“Perfect for new AP clerks
Pros
What I appreciate most is how user-friendly and easy the interface is, as someone just starting out as an AP clerk, I can easily find my way around and complete tasks without feeling overwhelmed.
Cons
Sometimes I get annoyed when the system lags, for instance, there are occasions where I have to hit save and then refresh the entire page before I can finally submit a bill for approval which slows me down.

We find the software incredibly easy to use and its integrations work flawlessly which has let our team grow capacity without increasing headcount.
Cons
My only frustration is the lack of a dedicated mobile app and an employee expense management platform which would really make the solution more complete for everyday use.

“does what it suppose to do
Pros
Tipalti is very user-friendly and easy for approvers to work with, it even shows me whether a vendor's status is open, paid or something else. It's simple to navigate so I can quickly check what stage an invoice is at. It also flags duplicate invoices reliably. Vendors can upload their statements directly into Tipalti which makes verification easy and we keep those monthly records on file. Running reports is painless and I use them to manage accruals and review GL coding at month-end.
Cons
We don't have a native KPI report in Tipalti but the team and I worked with the platform to build one so I can track my team's progress and I am actually happy with how that turned out. Every so often payments are rejected for reasons that aren't obvious but when that happens we contact support and they're accommodating and helpful. I also wish there was an upload tool, processing GrubHub entries requires up to thirty GL codes and we have to key them in manually. There's no way to copy an account when it should be the same which adds repetitive work.

“Love the smart ocr features
Pros
I am thrilled by Tipalti's OCR scanning, it really impresses me. The smart features are top-notch as well. After I upload invoices to the Tipalti Hub, I hardly have to type anything anymore. Because it remembers past entries and auto-fills the fields, I am mostly just reviewing invoices now instead of spending hours on manual data entry. I'd definitely suggest Tipalti to any business in need of reliable OCR scanning capabilities.
Cons
For my setup, I wish Tipalti offered more customization options to better align with our existing systems. Even so, the platform has cut down the time I spend on entering data dramatically and overall it has been a huge time-saver for our team.

“Love the smooth payment flow
Pros
I use Tipalti to forward contractor invoices to accounting and the whole process feels much more streamlined with Tipalti. I really appreciate that contractors can create accounts fast and they're thrilled to get payments deposited straight into their accounts instead of waiting on a paper check now.
Cons
Most of our contractors tell me that Tipalti's emails end up in their junk or trash folders instead of the business inbox they set up. If the onboarding process included a tip to whitelist Tipalti or add it to their safe-senders list, I believe we could avoid many missed payment alerts.

Pros
When I log in, any pending reviews I have are saved automatically and I don't have to worry about losing my progress.
Cons
However when I try to update details such as my email, mailing address or phone number, the system doesn't let me make those changes.

“Easy and convenient to use

the interface is really user-friendly and it's simple to get things done. Because it's cloud-based I don't have to install anything or worry about local storage and multiple people can access it remotely. I am grateful for Tipalti.
Cons
I get automatically logged out after just two minutes of inactivity which is frustrating, I'd prefer an auto-logout timeout of at least half an hour, ideally an hour. Also, there's no way for me to pull a report showing how many and how much of the invoices Tipalti paid for a specific vendor in a given year and that reporting gap makes tracking payments harder.

Pros
Setting it up was simple and I found it easy to configure, access and process payments. I also like the security aspects, having a PIN on my phone gives me peace of mind so I don't have to constantly worry about a breach.
Cons
To be honest, I haven't come across anything about Tipalti that bothers me. From where I stand, it truly delivers on what we require from it.

“A great tool to make multiple payments.
Pros
Over the past three months, I have been using Tipalti. Its easy to maintain and has let me pay hundreds of new contractors who are spread out around the globe, giving them the option to choose from a variety of payment methods for a fair price. I like that contractors may set up their own accounts by providing personal, financial, and tax information. I can then personalize the app so that they receive updates about the status of their payments. One of the most useful features for me is the invoice tool, which has helped me simplify the procedure.
Cons
The only issues I have are that fee contractors are required to sign in and register on the platform multiple times before they are successful, and that the system does not stop them from uploading the same invoice more than once. Customer support assists me in this, but I would like to have the ability to establish contractors in large quantities. There are some aspects that I would like to be able to control myself and not be so dependent on the whole customer support system for every little thing. Other than that, there is nothing wrong with the software.

Tipalti takes our invoice processing up a notch by keeping invoice workflows orderly and well-managed. It integrates seamlessly with our ERP Netsuite and they work together very smoothly.
Cons
I wish it offered the option to attach physical documents like W9s directly on vendor profiles. Having those files stored in Tipalti would spare me from having to upload them into our ERP.

Pros
Tipalti really simplifies paying all of my bills from a single spot. I can easily look up past invoices when needed, too. The whole workflow feels clear, easy and user-friendly.
Cons
there aren't many negatives to mention. I do get an email for every single bill that lands in my queue which can feel a bit overwhelming at times but it does help make sure none of the bills slip through the cracks.

I find Tipalti streamlines our AP workflow extremely well and it's easy to pick up and operate. Tipalti keeps rolling out new features and improvements which I appreciate. The team at Tipalti is consistently helpful and quick to respond too.
Cons
In my experience Tipalti is very willing to address any issues we raise so I don't really have major complaints. That said I sometimes run into difficulty getting vendors to complete onboarding on the payment portal.

Pros
There is a lot to appreciate in Tipalti, from the regular updates to the helpful support staff. For me it's a genuinely comprehensive platform for organizations aiming to streamline and better organize their financial operations.
Cons
Honestly I wouldn't say I dislike anything about it since I truly cannot think of any real negatives. One feature I'd love to see added is the ability to export a payee list filtered by categories or by payment terms because that would be incredibly useful.
