Ever since my university started using TravelBank, getting reimbursed for expenses has become much easier and faster. I just fill in a few pre-set fields, upload my receipt in PDF, JPG, or PNG format and hit submit. Once it is approved, my money is on its way. Its a significant improvement over submitting paper forms.

Cons

I have not faced any problems with using TravelBank.

I really enjoyed the functionality of booking flights through TravelBank, receiving consistent notifications about travel plan changes, and the support we received from our official contact.

The approval process for per diem and other costs can be complicated within our system. There are different ways to select categories which can be confusing for someone new to the system. Additionally, on the home screen, it would be helpful if the reimbursement items were displayed horizontally instead of vertically. This way, scrolling down for additional options would not be overlooked.

The mobile upload feature and pre-scan feature are fantastic. I can easily upload my receipts as I receive them, and the system matches them with transactions, saving me time and effort.

TravelBank is surprisingly a lot user friendly then I expected. I like how easy it is to download reports and upload receipts. The implementation process was smooth and I like that each expense is handled individually from my bank account.

Cons

It would be great if all admins could see pending expense reports, rather than limiting access to managers or approvers only.

The only negative experience I have had is not related to TravelBank itself but rather a people problem, expenses not being approved in a timely manner.

TravelBank always makes it easy and their customer service helps me find the best options for my destination. They have been very helpful even with last minute trip changes. I am extremely satisfied with TravelBank.

Occasionally, I come across hotels and flights on Google that do not appear in TravelBanks search results. I have to double-check with a service agent to confirm if they are truly unavailable.

My system sets everything up for me and all I have to do is enter the information.

When the system calculates mileage for my workers, it goes down to the decimal, but the state only reimburses whole numbers. This results in a loss of money for our system. Additionally, TravelBank is pulling all my expenses from one cost center, despite clearly indicating another.
