“Support is always there”

Pros

It lets me handle my own finances year-round instead of only dealing with everything once a year. I can keep up with spending, profits and losses and it records the bookkeeping side of my business so I don't need to hire extra help. It works on both desktop and mobile, it's simple to use and support is there whenever I need it.

Cons

The price is definitely higher than a lot of other options but judging by my rating, I still think it's worth paying for. I'd rather spend the money and know things are being handled properly than deal with tax issues or audits later on.

Pros

Using this version has been a really good experience. The automatic invoice generation is one of the best features and there's also a mobile app that lets you create quotations while you're out and about. On top of that, all your products and inventory are visible right on your phone.

Cons

Pricing goes up once the promotional period ends.

“Missing desktop tools”

Pros

Remote access is convenient since everyone can sign in from anywhere and at least for now it costs less.

Cons

Compared with Desktop, it just doesn't offer the same level of functionality. There's no Loan Manager which is frustrating, even though that has also been removed from the latest QuickBooks Desktop updates. Creating ad hoc reports or searching for things is not simple either.

The implementation was uncomplicated which makes it especially helpful for a startup.

There's a bit of a learning curve at first and I'd also prefer more customization options.

Pretty simple to use, it's affordable and just about everyone is familiar with it.

It doesn't handle job costing particularly well, especially for mid-sized to larger construction businesses.

it connects well with our bank and credit card accounts. Helps keep everything synced.

A frustrating part is receipt categorization because it doesn't recognize returns or refunds so those have to be entered manually.

It covers financial management really well, with useful automation, cloud access from anywhere and solid integrations with banks and other third-party apps.

The cost can feel high for small businesses and the interface isn't always user-friendly so it takes some time to get used to.

Honestly, there isn't much positive I can point to. The UI changes they roll out actually make the product harder to use instead of improving it.

This is consistently the worst software I have to deal with and that says a lot since I work in IT and understand core accounting principles well.

handling the initial setup was simple. The self-help section is useful and packed with plenty of information.

The entry-level plan does have limited features which can be restrictive at times but for the price it's still not too bad.

Running our business accounting through this tool has kept everything organized at one spot. A few things I really appreciate about it are that my accountant has full access to our books, I can quickly pull reports like the balance sheet and P&L and it makes comparing reports or overall performance across different time periods very convenient.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have any complaints about it. It really gives the best value for the money.

Being able to use this from any of my devices is a big plus. It also makes things convenient for our church staff since they can log in and access it whenever needed.

There are quite a few bugs that stop our credit card or bank account from syncing properly.

Right from the start, this has felt like a real gem. It lets you run your business the way you want, keep track of invoices to see who has already paid and get a clear understanding of all your transactions right away. There's no more hassle and reports can be generated in seconds.

I'm very impressed with how well it works and I haven't run into any cons.

Getting comfortable with the platform takes a lot more effort than it should these days and the customer support is really disappointing. A lot of the time, they just send you in circles without actually helping.

it feels very simple and it handles all the calculations in the background which makes doing my self-assessment really easy.

They've increased the pricing recently and for a very small business like mine, that's been hard to absorb.
