clear calls

Pros

Most of the features feel simple and consistent to use. Screen sharing is especially better than in a lot of other calling apps.

Cons

Finding other users and adding them to a group or creating a new group, can be a bit confusing. At times, people are blocked by the organization even when they are part of the same organization.

Works well!

Pros

Between work and school, being able to stay in touch with my team and message them whenever I need to has been really important. I really appreciate how simple it is to communicate and keep everyone connected.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that it can be pretty slow at times and it has crashed on me while I was in a call. That definitely needs attention because it can be really frustrating.

Quite dependable

Pros

Among the better interactive apps for both business and personal meetings, Teams has been really enjoyable to use. It works well for meetings, screen sharing and even control interactions with people anywhere in the world. It's also simple to understand.

Cons

The pricing feels a bit high for a basic organizational setup. It would be better if the cost were more moderate so it could be accessible to more people.

Good experience!

Pros

Having chats, calls and meetings managed in one place makes day-to-day communication really convenient. The way it connects with other Microsoft tools like Outlook and SharePoint is something I really appreciate because it keeps everything more organized and practical.

Cons

What I think could be better is the call quality when the network is weak or data connectivity is limited. I've also run into a few occasional bugs, like the app sometimes not recognizing an external microphone during calls.

it's actually good

Pros

Whenever we need to reach the right people quickly, this is the tool we rely on. It also does a really good job of showing which team members are available which makes communication much easier.

Cons

Teams can be pretty demanding on computer resources. On systems with 8GB of RAM or less, the slowdown is definitely noticeable and can affect overall performance.

my experience was good

Pros

It's been a really strong communication platform especially when I'm juggling multiple priorities and trying to stay on top of deadlines.

Cons

I honestly don't have any major complaints about Teams. The only thing I've noticed is that I do run into login problems fairly often, usually tied to online connection issues.

keeps us connected

Pros

Microsoft Teams has turned into one of my go-to tools for work. I use it every day to stay organized and keep in touch with the team and it's very simple to navigate. It works really well for chatting, video calls, sharing files and collaborating together. Meetings integrate nicely with Microsoft 365, document sharing is convenient and the customer support has also been very reliable.

Cons

It is worth the cost and delivers solid value. There are customization options that let each team set things up in a way that fits their needs best and my team genuinely enjoys using Microsoft Teams.

excellent device sync

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how incredible the interoperability and connectivity between devices are. It makes communication with the team much faster, more effective and instant which is especially valuable when working with larger groups. I also appreciate being able to create smaller groups and reorganize them however needed since that gives a lot of flexibility in managing conversations. Also, switching from a meeting on my laptop to my phone is very convenient and helps me manage my devices much better throughout the day.

Cons

A recurring issue is that when I'm working on external websites and keep the application minimized, my status sometimes changes to "away." That affects me negatively even when I'm still paying close attention to notifications from the app. As a virtual assistant, it's important that I don't have to keep reopening the application just so my bosses can see that I'm online.

online meetings made simpler

Pros

For me, online meetings are the highlight of this product. It lets you meet with a large number of people and the option to hide your background using different virtual backgrounds is really useful.

Cons

The recent upgrades are good although I needed a little time to get used to the new features. Still, the visuals are user-friendly so learning them was not difficult.

Stronger communication

Pros

Having Microsoft Teams in place has made things simple for both our staff and outside partners. We use it regularly for virtual interviews and people are usually able to join without any trouble. Since it works a lot like Zoom, the layout buttons and features already feel familiar to most users. We introduced it during the pandemic about five years ago and it has noticeably improved how our teams stay connected. With 200 employees working across 15 different locations, communication is clearly better now because of this product.

Cons

An issue that comes up from time to time is that staff or external partners try to join a meeting and suddenly their microphone settings have changed or they run into audio problems. We've come to understand that updates are usually the cause but it's still frustrating when it happens right when someone is trying to connect.

Quite easy to use

Pros

Microsoft Teams keeps our team connected and we can communicate, track updates and respond in real time. It also helps us stay on top of everything from sales deals to PTO by keeping it all visible on the calendar.

Cons

Something is up with the audio settings during Teams meetings.. they generally just aren't always dependable. A lot of the time, connected headphones aren't recognized properly.

great for daily meetings

Pros

This tool has been really useful for my 9-to-5 job since I use it every day. It works especially well for jumping into spontaneous meetings without much hassle.

Cons

Overall, I'm satisfied with it but the video quality still doesn't feel as strong as Zoom. It also offers fewer options to choose from.

good quality calls

Pros

Jumping on quick calls with engineers or customers feels really convenient and being able to talk through screens and files without juggling multiple chat and meeting apps makes everything much more efficient.

Cons

What gets frustrating is how loud the notifications are across every channel and after a while it can become pretty hard to track down one important message in the middle of everything.

collaborations are easier

Pros

Between calls, video meetings, calendars and quick access to other apps, Microsoft Teams makes it simple to handle several tasks in one place. It saves time and feels very convenient for internal communication and working together with coworkers.

Cons

One thing that gets frustrating is the status indicator not being consistently accurate. Even when I set it to active, it sometimes switches back to unavailable on its own without me changing anything.

It's fine

Pros

Biggest advantages of Teams is how well it fits into the Microsoft 360 ecosystem since it's a Microsoft product. It also helps a lot that you can name different chats which makes it much easier to keep track of conversations for different purposes. That's something Slack doesn't provide.

Cons

At the same time, Teams can be pretty inconsistent with connectivity and it sometimes feels sluggish or laggy. There are also moments when joining meetings is a bit more difficult than it should be.

features are great

Pros

Microsoft Teams comes with a strong set of features, including chat, video meetings, calling, file sharing, AI summaries for conversations and a user-friendly interface which makes it very useful.

Cons

In our institution, many users mention that the number of notifications can get annoying. I've also noticed that file organization feels complex and setting up channels can be a bit challenging.

I liked it really

Pros

Being able to use it from both my phone and any computer is a huge plus, as long as I have internet access or cell service. I can also jump on a video call with anyone, even when staff members are working from home.

Cons

Teams Meetings isn't especially user-friendly for people who aren't very comfortable with computers. That said, it still works reliably and I haven't run into any actual problems.

annoying crashes

Pros

One thing that really helps is how it groups all of my past chats and files together. It makes tracking down the files I need much faster and it's also useful when I want to double-check something I said earlier.

Cons

The downside is that the app can be pretty buggy which gets frustrating fast. It kept crashing whenever I tried to open a linked Excel file and I wasn't even able to redownload it from the app store so I had to get it directly from the Microsoft website.

copilot integration is great!

Pros

Online meetings have been much better with this tool especially now that it's integrated with Copilot. It feels more user-friendly than Google Meet and Zoom and overall it's simpler to work with.

Cons

Something that keeps happening is the default camera and microphone settings changing on their own so I often end up joining calls with both turned off.

Incredible chat features

Pros

Team communication works really well and I also really enjoy the space where I can message myself like a personal dump to keep my own notes.

Cons

It can sometimes be tricky to connect with people who don't use Teams so for new users that part may feel a bit complicated.
