“Everything in one place

Pros

I really appreciate that all of our accounting tabs are consolidated into a single platform, that each invoice includes a detailed audit trail and that I can filter the workload by AP rep name.

Cons

Every so often the system bogs down and becomes sluggish, it does slow things for us although we are admittedly pushing a large volume of work through the platform.

Pros

What I like is that it keeps all of our accounts payable centralized in one place so I am not stuck typing invoices by hand anymore. It's simple to either forward invoices to Tipalti or just scan them in.

Cons

I'd really like Tipalti to speed up payments for invoices that arrive late, the turnaround feels slow because it can take several days from when an invoice is approved until our vendors actually receive a check which is frustrating.

“Great support during setup

Pros

I have been really pleased with how quickly they respond and with all the guidance they've provided while we're getting everything set up.

Cons

At this stage I don't have any complaints about Tipalti because it's still early days for us, we're currently focused on completing the setup.

I'd really like the ability to call our client manager directly, in my experience, a quick five-minute phone conversation often prevents a lot of needless back-and-forth email exchanges and resolves issues much faster.

I find the platform really easy to navigate and use. Above all, the customer support is exceptional and consistently responsive whenever I have any questions or concerns.

For the most part, I like it completely. There is quite a bit of material to read before I can find my way around confidently though I recognize the platform is inherently complex.

Honestly I have found the AI tool skims invoices extremely quickly and handling payments through Tipalti saves me a ton of time.

I still notice the FX charges are pretty steep when I make international transfers.

Occasionally, I run into timeout issues and at times the system fails to display the correct payee account when I am searching.

From persistent login challenges to its unintuitive UI, my experience with Tipalti has been exceedingly frustrating. I was compelled to use it by some paying companies, but I believe there are superior alternatives in this space.

I cannot change the expense account once I have already submitted an invoice which causes extra manual fixes for me.
