The platform is easy to manage and makes sense for clients, even when they do not have an accounting background. They can also check their bookkeeping whenever they need to which is really helpful.
Cons

“Much simpler than the desktop version”

Switching our finance workflow to this platform has really changed how we handle things. It's very user-friendly and one thing I especially appreciate is how much more simplified it feels compared to the desktop version. If you've worked with the desktop product before, getting familiar with this one is very quick. Having a single place where we can organize all our bills and pay them directly on the website has been a huge advantage for us since we no longer need to jump between different applications to get it done. Just having that process handled in one system saves us a lot of time. Another feature I really value is being able to manage all of our taxes inside the platform and whenever we've had tax-related questions, their customer support has been available to help which has been excellent. On top of that, it connects with a wide range of apps which makes everything much more convenient because we can get tasks done efficiently and keep our data synchronized without issues.
Cons
The biggest thing I would change is the pricing. Even though the platform comes with a lot of strong features across its different plans, it still feels quite expensive and the plans aren't customizable enough for what we actually need. I'd really like to see more flexibility in the pricing options so they can better match our budget. Other than that, there are times when the data takes a while to load when first opening the platform. It has happened fairly often and it can be frustrating, even though I still think it's a very solid program overall.

It's been dependable and getting used to it didn't take long, especially with past experience using QuickBooks. There are a few differences compared to earlier versions but once you understand how they work, it's not hard to adjust.
Cons
It does miss some features from the standard version although it still handled most of what we needed without much trouble. In certain situations, we'd also rather keep the data stored locally which is something we preferred with the standard edition.

There's really nothing positive I can say since I've been locked out of my account. If there were an option to give 0 stars, that's exactly what I'd choose.
Cons
After our credit card was canceled, I tried to update QuickBooks with the new one but their system wouldn't accept it. I was told the issue was on their side and that they were working to fix it but nothing ever changed. Instead, they suspended my account and now I can't access it at all.

Running my small sewing business became a lot more manageable with this. I absolutely loved using it because it helped me stay on top of the money coming in and what I was spending on supplies. It also made it easier to set money aside for taxes at the end of the year which was a big help. Another part I really enjoyed was the inventory tracking, plus creating estimates and invoices was very simple and convenient.
Cons
Every now and then, the online version had connection problems and there were times when logging into my account was frustrating.

It has been an excellent accounting and invoicing tool for us. It gives you plenty of ways to set up and organize your business based on the type of model you run. The invoicing side is simple, works well and our clients seem to really appreciate the format.
Cons
Job tracking frustrates me. Even though the individual components exist, it just doesn't work in a way that lets us fully follow a project's financials from beginning to end. On top of that, the pricing seems to keep increasing for current subscribers likely because they know switching away from established accounting software is a major hassle.

Pretty much every accountant already knows it which makes collaboration a lot simpler. The interface is functional and does what it needs to do and the wide range of integrations you can connect is definitely a big help.
Cons
The connected app APIs seem to break down all the time which usually means I have to go back to the client and ask them to reconnect everything. It's especially frustrating with e-commerce because it doesn't always pull in every revenue transaction, Shopify fee and similar details so I end up having to post manual journal entries to fix the numbers. On top of that, it's not very user-friendly when trying to clearly compare cash versus accrual views.

Bank feeds are definitely the standout feature. Once you connect your bank accounts, transactions download automatically into the account which saves a lot of manual work. The rules feature is also really useful because it can automatically identify and categorize downloaded transactions for you.
Cons
The import and export tools could be much better. I recently had to move customers and products into a new company and QuickBooks account and the data did not import properly. I had to go into a spreadsheet, adjust the files and fix the formatting just to get everything mapped into the right fields. I expected the software to handle that process better.

Compared with every other accounting platform I've used, this one has the strongest set of online accounting tools. It cuts down financial mistakes by automating more than 85% of the repetitive manual accounting work.
