Pros
Having a mobile app is what makes this my top choice since I can manage my business anytime and from anywhere. Their customer support is strong and staffed by knowledgeable experts. It also integrates completely and overall I'm a very satisfied user who would confidently recommend it.
Cons

Pros
It makes it easy to send invoices. I can duplicate a previous invoice, make a few changes and send it out without starting from scratch. It also makes it very convenient to keep up with customer payments and see what's been paid.
Cons
Job costing is pretty limited. We end up relying on a third-party app, Citrix, to track job costs because there isn't a good built-in way to handle that in the system.

Pros
Dealing with customer support has been awful. The migration team keeps saying one thing and then never follows through. It's always, "yes, yes, we'll fix this," and then it turns into, "sorry, this needs to be escalated," followed by, "sorry, it actually wasn't escalated and now it will take 9-12 business days." They keep promising that someone will reach out but nobody ever does.
Cons
Data migration has been the biggest problem by far, along with how little transparency there is. They seem to have plenty of people available to answer calls all day but not anyone who can actually resolve the issue.

The income statement display by class and location is really useful and gives a clear breakdown of the numbers.
Cons
It logs me out pretty often. There are also times when I add an expense category and, after saving, it asks me to add the category again which ends up preventing the transaction from being saved.

“bank feeds are not reliable”

It works well for the average business owner because it's user-friendly. From an accountant/bookkeeper perspective, being able to log in and use it from wherever I'm working is a big plus. As long as I have wifi, I can get to it.
Cons
The bank feeds just aren't dependable and I don't have time to chase down authorization codes from every client whenever the feeds stop working. I also won't give clients access to the files because I don't want QuickBooks trying to poach them with all the live bookkeeper ads. On top of that, there really should be a better way to enter bank transactions manually like there is in desktop. The bank feeds are far too glitchy to count on.

“Less capable than the desktop version”
Pros
Its biggest advantage is how simple it is to use. The whole system is centered around the checkbook and it helps automate things like payroll, bill payments and invoicing. Since it runs in the cloud through a browser, there's nothing to install and you can access it from anywhere. It also makes working with an accountant much more efficient because both of you can view the same information in real time instead of emailing files back and forth and it even works on a mobile device.
Cons
Where it falls short is pricing and capability compared with the desktop version. The cost really isn't competitive and the online product feels far less capable than their desktop software. If you need automated payroll, you're expected to fit into their rigid package structure. Need quarterly payroll? That's not available unless you process it manually every quarter and it has to be done by the last day since automated payroll doesn't allow after-the-fact handling. I'd say desktop users who move over will end up paying at least twice as much for a cloud product that is less flexible and less dynamic. On top of that, support has been disappointing, most of the reps don't seem to be accountants or actual users of the software and instead rely on scripts just to move the call along so searching Google is often more helpful than contacting Intuit support.

Pros
The ease of use the tools offer is one of the best parts. It is very well-organized so I can usually figure out what needs to be done without much help and that lets me finish my actual work much faster. Another feature I really appreciate is being able to export lists and search results into other programs like Excel. The transaction search is also a huge help and has saved me a lot of time.
Cons
I dont enjoy the updates. Once I get into a routine and build a rhythm for entering information, a lot of the updates tend to disrupt that flow by adding extra steps to my process. I understand that updates are necessary as technology keeps changing but they can still slow me down and take time to adjust to. In my opinion, many of the changes feel fairly unnecessary, almost like things are being updated just for the sake of saying an update was made on schedule.
