Reliable for collaboration

Pros

Itworks reliably for both internal and external communication and for the most part it's easy to use. Also it helps teams connect and respond quickly which makes daily collaboration much faster.

Cons

There have been quite a few changes lately andithas become a bit harder to navigate than before. On top of that some features seem to interfere with others and don't always work properly together.

liked the customization options

Pros

UsingMicrosoft Teams Phonehas been a great experience overall. It's simple to work with, offers good value for the price and helps a lot with project management. The customization options are useful and it does a good job supporting team communication and collaboration across daily work.

Cons

Startup can feel a bit slow at times which gets frustrating when you need to jump in quickly. The most recent update also changed the layout of certain features in a way that feels inconvenient andit's annoying being pushed onto the newest version whether you wantitor not.

screen sharing works the best

Pros

Meetings inTeamshave many of the same features I enjoy in Zoom but they feel a bit more polished especially on desktop. Screen sharing works particularly well and the messaging side is fun too since it lets you send memes and GIFs.

Cons

The part I liked least was that message alerts could be unreliable at times. When a lot of conversations or interactions were happening at once, I would sometimes miss notifications.

protects our privacy

Pros

Staying in touch with the team has been very good withthis app and it also feels secure which helps protect your privacy within your environment.

Cons

One downside is that the features seem to change very quickly. Something you use and like one day might be harder to find or unavailable the next time you needit.

shows accurate status everytime

Pros

Collaboration and integration have been working very well for us and the real-time status is consistently accurate.

Cons

The only thing that really bothers me aboutitis the file storage setup as itlooks pretty disorganized and tracking down something I sent more than a couple of weeks ago can be frustrating.

user friendly and full of features

Pros

Everything feels well organized and easy to use. The interface is user friendly and the full set of specs and features lets people explorethe softwarewithout any hassle.

Cons

At this point I really haven't noticed any downsides. It's also something I had already used before, both back in college and later while working soitfeels familiar as well.

well-organized

Pros

Right from the start the software feels very well organized and simple to use. It's user-friendly and all the specs and features give users plenty of room to explore the platform without any hassle.

Cons

I haven't noticed any drawbacks. It's actually something I've used before, both during my college days and later while I was working.

User-friendly app!

Pros

A standout feature in Teams is federation. It lets me chat with clients, vendors, partners and coworkers across other organizations which makes communication feel smooth even beyond our own company.

Cons

Biggest downside is outages. Our organization also relies on Teams for telephony so when Microsoft has a widespread outage, Teams is basically dead in the water.

Its a great tool

Pros

Teams does a really good job of bringing communication and collaboration into one place, combining chat, video meetings, file sharing and calls within a single workspace. On the project management side, features like tabs, channels and task integrations help keep both discussions and work better organized. The customization options are also useful since teams can adjust notifications and app integrations to fit the way they work which makes it feel worth the cost.

Cons

Can be a bit tricky for new users so the platform is not always the most adaptive at first. The quality of customer support can also depend on the subscription level which makes the experience somewhat inconsistent.

Works nicely

Pros

Having chat and video meetings built into the same Microsoft Teams app is a real plus. Compared with workplaces that rely on a separate Slack and Zoom setup, it feels more convenient to have both instant messaging and meeting tools combined in one program.

Cons

Desktop app does offer a lot which is helpful when you understand all the features and actually use them. That said, for someone new to Teams or for users who only need the basics, the interface can feel cluttered and a bit overwhelming.

virtual collaboration done right

Pros

Using it feels incredibly adaptive and nothing else I've tried matches how simple it is to navigate. The real-time virtual collaboration is especially strong and a lot of other apps seem like they're still trying to catch up. It really feels like the benchmark for remote work.

Cons

The message notification sound can get a little annoying, just kidding. honestly my biggest complaint is that it doesn't have a channel feature like Slack. That kind of setup makes sharing best practices much better than Teams does.

I rely on it

Pros

It works really well for both internal office communication and client meetings. I use this platform regularly to stay in touch with my team members and to host meetings.

Cons

Every now and then I run into technical glitches where a new message appears but I can't scroll down to view it.

Pros

A go-to solution for online and hybrid meetings, with the added benefit of being able to share documents during sessions.

There are a few notification issues when the app isn't active since alerts don't always come through.

teamwork and meetings made easy

Pros

Microsoft Teams has been a really solid tool for team collaboration. Being able to set up meetings with colleagues and work together on projects without much hassle has been very helpful.

Cons

Every now and then the system glitches and that can cause someone on the team to miss the meeting or lose important information that was being shared during the interruption.

missing key meeting feature

Pros

Joining a meeting is very simple with just a single click on a link and it helps by keeping team chats and documents all together in one place.

Cons

My biggest frustration is that its meeting feature doesn't include a proper beauty filter. It seems enterprise accounts get that option, while everyone else, including paid personal users, only gets a slight smoothing effect that barely makes a difference. Zoom is the closest competitor and they offer a beauty filter as a standard feature for all users.

fantastic value!

Pros

Getting Teams as part of the Microsoft package makes it excellent value for money. It's become a key tool for team communication, whether that's instant messaging, video calls, phone calls or online meetings. The layout is simple to use so it works well for both individuals and businesses which probably explains why it's so widely adopted. Setting up channels really helps with collaboration and keeping projects organized and sharing files or documents is quick. The search feature is also very effective when you need to pull up older messages or items. Having the built-in landline has been especially useful while working remotely. It also highlights unread meetings and chats which makes it much easier to navigate and catch up. Also, the integrations with calendars, OneDrive, apps and Copilot add a lot of convenience and the background and feature customization options are a nice bonus.

Cons

From time to time, Microsoft Teams can struggle when the internet connection is weak although turning off cameras usually helps resolve that. It also includes a call quality feedback option and it does feel like the platform is being improved on an ongoing basis.

a complete app!

Pros

Having messaging, meetings, collaboration, file sharing and chat all combined in one place is what I appreciate most. The video and audio quality stay consistently clear across different devices, even on weaker connections and with a large number of participants. The interface feels very adaptive and simple to use. It also integrates well with Microsoft 365 tools as well as non-Microsoft apps like Jira. Also, the customer support is excellent and the pricing plans are affordable.

Cons

The overall experience has been excellent. I use it every day for communication and team collaboration and it works well across all devices without any hassle.

all you need!

Pros

To have communication, collaboration and file sharing all in one place made a big difference. Teams let us move naturally between chat, video calls, document collaboration and Microsoft 365 integrations like OneDrive, SharePoint and Outlook without breaking focus. That cut down on context switching, made everything more transparent and kept everyone aligned especially across remote teams and cross-functional work.

Cons

Once Teams starts expanding with more channels, chats and integrations, it can feel noisy and a bit overwhelming without proper governance. Important messages are easy to miss when there are no clear rules for channel use, notifications and file organization. It tends to work much better when the team puts structure and communication guidelines in place early.
