This product is quite intuitive to use; it places the responsibility on suppliers to ensure accurate details, incentivized by their desire for prompt payment. Moreover, its supplier screening enhances our control environment, while the internal digital invoice approval process strengthens budget accountability. Its seamless integration with NetSuite, our primary record-keeping system, is crucial.

Cons

The dashboard feels outdated and could use a refresh. I would also like features for managing staff expenses and credit cards.

One frustration is the inability to notify an approver when an approval claim is rejected. It would be beneficial to include invoices in a pending payment order for easier tracking by customers.

The flexibility of CSV-based payment files is exceptional. We can seamlessly format royalty payments from our royalty software to match the payment file requirements. What used to take weeks for quarterly royalty processes now takes hours, resulting in significantly higher customer satisfaction.

Cons

Improvements like having a payee list directly accessible in the payee area instead of requiring CSV exports would be beneficial. It would also be useful to have a 'issue single payment' button for quick payments a couple of feature enhancements that would elevate the software's usability.

the main drawbacks are that there's no dedicated mobile app and it doesn't send payment reminders tied to due dates.

Tipalti is really well organized and I appreciate that I can download reports whenever I need them.

It would be helpful if I got an alert when a payee cannot be paid.

Pros

With Tipalti, I am able to make managers take responsibility for approving spending within their own departments which helps keep departmental budgets and approvals clearer and more accountable, additionally, I can cc myself on certain automated notifications such as the Tipalti registration invitation and the TIN validation failure email so that I am alerted whenever there could be an issue with a supplier's registration and can quickly step in to offer assistance.

Cons

One drawback I have noticed is that Tipalti doesn't take care of processing and sending out 1099s at year-end for our vendors. Because all of the payments and vendor information live here but don't automatically flow into QuickBooks for 1099 reporting, I am left having to manually mark each supplier who will need a 1099 when the year closes.

I find Tipalti really user-friendly and easy to use. It's simple to pull up remittance or payment proof and the interface is easy enough that I can quickly understand it and explain it to others which has boosted satisfaction within our internal management.

Cons

We need the ability to attach extra documentation like email approvals or additional receipts so there's a clear audit trail for external reviewers. Also, Tipalti signs me out far too fast, it would be much better if the idle timeout was extended so I don't get logged out so quickly.

“Easy approvals and big time savings

Pros

We really appreciate that staff can approve invoices via email. We also like the supplier portal and haven't heard any complaints from our vendors. The system has cut down on both time and costs for us and following the initial set-up it has been fairly easy to use, with only a small learning curve. There are many great things about this software.

Cons

At first the setup was somewhat tricky but we worked through the issues and everything turned out fine.
