Using this app keeps bookkeeping simple and takes a lot less time than doing everything manually.

Cons

The tax section is a bit harder to deal with since those payments still have to be handled outside of QuickBooks.

There are times when the integrations do not work correctly and it can show a balance due even when nothing is actually owed.

it is basically the default choice for small business bookkeeping and it connects well with a lot of other tools and products.

The frustrating part is how often they roll out pointless updates that end up breaking things. Workflows keep getting changed, the interface keeps shifting and it never seems to be an improvement.

Every now and then, the app would freeze but that was really the only issue.

Great how many platforms it connects with which makes integrations pretty convenient.

the software feels bloated and far more complicated than it should be, especially for something so many small business owners depend on. It almost feels like you're required to bring in an expert just to get it set up properly and keep it running. That's neither practical nor welcoming for someone who is just starting out with a new small business.

For the most part, the platform is simple to use and it makes it convenient for us to send invoices and collect payments from customers.

Cons

constant visual changes to the site bother me, especially when they don't seem necessary. A recent example was the update to a more modern design which completely changed the layout of the invoicing screen and made it much harder to move around and make sure all the required information is entered correctly. There's also no option to switch back to the previous layout so you're forced to deal with the new version which is incredibly frustrating. It feels like every time you finally adjust to one change, another one happens without any notice and you end up having to relearn the system all over again. In my job, I simply don't have time to keep relearning software that is supposed to be simple to use. Very frustrating.

Even though the platform is user-friendly, certain features still take some time to learn, especially if you're moving over from manual bookkeeping.

this software is very accessible to use. It works really well for accounting and if you're self-employed or running a business, it helps you keep track of the money coming in along with all of your expenses.

Getting around the system does not always feel user-friendly, especially when you are new to it. It takes a bit of training before you feel fully confident that you are handling tasks and operations correctly.

My only real complaint is the price. It would be even better and more accessible if it were a bit more affordable, especially since it can do so much.
