“Terrible time tracking”

Pros

It does a decent job of handling some of the bookkeeping automatically. The reporting tools are useful too and they make it a bit simpler to stay on top of the finances.

Cons

The date handling is a real problem. If I change the date on an estimate, it carries over to the invoices and if I miss it, my clients end up receiving overdue invoices. The time tracking app is also terrible.

“Responsive support team”

Pros

Whenever I need help, customer service gets back to me quickly. I also really appreciate the live callback option since the response time has been very fast.

Cons

Payroll side has been frustrating. It won't let me set up automatic wage garnishment from net pay the way the CRA requires and I'm also unable to adjust T4s for Box 66.

“clear pricing”

Pros

Getting started with it feels very easy and it doesn't take long to learn how everything works. The pricing is also fairly simple which makes it easier to know what you're paying for. On top of that, the expert support is really helpful although it does come with an additional cost.

Cons

Without paying extra for the expert support, there really isn't much available to help beyond the documentation and I haven't found those resources especially useful.

The customer support has been amazing and I really appreciate how user-friendly the platform is along with the automation features it offers.

Cons

The part I like least is probably the pricing structure especially when I compare it with other online accounting software I've used.

A few parts of it have been genuinely useful especially the mileage tracker, the improved reporting and the vendor tracking features.

Cons

The biggest frustrations have been the slow load times, the frequent price hikes and the Square integration. Rather than making the platform better, they kept adding unnecessary features and that ended up throwing off my books.

It connects well with our Jobber dispatch software and it really helps keep our books tidy and organized at the end of the year.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints. We're happy with everything it does and it handles everything we need, QuickBooks has been awesome for us.

This program has been really helpful for our company because it lets us log in remotely and handle what needs to get done without any hassle.

Cons

The cost runs a bit high and it also limits how many passwords or user logins people from the same company can have.

There's a lot of flexibility in how it can be customized and the reporting options are extensive. We rely on it every day for all of our accounting tasks and it's very user-friendly to work with.

Cons

It is on the expensive side and some features can be unreliable when new AI or other tech updates are introduced. That said, it works well for small businesses.

Pros

Getting comfortable with the platform doesn't take long and it's simple to use efficiently once you're in it. The general ledger is nicely detailed and the reports are simple to customize which I really appreciate.

Cons

They recently changed the software's interface. The Accountant version still has the older layout which I actually prefer because it feels much more direct and simple than the newer look clients now see.

Using it has been a pleasure thanks to how user-friendly it is, the strong functionality and the overall stability of the software. Pulling financial reports in just two clicks is something I really appreciate too.

Cons

Every now and then it crashes though it doesn't happen very often. The integration with Jobber has also been a bit challenging and I wish that process had been more seamless.

Switching from the desktop version to QuickBooks Online has been a total game changer for our company. It's noticeably more user-friendly and it comes with so many more features than what we had before.

there's nothing about it that I haven't liked. It's been a much-needed upgrade for our company.

Running a very small team with limited resources, we've had really good results with QBO. It's an affordable option that helps us stay on top of several important tasks, including bookkeeping, invoicing and reporting.

The bill pay feature came with an additional fee and we weren't interested in paying extra for the premium add-on.

The software feels very familiar if you're used to Microsoft products. It works a lot like other MS tools so the layout is user-friendly and comfortable to navigate.

File sharing can be a bit of a hassle and sometimes certain users need to log out before updates can be made to shared files.

Getting around this software felt very natural even without any business or accounting background. I was able to teach myself how to enter the accounting information and the search tools helped me figure out how to build the financial reports our board asks for.

initial setup was a bit tricky. Since I'm the director of an organization that falls under a parent organization, it took nearly two months before I was finally able to get access.

“Wide range of features”

Pros

We've been using it for our company for years and it has really helped with putting together estimates, sending them out and turning them into invoices. The feature set is strong and the AI integration is genuinely useful. It's nice having everything for the business in one place and it's also a name people trust in the construction industry.

Cons

The pricing feels like it could be more reasonable and having to pay for required add-ons is frustrating. The app can also be glitchy at times.

The best part is how simple it is to use. The guides, customer support and clear, simple features make it a really good fit for just about any user.

Cons

One thing to keep in mind is that it is not always available in certain currencies especially in some Asian countries so it's worth checking that in advance.

Easy to set up and the menu along with the dashboard is simple to move around. Connecting with third-party apps is basically a one-click process and the reporting tools are really solid and clear to understand.

Cons

Connecting it with international applications is not very simple. At times, adjusting to a new expense can feel a bit overwhelming and the bank connection tends to disconnect every six months.

Pros

Having every accounting tool I need right at my fingertips has been a huge plus. I can check balances, run reports, see whether checks have cleared and handle everything without much hassle. Another thing I really appreciate is that it's paperless and cloud-based so everything is stored online and accessible when I need it.

Cons

It's not always simple to locate what I need. There have been times when I've had to search through the help resources or even Google just to figure out how to navigate certain parts of the program.

“Budgeting and invoicing done right”

Running my business feels a lot more organized with this because I can track expenses and build a budget without any hassle. It really helps keep my finances in check and on the right path.

Cons

I'd absolutely recommend it to other business owners. It's very user-friendly and the invoicing feature is easily one of my favorite parts.

Working with it feels very simple especially when I'm away from the office and still need to get things done.

It is more powerful than QuickBooks Desktop but the main screen does feel a bit too crowded.
