“Simplifies tracking”

Pros

Keeping up with the company's income and expenses is the part this software handles best for me. It really simplifies tracking everything in one place.

Cons

The free version doesn't offer much in terms of features so you'll likely need to pick one of the paid subscription plans to get access to more functionality.

“Brings business accounts at one spot”

Pros

Having all of our business accounts together in one place makes things much more manageable and being able to review the books and confirm everything is accurate on the banking side is a big plus.

Cons

It can get pretty challenging once you start digging deeper into it. Accounting is already stressful on its own and trying to understand all the more advanced parts of the system can be tough which is exactly why training classes are offered to help people learn it.

“Ease of sending invoices”

Pros

Getting started with it was very simple and I was able to begin using it right away. Sending invoices and receiving payments is especially convenient and works really well.

Cons

There are quite a few extra features I haven't had time to explore yet and some of them have been a bit hard to fully understand.

“Extremely capable tool”

Pros

Compared with the desktop version, the online features feel much more capable. Sending invoices to clients is also very simple which makes that part of the job much more convenient.

Cons

There are still frequent glitches with accounts not displaying correctly. We've also run into problems with monthly recurring bills not being sent the way they should.

Having multiple ways to search made it fairly simple to locate most payments and honestly that was the one benefit that really stood out to me.

Cons

Once there was too much data involved, it felt slow even when I used several search filters. It would start lagging and I'd end up having to restart the search all over again.

“Visually attractive”

Pros

They provide incredible support during setup and I really appreciate how well it connects with so many other tools. The platform also has a clean, attractive look that makes it pleasant to use.

Cons

I'd change the overall layout and feel of the platform, it could be made a bit simpler. Even though it looks nice, the UI could be more efficient in the way everything is organized. Also, the migration tool that brings over data from previous software sounds very useful but it doesn't retain currency conversion which is frustrating if that's something you rely on.

Simple yet powerful software that handles just about any foreseeable issues before they become a problem. It's very user-friendly to use.

Cons

The cost is a downside and it can be buggy at times. The biggest issue is customer service since some of the support reps don't seem to really know the software.

Using it has been very easy which is probably my favorite part and there's always online support and plenty of resources available when needed.

Cons

Like most software, it does have occasional bugs here and there. Because of that, there are also ongoing glitches that need to be fixed from time to time.

“Does it all for me”

Pros

Having everything together in one spot is really helpful. I can manage invoices, organize receipts and keep all of it in the same place without jumping between different tools.

Cons

During tax time, I had to delete something and then try to add it back but the system would not let me re-enter it. I'm also not a big fan of how the invoices are set up.

“Accounting that actually feels enjoyable”

Pros

As a new or less experienced user, this tool has been very simple and it makes accounting feel almost enjoyable, even for people who normally hate dealing with numbers. A big plus for us is how well it connects with our customer relationship management system.

Cons

A concern we do have is the increasing costs and fees, especially since we're a small organization and may run into cash flow challenges.

“No downsides at all”

Pros

Right from the start, I was impressed by how user-friendly this product is. Getting everything set up was simple thanks to the clear step-by-step instructions. If you follow the tutorial, you can get comfortable with it and feel like an expert pretty quickly.

Cons

I honestly had to think hard about this one because I couldn't come up with anything I'd really call a downside. It feels like they've already ironed out the issues and the software works extremely well.

“Reliable tool with strong integrations”

Pros

It has been a dependable tool for us and the interface is user-friendly enough to work with comfortably. It also connects really well with other platforms which makes day-to-day tasks much more convenient.

Cons

Every now and then, we run into sync errors but overall it remains extremely reliable for the most part.

Pros

Handling all of my payroll tasks in one place has been really convenient. It also makes it simple to keep my staff organized along with all of their payroll details and documentation.

Cons

I honestly haven't run into anything to dislike. They do a really solid job, especially with payroll and they ask the right questions to make sure everything is done correctly.

“Helpful workforce timekeeping”

Pros

The Workforce timekeeping has been really helpful. It lets our employees update their own account details and I can still review everything first and approve it before any changes go through.

Cons

At times, the system moves very slowly which can be frustrating. It also isn't always very user friendly and because of the pricing difference between our current plan and the one that would add another user, I have to rely on an administrator to switch me between payroll and estimates.

“Clear pay stub breakdown”

Pros

it feels very simple and pulling up older paychecks only takes a moment. The pay stubs are displayed with graphs which makes it simple to compare previous checks with the current one. I also really appreciate that it shows net pay first, then gross pay, along with a clear breakdown of the taxes that were withheld.

Cons

there is not much for me to complain about. The setup is simple and the system is user-friendly overall. The only mildly frustrating part is getting through all the authentication steps, especially during the initial setup. If you sign in on a new device, you have to repeat that same authentication process again.

“Appreciate the automated bank reconciliation”

Pros

Found it easy to use and the cloud-based access is really convenient. The automated bank reconciliation is also something I appreciate a lot.

Cons

The pricing is definitely a downside and I still miss the more advanced reporting and customization features that were available in the desktop version.

Having all my payment information available whenever I need it has been really helpful. I can quickly go back and check how much I made during a specific period and the site makes that very simple to do.

Cons

A few of the more advanced features were a little overwhelming and not that easy to locate at first. It took a bit of time to understand the layout and figure out how certain tools worked but once I became familiar with it, using them felt much more manageable.

“No downtime issues”

Pros

There's never really any downtime which has been a big plus. I can sign in quickly and pick up right where I stopped and the interface feels clean and simple to work with. Customer support has also been very solid. Having my accountant able to access everything directly makes the bookkeeping and accounting side much more manageable.

Cons

Ongoing fee increases bother me. I understand that prices can go up over time but it feels like the cost keeps rising without much explanation or any noticeable added value to justify paying more.

“Organizes everything”

Pros

This software keeps the business side of things really well organized. It helps manage products and vendors and it also covers paying invoices and employees.

Cons

Overall interface customization feels limited. It would be better if fonts and colors could be adjusted across the entire software instead of only in receipt or invoice layouts and product photos.

“Ability to work from anywhere”

Pros

Being cloud-based has made a big difference, especially with all the integrations, the simple setup and the ability to work from anywhere. The mobile app is also really handy and there's plenty of customization to fit different needs.

Cons

The biggest frustration has been customer support, especially when dealing with local taxes being withheld in the payroll feature. That issue wasn't handled well so I ended up creating my own workaround.
