes it even more appealing.
Cons
Moving back and forth between multiple entities is pretty annoying. The 2FA setup is also frustrating since it only allows one phone number which is a hassle when you're working in a partnership.

Pros
Having everything queued up in one place really helps with handling rental invoices, vendor bills and employee reimbursements without jumping between systems. The bank account auto-sync also works fairly well.
Cons
Reporting feels pretty limited unless you pay for an upgrade or manually export everything to Excel which is honestly a real letdown.

Compared with the desktop version, the one advantage QBO has is being able to log in and access it from any computer.
Cons
Beyond that, it feels nowhere near as user-friendly as QuickBooks Desktop. The reports are different and you can only keep one report open at a time which makes switching back and forth really frustrating. On top of that, the account drop-down isn't organized in a user-friendly way.

Moving our accounts over from the existing on-prem Enterprise setup was simple and being able to access everything from anywhere has been a big plus.
Cons
During one client migration from QuickBooks Desktop to Online, they accidentally sent an older file so we had to contact support to cancel that upload and replace it with the newer file instead.

The platform is simple to work with and the reporting is powerful. It also connects well with GoCardless which lets us take credit card payments and set up direct debits something that matters a lot for how our business operates.
Cons
Support has noticeably declined over the years I've been using it. Quite often I'll raise an issue through live chat and then never hear anything back. I'm also not a fan of the review mailers they send out offering a voucher because the small print says it only applies to the first 500 responses or comes with some other condition. It feels like a way to collect lots of reviews while only rewarding a small number of people and I don't think that's very ethical.

The accounting software itself is solid but customer support is basically nonexistent and getting any issue resolved feels impossible.
Cons
For the past two months, the system hasn't let me connect my bank account and every time I try, it says it's under maintenance for some unknown reason until January 2026. My bookkeeping is completely stuck and the only response I get is from AI giving me pointless steps that do nothing except waste more of my time.

Cons
If you're using Desktop, don't switch over, just stay where you are. The online version still feels unfinished, even though the sales rep may promise it's the same or even better. That wasn't true at all in my case.

Connecting it with most of my bank accounts was pretty simple. The staff also walked me through the features I paid for which made a big difference. Because of that, I'm able to get around most of the system without much trouble.
Cons
