Gives a full picture of business finances

Pros

Having everything in one place makes it really simple to get a full picture of my business finances. I can keep up with invoices, sales and expenses without jumping between different tools.

Cons

The website and the mobile app look a bit different and don't work exactly the same way.

Removes a lot of guesswork

Pros

Right from the start, it felt very user-friendly. The dashboard removed a lot of the guesswork from managing cash flow and the reports were simple to work with.

Cons

it may be a bit too user-friendly. Someone without much accounting experience can jump in and make changes without really understanding the consequences. On top of that, the multi-currency issues made it more difficult to use.

Simple to keep tabs on invoices

Pros

Keeping tabs on invoices and payments over any date range is really simple which makes it easy to find exactly what I need quickly.

Cons

I honestly do not have many complaints. The only thing that occasionally throws me off is when I search for a new vendor and it does not always show up in the search results right away.

AI tools are my favorite

Pros

It comes with a lot of features that really work well for me. My favorites are the AI tools, the third-party integrations, the reporting options, the bill pay functions and the online invoicing capabilities.

Cons

When I want to return to a report, I usually have to run it again instead of just picking up where I left off.

easy to work with

Pros

It has been really simple to work with and it offers plenty of features that fit well for a small business. Being able to log into my account from anywhere is also a big plus.

Cons

Every now and then it seems to lose some of my data so I end up backing everything up each time I use it.

Helpful guides and lovely integrations

Pros

Getting around the platform feels simple and whenever I run into something I'm unsure about, it's simple to find online guides that explain it. There are also plenty of integrations available which really helps with things like accounts payable, inventory and other related tasks.

Cons

No specific feature really stands out to me as a drawback. That said, it would definitely be better if the monthly price were lower while keeping the same set of features.

Complete back-office coverage

Pros

From bookkeeping to HR, payroll and even benefits, this platform covers pretty much the entire back office side of a business. It's an all-in-one system so everything you need is built in and supported in one place.

Cons

Getting started isn't especially user-friendly for new users. Because the platform allows so much customization, every setup can end up looking different and that makes it easy to create problems you may not notice until months or even years later.

Sends invoices

Pros

Using it day to day is pretty simple. I can check the exact date and time an invoice was viewed, send invoices directly from the platform and keep up with expenses without much hassle.

Cons

Broken invoicing, horrible support

Pros

At a glance, the interface is simple and makes it easy to see where my business stands. That would be a real plus, except the picture it gives ends up being misleading when clients are not receiving invoices to pay me and I am also missing out on new business because quotes are not being delivered either. I only just realized these had stopped going through.

Cons

Beyond that, pretty much everything else has been a problem, especially the support desk which has been completely useless. It is hard to accept spending an hour actively talking with helpdesk and still not getting anywhere near a solution, while every attempt they make to clarify the issue somehow misses the point. This was not an hour spent waiting in a queue either. It was an hour in an actual conversation, made even slower because they admitted they were handling several people at the same time. When the software fails to work and even their engineers cannot fix the problems, that is a huge red flag.

Great reputation

Pros

QuickBooks Online really feels like the industry standard for accounting software and I can see why. It has given our company the ability to handle accounting internally and generate financial reports that are ready to use for project reviews and quarterly meetings. The fact that our team can track their hours right from their devices has made time logging much more convenient and approvals are getting done on time for payroll. I also appreciate the visual expense charts since they give us a quick snapshot of our finances without having to dig through a huge amount of data just to pull out the important details.

Cons

Even though it offers a wide range of options, it still misses some features that are available in the desktop version. The customization choices are also somewhat limited although that has mostly been manageable for us because we rolled the system out gradually. The biggest drawback on our end was the initial need to enter information manually.

Keeps tax info organized

Pros

Handling payroll with it has worked really well for our company. It keeps payroll and tax information organized for our small business, even with different employee types and the direct deposit feature has been reliable too.

Cons

Several people can access reports

Pros

It is great for accounting, tax invoicing and other financial tasks. I used it while helping a friend manage a small business and it was pretty user-friendly overall. One thing that really helps is that several people can access reports and invoices which makes collaboration much more convenient.

Cons

paying around $20-30 per month just for basic invoicing, accounting and reporting can feel expensive, especially for startups and small business owners. On top of that, the payroll calculations are sometimes incorrect and that is a major flaw.

Everything visible at a glance

Pros

Having everything visible at a glance is a huge plus. I can tell within seconds where my companies stand and quickly spot what's working well and what needs attention.

Cons

The PayPal connection has been unreliable for some reason and when it glitches, it creates a mess with the transactions coming through PayPal.
