Handling client billing and credit card payments is simple and the monthly financial reports are accurate and give us a clear picture of where the company stands financially.

Getting clear answers from customer support can be hit or miss when the questions are more complicated.

Pros

Day to day, this is the tool I depend on and it has completely changed the way I handle bookkeeping. The feature set is powerful and the interface is user-friendly which makes it an excellent option for any business wanting to simplify and improve financial management. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient, effective bookkeeping solution.

Cons

One thing I'd like to see improved is the ability to leave certain items off a report before sending it to customers.

“Tracks customer accounts well”

Pros

Being able to see when an invoice was viewed and how many times someone opened it is really useful. It also does a good job of tracking customer accounts and the system is simple to use overall.

Cons

It began at a lower rate but it feels like the cost goes up by about $5 every year.

Pros

Having estimating and invoicing together in one place makes the whole process much more convenient and efficient.

The mobile app could be improved by offering more complete functionality.

Handling invoices with this has become much more simple and it cuts down a lot of the hassle in the process.

The integration with my CRM through a third-party app is a bit buggy which makes it hard to rely on consistently.

Something that has consistently bothered me is that it sometimes gives users too much freedom such as letting them delete transactions instead of voiding them.

Good value overall and the payroll side is fairly simple while still staying compliant with legislation. Being online also means I can access it from anywhere which is really convenient.

the transaction rules don't always work properly. The app is also pretty limited in terms of functionality so I usually have to use the online version instead.

“Fully customized reports”

Pros

There's a lot of flexibility here, the system is user-friendly and the reports can be fully customized to fit different needs. The live connection to a bank account is also very useful and helps keep things current.

Cons

The records are open to changes, journals can be edited or deleted without leaving any audit trail which is a real issue. It also doesn't have a proper year-end closing process to move profit and loss balances to the balance sheet and getting Power BI access set up can be tricky.

Pros

It works well with most other software which makes connecting tools and keeping everything in one place really convenient.

Cons

Coming into it with no prior experience, getting it set up and figuring out how to use it is not very simple.

“I can use it anywhere”

Pros

Being online is a huge plus because I can log in and use it from anywhere which I absolutely love.

Cons

Honestly, there's really nothing about it that I don't love.

Pros

It has been really user-friendly while still offering a lot of functionality. The reporting options are readily available and the multi-user setup works well when several people need access. It also handles multiple companies nicely which is a big plus. The available integrations, along with 1099 and payroll features, add a lot of value. I also appreciate how well it keeps vendors, customers, the chart of accounts and other records organized.

Cons

Some of the automation within the chart of accounts can be limiting, especially since there's not always an option to choose which accounts certain integrations post transactions through.

“Easy to move between A/R and A/P tasks”

Pros

Everything feels very user friendly and it's simple to move back and forth between different A/R and A/P tasks without any hassle.

Cons

The invoice update isn't really something I care for.

“Engaging software”

Pros

Having all my bookkeeping in one place, with my CPA able to access it too, has been really helpful. Everything stays synced and flows directly into the system which saves time. Once you get the hang of the reporting tools, it's actually pretty engaging to pull reports for whatever questions come up because there are so many ways to work with the data. The PDF exports also come out polished and look professional when I need to share them.

Cons

Expense categorization can be difficult because of all the little nuances. It would help a lot if each category had a small "define this expense" tooltip or question mark with examples of what belongs there. The machine learning could also be much better since the auto-categorization gets it wrong most of the time. I'd also love more flexibility on the home screen so I could customize the shortcuts that matter most to me.

“Handy payroll tracking tools”

Pros

Using it for my second job has been perfectly fine. It makes it simple to keep up with paychecks, review deposit history, set up direct deposits and update bank details and even someone new to the system can work through it without much trouble.

Cons

Every now and then, we run into glitches with the billing plan. I'm also not a fan of how much freedom employees have to make changes since I'd rather those kinds of updates be handled only by an admin.

Pros

Everything is very simple to handle. I can pull up anything I need, from W-2 forms to PTO, without any difficulty.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues with it at all.

Pros

Being able to switch my task status is really helpful because it lets management see exactly what I'm working on at any given time.

Cons

overall view of completed tasks feels pretty generic and doesn't always give enough detail about what's actually been finished.

Getting started with this tool was quick because the setup is pretty simple, even on the first day. The pricing is reasonable yet it still comes with strong accounting features. It also connects well with a lot of other finance tools and syncs data automatically which saves a lot of time. On top of that, the mobile app works really well.

Cons

customer support could be better since it can take quite a while to get an issue resolved.

“Doesn’t take long to learn”

Pros

It feels very simple and it doesn't take long to learn. There are also several ways to handle the same task but each option is user-friendly and simple to locate through the menu bars.

Cons

I'd really like to see automatic suggestions for commonly used descriptions in the bill and invoice description fields. Right now, I have to retype the same wording over and over and it would save a lot of time if the system recognized past entries and filled them in automatically.

“Exceeded my expectations”

Pros

At first, I assumed this was something built only for accountants but it actually worked really well for my needs. It connected to my business account and automatically organized my cash flow which was a huge help. It also made it much easier to keep my expenses in order for tax time.

Cons

It can feel a bit complex at times and I still had to go back in regularly to make sure the automations were working correctly.
