“Excellent for daily work tasks”
Pros
Teamshas been excellent for daily work and I rely on it constantly for all kinds of tasks. It lets me see who is online and available without needing to message people first or ask around. I can chat one-on-one and also set up group conversations quickly which makes it very useful for sharing updates and passing information across my team and colleagues without delay. The video calling feature is another part I really enjoy since it works well for professional client conversations and online meetings when someone cannot make it into the office. At the same time, it's also handy on a more social level for staying connected with friends and coworkers.
Cons
I really haven't run into any downsides withit, whether I am usingitpersonally or for work.

“Keeps projects on track”
Pros
Keeping projects on track has been much easier withTeams. It's become essential for staying in touch not just with my own team but also for quickly reaching other departments whenever we need to keep timelines and management aligned. The platform is very simple to use, offers strong value since it's included in the Office 360 package and the customer support is reliable as you'd expect from a Microsoft product. The customizable emojis have also been a fun feature that's very popular across the company.
Cons
Itdoes run into occasional bugs from time to time which is pretty typical for Microsoft apps but they're usually fixed within 24 hours. Nothing that has caused any real concern.

“good for internal external communication”
Pros
Working withMicrosoft Teamschat at my job has been really positive. It's a simple way to keep communication flowing internally with coworkers and externally as well.
Cons
I honestly don't have anything negative to say aboutit. Everything feels clear and very easy to use anditworks really well for project management too.

“Allows connect with team anywhere”
Pros
Microsoft Teamshas been very helpful for quickly getting in touch with team members no matter where they are. I also use the meeting feature quite often and it's become an important part of how I communicate and collaborate.
Cons
from time to time I run into video connection issues which can be frustrating especially since I don't have the same problem on the same connection when using Zoom.

“Central communication reduces issues”
Pros
Ithas become a central part of communication at work. Instant messaging and file sharing with coworkers have really reduced barriers and made collaboration feel much more connected. The Teams interface is also user frienldy so it's simple for almost anyone to pick up and move around the tools they need. The biggest advantage for me in my role is being able to instantly share large files and videos for others to access which saves a lot of time and effort compared with switching between different platforms.
Cons
An annoyance is that the away status indicator, with the orange light, seems to appear very quickly if I step away from my laptop even for a moment. When working from home, that can come across badly sinceithas become one of the main ways people judge whether someone is actively working or not.

“Effective for daily communication”
Pros
Across our office,Teamshas been very effective for daily communication and is very user friendly. We use it constantly throughout the day without any trouble and I'd definitely recommend it to other businesses.
Cons
One thing that could be improved is makingitsimpler to delete old conversations when an employee is no longer active, instead of just having the conversation remain there.

“all communication tools in one place”
Pros
Having video meetings, calls, private or group messaging and file sharing all in one place has been very useful for working with teams.
Cons
The video meeting side could still use some improvement. from time to time the meeting links don't open properly so I end up entering the meeting code manually.

“Fits naturally into microsoft ecosystem”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages ofMicrosoft Teamsis how naturally it fits into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. On the admin side, identity, permissions and compliance can all be managed centrally through Entra ID and the M365 admin portals. For users, having chat, meetings, file collaboration and calendar access all in one place cuts down a lot on tool sprawl and keeps daily work more organized.
Cons
Itcan start to feel a bit heavy once you're dealing with a large number of teams and channels. Troubleshooting user problems is not always simple either since the root cause can involve several different services. On top of that Microsoft rolls out feature changes and UI updates pretty often which can leave users confused and means IT has to keep communicating and providing training regularly.

“proven very helpful”
Pros
Teamsreally does make internal communication much easier. Chats are instant, meetings start without any hassle and the integration with Outlook plus Office files helps everything flow better without constantly switching between apps. It's also very handy for managing workgroups and topic-based channels which keeps conversations and projects well organized.
Cons
Itcan be pretty demanding on system resources especially on older computers and that can slow down startup or cause small lag issues during meetings. On top of that notification management is not always accurate as sometimes alerts arrive late or overlap with each other which can get a bit confusing.

“Dependable since COVID”
Pros
Ever since the COVID period I have been usingMicrosoft Teamsregularly and it has stayed a dependable tool for daily collaboration. The video and audio quality is strong for both one-on-one calls and larger group meetings and it also handles virtual events and presentations very well. Features like screen sharing, whiteboarding and meeting recording make communication clearer and help the team stay productive. Another big advantage is that it runs consistently across PC, Mac, tablets and mobile devices so staying connected from anywhere is not a problem. Teams also helps cut down on email by keeping conversations in chat, allows people to work on files together securely in real time and stores documents in the cloud which reduces reliance on local storage and makes the overall workspace more efficient.
Cons
One thing that can become a bit distracting is the constant flow of messages, meeting reminders and channel notifications when the notification settings are not managed carefully.

“handles notes, tasks and meetings”
Pros
One of the best parts ofMicrosoft Teams Phoneis how tightly it connects with other Microsoft tools like Loop, Tasks and Copilot. Copilot has been a huge help especially during long or more complex meetings with a lot of back-and-forth in the chat. It can handle note-taking, help turn discussions into assigned tasks and generally makes meetings much more manageable. That feature alone is the biggest advantage for me.
Cons
something that really feels missing is the option to change how my cursor looks while I am presenting. That would makeitmuch easier for other people to follow along with what I am pointing at instead of confusingitwith their own cursor.Itwould also help a lot when people are taking screenshots since a more visible cursor would stand out better. I'd really like to see that added.

“Single place for communication”
Pros
HavingMicrosoft Teamskeep communication and collaboration in a single place has been very helpful. Chat, meetings and file sharing are all simple to keep track of which helps our team stay connected and get work done more efficiently.
Cons

“Chatting with coworkers feels fun”
Pros
Chatting with coworkers feels genuinely fun withTeams and that makes daily communication a lot more enjoyable. It really seems to keep up with current trends and bring those ideas into the software in a way that feels useful. On a personal level, it helps make company culture feel more upbeat and makes communication much more organized.

“mobile app is useful”
Pros
Microsoft Teamshas been a really positive experience for me especially because I can use it both on my desktop and through the mobile app. Having both versions available makes it much more convenient to stay connected and keep up with work wherever I am.
Cons
One thing that bothers me aboutitis how quickly the online status times out.Ithappens a lot when I am in meetings watching videos or webinars on my PC without actively moving the mouse and that can be pretty frustrating.

“helps organize remote work”
Pros
Having chat, meetings and file sharing together in one place really helps keep work organized. Setting up meetings is simple and it's convenient to hop on calls without needing dial-ins.It'sbeen very effective for remote and hybrid work and it's especially useful for quick conversations that don't need a formal meeting. The integration with Outlook and the rest of Microsoft 365 is also a big plus.
Cons
One downside is that notifications can become pretty noisy when you're part of a lot of teams or channels. There are also so many features thatitcan feel a little overwhelming at the beginning.Itusually takes some time for people to figure out the best way to use everything and settle into good habits.
