“Eliminated paperwork”
Pros
Running a small business, I used to keep all my accounts on pen and paper because I didn't trust other methods much. Every month, it would take me 4 to 5 days just to sort out expenses and invoices manually. A friend recommended this software and since switching, I haven't gone back. It took me about a month to get properly trained on it but it has been worth it. Now I manage all my accounts by myself with much more confidence and in far less time.
Cons
I haven't run into any real drawbacks. I'm still learning and exploring the system so maybe I'll notice something later on.

Pros
Keeping up with our finances became much more manageable with it. It helped us stay on top of income and expenses, manage restricted funds and create clear financial reports for board members and stakeholders. Because it's cloud-based, multiple team members could work in the system at the same time which made collaboration with our bookkeepers and accountants especially useful. We also valued being able to categorize donations, monitor grants and quickly pull year-end reports for audits and budgeting. Overall, it simplified our financial processes and gave us better transparency.
Cons
It couldn't integrate with our Vanguard accounts consistently or reliably so tracking investments and reconciling balances ended up being more manual and time-consuming. Some nonprofit-specific reports also took workarounds to get what we needed and certain tools felt designed more for businesses than for nonprofits. On top of that, the subscription price can climb once add-ons are included which makes it a bit less practical for smaller organizations working with tight budgets.

“Allows me to manage business remotely”
Pros
Having multiple users on the system is a big plus and not being stuck at the office computer makes a real difference. I can check things from anywhere which helps a lot with managing the business remotely.
Cons
At times it loads a bit slowly. Setting up new GL accounts can also be tricky and writing checks remotely is hard as well.

At least it saves my username and password so getting signed in doesn't take much time.
Cons
It really feels like Intuit misses what small businesses actually need especially when it comes to deduction tracking. I spent more than an hour and a half with customer support only to find out there's no way to generate a report showing just business miles even though the system tracks them. My accountant has no use for my personal trips so I'm stuck exporting every trip to Excel and manually removing the personal mileage.

Payroll gets done in no time with this. We can process checks for all 8 people at the firm in under an hour.
Cons

Pros
Having the financial reports and the overall business picture together in one place is really helpful. It also works well that my CPA, my bookkeeper and I can all manage the books remotely.
Cons
it keeps getting more expensive over time. The upgrades also aren't especially user-friendly and reaching customer support can be a bit difficult.

It's very simple to use and works well for different levels of administrative tasks. After the budgets and reports are set up, everything operates efficiently.
Cons
As a nonprofit the initial setup wasn't especially easy for our organization since the system seems more designed around a corporate structure. Things like the terminology, such as customer versus donor, took some adjusting but we've been able to make it work.

Whenever I've reached out with a question or problem, the online support has been outstanding. The software is user-friendly and the pricing feels fair for what you get.
Cons
Navigation can be tricky at times and it would help if they offered more webinars showing users how to find and access the reports that are available or needed.

It has been a really solid fit for our small business. We're able to send invoices to customers, keep all of their contact information organized and handle everything in one place. It's also pretty simple to use which makes day-to-day tasks a lot easier.
Cons
We don’t like the updates. I really wish they would stop changing the home screen so often and just leave alone the parts that already work fine.

There's a lot you can handle with it and that variety is a big plus. It gives a small business one place to keep all the financial pieces together which makes staying organized much easier.
Cons

Any time I reached out, the customer service was great. I don't remember her name but I was even helped by the same person each time which made the experience feel consistent and personal.
Cons
The pricing is the tough part. Their rates went up and that made it harder to afford. Even though the product is really good, it felt like they were trying to charge as much as possible.

Cons
I wouldn't recommend it to any business at all. It's only suitable as a desktop product and if remote access matters, Enterprise is the better option to buy.

Running a new business felt a lot more manageable with this software especially for invoicing clients and pulling together financial reports for tax time. It works really well for those tasks and is also user-friendly for administrators which makes day-to-day use much less stressful.
Cons

This worked out perfectly for keeping all my transactions organized. I was able to create custom categories, clearly separate cards and bank accounts and the system pulled in my information very quickly.
Cons
I ended up hiring freelancers to walk me through the basic steps and explain how to use the platform.

Pros
From the start this software has been really useful for sending invoices and collecting payments without much hassle. There were a few bugs and some issues early on but they usually fixed them pretty fast. It's very user-friendly, simple to train people on and works well as an all-in-one place for invoicing, payments, financial reporting and bookkeeping.
Cons
It's not always easy to reach someone who actually understands the problem. Credit card processing fees are also higher than with some other programs but considering how much it handles in one system, it still feels like a good value overall.
