Pros
I really appreciate how user-friendly this platform is, our clients are thrilled with the easy online access thanks to the cloud-based setup. The accounting dashboard keeps things simple yet effective for our needs and bringing new clients onboard couldn't be smoother. Since I use it every day, I've found that connecting with other software through bank feeds or GL mapping works easily. The chat feature is fantastic and honestly, the customer support team is just awesome.
Cons
The software works well for smaller operations but once your business grows or you're managing multiple entities, you'll quickly outgrow its capabilities and need something more powerful.

Pros
Being able to handle my full-time job and my part-time work at the same time has been a huge benefit, thanks to the flexibility this gives me. I can take care of my part-time work from practically anywhere, even right from my phone.
Cons
The only problem I've run into with the online version is forgetting my login and needing to reset my password but even that hasn't been much of a hassle since it can send a PIN by text.

Once you learn how it works, it's a passable option.

From the start, the connection between my bank and the platform has been breaking every single day. Being forced to manually click an "Update" button instead of having it refresh automatically every hour or so feels ridiculous. The system is not user-friendly at all. If you expect to handle your books without a background in finance or business, think twice. Anyone starting with limited experience should be ready to spend hours and hours watching tutorial videos and basically teaching themselves how to do the work of a finance manager, bookkeeper or accountant. The customer support is unbelievably bad. I had scheduled a call with someone weeks in advance but when the time came, I got an email saying the appointment had been pushed back by another week. I replied to the representative and got no response. Then when that new appointment time arrived, nobody called. That was after getting multiple reminder emails and texts about it. I ended up calling the main support line myself and was transferred from person to person, often landing with the Payments Team, where one person even said, "I don't know why they would have transferred you to me." I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and was told I'd be waiting on hold for a long time. When I asked if someone could call me back later, I was told, "that's not how the process works." At this point, I plan to close my accounts and avoid using any Intuit services in the future.

Customer service can be inconsistent, while they get back to you quickly, I often have to explain my problem to several different people before getting it resolved.

I have found this amazing that how easy it is to begin accounting journal entries for new entities that need their own balance sheet. There's an impressive range of ready-to-use functionality right out of the box. The banking API connectivity is great and the connection to factoring accounts across North America works well. The pricing structure is really competitive for companies of all sizes and different use cases.
Cons
The accounting ledgers are tough to customize which can be frustrating. While the audit log with time and location tracking is helpful for monitoring contractors, I really wish there were pre-configured GAAP/IFRS forms available for audit and securities reporting, that would save so much time. The connectivity to resource tracking tools like inventory and fleet management isn't reliable either and I keep running into sync errors. Also, the instructions for per-project accounting could be clearer since it's easy to accidentally create duplicate partners in the system.
