Being able to get to my information from anywhere in the world, as long as I have an internet connection, is a big advantage.
Cons
It's surprising that this survey doesn't require a rating for customer service because that's one of the biggest things people consider with any software. The program has handled what our business needs it to do but when it comes to support, especially if you need to talk to a real person, it's frustrating. The verification process takes far too long and most of the representatives don't seem to have either the knowledge or the authority to actually solve the problem.

Once the initial setup is done, using it feels very simple. Being able to add your accountant and give them access is probably my favorite part because it makes tax season feel almost effortless.

Pros
After a year of using Unleashed, I heard about QuickBooks eCommerce and it turned out to be exactly what I had been looking for. There were a few minor bumps along the way but overall I've felt really positive about it and can see a lot of care behind the product. I tried it quickly to explore the scope of the system for a potential financial year change and I ended up deciding to implement it almost immediately within a matter of hours.
Cons
Some features seem to get moved around as a result of upgrades which can make them harder to locate. That said, the team has been very responsive to the constructive feedback I've shared and they seem genuinely interested in continuing to improve the system.

Pros
Using this platform has been very convenient and the fact that it is cloud-based means I can get to it from anywhere. Sending invoices to clients and receiving payments electronically is also incredibly simple.
Cons
It has been working exactly the way we want so I really do not have any complaints after more than two years of using it. The support team has also been excellent and the pricing offers very good value for the money.

Very easy to use. It's user friendly and there are plenty of online tutorials available whenever questions come up.
Cons
I'm not a fan of reporting. We include several project reports in our end-of-month reporting and the system limits how many reports can be pulled which ends up splitting our reporting.

Pros
This platform feels very user-friendly and simple to manage. One thing I appreciate is that they offer a subscription option with training so you can really learn the system and make full use of all the features available. Their support team has also been excellent, knowledgeable, approachable and careful to walk you through the steps so you understand what needs to be done and can get problems resolved.
Cons
There have been a handful of issues we still haven't been able to fully fix, along with a few user-related errors that really should be corrected. The main problems have involved reconciliation balance discrepancies and incorrect employee withholding amounts. Aside from those concerns, there honestly isn't much else I dislike about it.

We find it easy to understand and the interface feels user-friendly right away. Even as a small business owner without much accounting experience, I was able to set it up quickly and begin using it without any hassle. After spending a little time learning how the software works, it becomes fairly simple to use. Getting my bookkeeper added as part of the team was also very simple which made it possible for them to jump in and start helping me reconcile expenses right away.
Cons

Pros
Switching over from our homemade Excel-based accounting setup went fairly well, especially with help from an expert during the transition. She also connected autopay through ConnectBooster and our auto task ticketing system. Since the ticketing side feeds directly into QuickBooks Online, month-end invoicing has become dramatically simpler. With all three tools integrated, the automation has cut our invoicing process from a full week down to literally about 30 minutes a month. After that, it's just a quick QC review and invoicing is done. Clients also really value the accuracy and the convenience of paying directly by ACH, credit card or check.
Cons
Customer support could definitely be better. On the few times I needed to call, I didn't get a clear or timely solution. I'm not sure whether that came down to dealing with minimally trained support reps but that was my impression. It would make a huge difference to have the ability to request escalation to a Tier 2 or Tier 3 engineer who can identify the problem quickly and move straight toward a resolution.

One of the biggest advantages is how widely recognized it is among accountants and businesses. I had been using Wave before but I moved over to QuickBooks because I couldn't find a specialist who was willing to support me with Wave.
Cons
There is no live phone support on weekends. Business owners don't stop working just because it's Saturday or Sunday so weekend live support really matters. ADP offers phone support 7 days a week and I wish QuickBooks provided the same.

it does a nice job of linking our processes together which cuts down a lot of the back-and-forth involved with invoicing.
Cons
The biggest frustration has been the migration. We were told moving from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to Online would be the newer, better option but once we fully committed to the switch, both our team and our QB Advisor saw how restricted QuickBooks Online really is. Many of the processes and customizations we depended on are now heavily limited. Getting reports for individual products is also much harder than it was before. On Desktop, that part felt much more simple. This was not just a normal learning curve, it felt more like having to completely relearn how to operate the business.

After trying other options, including Accounting Suite, this one feels much more user-friendly and polished. It's simple to learn whether you're just starting out or already have more advanced accounting experience. Whenever questions come up, there's usually plenty of online support available although most of the time the software is simple enough to figure out without much trouble.
Cons
There's honestly very little to complain about. Some of the add-ons could feel pricey to certain users but there are still basic plans available that work well within the budget of most small business owners.
