Pros
I find the approval workflow very simple and my overall experience moving through the app is completely smooth.
Cons
Having SMS alerts would be really helpful because I often overlook approval notices that arrive only in my email inbox, causing delays.

“Easy and efficient payment platform
Pros
What I appreciate is how user-friendly it is, loading payees and processing payments is simple and fast. When I fund Tipalti, the money clears the same day so I can confidently recommend their service.
Cons
One drawback I have noticed is that payments aren't instant since it's geared toward payroll, I have to wait two to three business days for funds to settle. That means I need to plan cash flow carefully and keep the team informed.

Pros
What I appreciate is that it consolidates all of our payments into one streamlined approval flow and vendors can choose the payment method they prefer.
Cons
I'd like to see a reverse wire feature so we could reverse or reroute transfers when necessary.

I am really impressed by how quick and easy the system is to navigate overall, it's very easy for me to find what I need.
Cons

Cons

I find the reporting features really useful and I can easily download all invoices, payments and related documents. The email alerts for remittances and payment rejections save me a ton of manual follow-up.
Cons
Occasionally I run into synchronization glitches where certain invoices or payments fail to appear. I end up contacting Tipalti Support to have it fixed and in my experience most problems get resolved quickly.

“Huge time-saver for ap
Pros
Tipalti cuts the payable team's AP workload dramatically especially if you haven't adopted an AP automation tool yet. In my small-company setup I am able to breeze through AP processing and turn my attention to other close-of-period tasks. Invoices are auto-captured and a large portion of the data entry is handled for me. The pricing feels competitive compared with similar solutions. Support responds quickly and helps clear up whatever issues come up though I haven't run into many. The rollout was smooth and painless and it integrates very well with NetSuite.
Cons
It's not free. I also wish they offered built-in trending analytics for our spend since they don't provide any out-of-the-box spend trend reports.

“top compliance and integration support
Pros
We began using Tipalti mainly to handle tax form collection so we could stay compliant and it's worked well for that. We're also big fans of how it links into our accounting stack, we started with QuickBooks Online and have since moved to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. The help we got during both implementations, plus the ongoing support afterwards, has been consistently excellent.
Cons
Personally, the only real drawback I have experienced with Tipalti is that it doesn't support handling prepayment invoices for inventory purchases in our ERP, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central so we cannot use it for that specific workflow.

“Great automation for global ap
Pros
I really like that the platform automates so many accounts-payable tasks, from uploading and categorizing invoices to routing approvals and handling payments. Another big advantage I notice is being able to pay suppliers across borders since the platform handles multiple currencies which simplifies a lot for our global operations. I also have vendors input all of their banking details themselves which reduces both errors and time spent. Their customer support is excellent and they respond to me promptly whenever I need help.
Cons
Every so often, I run into glitches in the system although I don't encounter them very often.

“Great sage intacct integration
Pros
In my experience Tipalti syncs seamlessly with Sage Intacct. I have set up unlimited approvers at no extra cost. They don't have to sign in, they simply watch for approval emails. The OCR and automatic coding features perform very reliably for me.
Cons
I dislike having to keep the account funded. Also, reconciliation reports cannot be run by accrual date.

With Tipalti, all of my subcontractors and vendors can submit their invoices directly through Tipalti's portal.
Cons
I did notice, however, that getting all the CLINs and SLINs configured correctly takes a fair amount of time at first.

I am really impressed by how simple it is to move around the program. The AP features, like automatic invoice detection and pre-filling invoice line items, make invoice processing much quicker. I rely on Tipalti every day for my workflow. Their support team is excellent, quick to reply and consistently helpful.
Cons
I'd appreciate being able to see an invoice preview just by hovering over its number, rather than having to open it every time.
