Smooth setup and integrations

Pros

It was simple to set it up and it didn't take long to begin using it. The support team was incredible and connecting it with our other accounting platforms was very simple.

Cons

Coming from the desktop version after using it for many years, it took some time to adjust to the online format. There were also times during peak hours when the internet connection felt a little slow.

Everything at my fingertips

Pros

Navigating accounts and writing checks is right at my fingertips. My bank is synced with it too so everything I need is readily available.

Cons

At this point there really isn't anything I like least about it. There are also help topics available whenever I have questions.

Makes daily work manageable

Pros

Creating and sending invoices is really simple and it makes the day-to-day work a lot more manageable thanks to how well the invoice management works.

Cons

The integrations can feel a bit limited with some of the tools we rely on especially client portals and other client-facing software.

Worth the money

Pros

Running this for a very small LLC with no employees has been absolutely worth the cost. The value for the money is fantastic and the platform is very simple to use.

Cons

An adjustment has been how automated it is. My other business uses a system that needs much more manual entry so getting used to not having to do as much here took a little time even though that could be a big advantage for some people.

Simple but support falls short

Pros

The online version is fairly simple and it doesn't take long to learn. The only time it becomes frustrating is when the system gets random updates that don't really seem necessary.

Cons

Customer support has been incredibly disappointing. Every time I've called with a problem, I end up talking to someone who doesn't seem to know how to resolve it. It's even worse after those random updates since the techs seem limited by the changes and can't offer much of a workaround.

Superb system for recurring billing

Pros

Having recurring charges set up, sending invoices without any issues and keeping tabs on all my customers has been really helpful.

Cons

There do seem to be some glitches. At one point, it removed my authorization to charge a client's card but still marked it as paid which caused me to miss several months of that client's payment.

Helps track my time

Pros

Using it for time tracking and timesheets has been really helpful for reporting my hours to employers. Accountants can use the records to calculate payroll which makes the whole process practical especially when working remotely. Once I clock in, I don't have to keep checking on it and that's a really convenient setup.

Cons

Sometimes it reloads too slowly when I try to refresh it. The bell sound when clocking in and out is also very loud. Another issue is that if I accidentally submit something, I can't go back and correct my shift report after I've clocked out.

Jobber integration is a big plus

Pros

Having it work with Jobber has been really helpful. We handle all of our invoicing through Jobber so the way the data transfers over seamlessly is a big benefit.

Cons

Some parts of the platform are still confusing to use. Looking up transactions does not always feel very user-friendly and the price seems pretty high for what we actually get.

widely recognized platform

Pros

It's a widely recognized platform and one thing that works well is how many other software tools and banking institutions it connects with.

Cons

It feels far too complicated and it doesn't offer meaningful budgeting tools for real cash flow planning especially if you're looking for something like an every-dollar system.

Great ease of use

Pros

Right from the start, it feels very user-friendly. The details I need are available on the first page and additional items like tax documentation are also simple to locate.

Cons

I'd like to see a longer financial reporting timeline. I haven't been able to view my year-to-date total for 2025 without digging through the tax documentation and I'd rather have that be just as accessible as the current year figures.

Friendly dashboard

Pros

Working with clients on this platform has been a good experience overall. The dashboard feels user-friendly and simple even without any formal training so it's easy to get up to speed quickly. Automation is simple to set up and the built-in reporting covers what we need without having to add anything extra. Having mobile app access is also a big plus when working remotely or while traveling.

Cons

Bulk action functionality is limited. There isn't a way to edit or delete multiple transactions at the same time which can slow things down. It also occasionally mis-categorizes items so human QA is still needed to make sure everything stays accurate and the integration runs properly.

Generates solid reports

Pros

Reporting is really solid. It can produce essential reports like Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow within seconds which is really useful when working with CFOs or getting ready for audits.

Cons

The part I liked least is the limited customization along with the occasional slowdown. Even though the platform is user-friendly, it can feel a bit restrictive when trying to adapt reports or workflows for more complex business requirements especially when managing multiple entities. On top of that, performance can dip as data volume increases which affects efficiency during heavier tasks such as reconciliations and reporting. Some of the more advanced tools are also locked behind higher-tier plans which adds to the overall cost. In the end, it handles basic accounting well but it is less flexible and harder to scale in more complex financial and operational settings.

Best value for money

Pros

Compared with other accounting programs, this one delivers the best value for the money. It fits small to mid-sized businesses really well especially if they do not want the hassle of maintaining hardware on site. The customer support is excellent and always seems to be available when needed. It's also very simple to use and there are plenty of online resources that help guide users through the system. From invoicing to financial reporting, it comes with a wide range of very useful features.

Cons

Because it is an online solution it does come with some limitations. The biggest issue is that if internet connectivity is lost, access to the system can be lost as well.

The dashboard is practical and user-friendly and pretty much everything I need during the workday is right there on the front page.

Cons

Pulling reports into a spreadsheet with exactly the data I want can take some time to figure out. I'm improving with it but it still isn't always immediately clear.

Well-established name

Pros

Using the online version of the well-established QuickBooks has been pretty simple. It's simple to work with and the system makes year-end reporting much easier to complete.

Helps handle taxes

Pros

Running my business and handling taxes has become much more manageable with this. I no longer have the headache of trying to keep up with invoices and expenses.

Cons

Every now and then the app gets a little buggy and may freeze but overall it's not a major problem.

Works for companies of all sizes

Pros

It has been a fantastic resource for our business and it works really well for companies of all sizes. The bookkeeping, invoicing and financial reporting tools are very simple to use and they make year-end tasks feel smooth and much more manageable.

Cons

Frequent updates can get annoying. Just when we get used to the current setup, the format seems to change again pretty quickly.

Offers a variety of integrations

Pros

Something that really works well is how many integrations it offers, plus the search bar makes navigating everything much simpler. Sending invoices, paying bills, printing checks and even getting help from customer support have all been very convenient.

Cons

There are still quite a few features I'm learning and it definitely takes some training before you can use the platform efficiently.

No accounting background needed

Pros

Putting together a profit and loss statement is very simple with this software even if you don't have any accounting background at all.

Cons

The dashboard and interface keep changing. I wish it would stay the same because those updates can make it harder to find tabs you're used to using.
