simple chats with copilot

Pros

Using it has been pretty simple and it lets me stay in touch not just with my coworkers but also with outside partners we collaborate with. I also appreciate that it comes with Copilot since I can turn to it whenever I have questions.

Cons

The Outlook integration could be better and I occasionally run into audio problems when I join through a phone call.

So good!

Pros

Being able to stay connected with customer and prospect accounts is the biggest advantage for me. Having the option to message instead of relying only on email makes a huge difference and feels much more effective.

Cons

Screen-sharing feature still lags behind Zoom and comes across as a bit outdated. Also, whenever someone is a Teams user, they usually have a hard time logging into other screen-sharing platforms.

a complete tool

Pros

Keeping everything inside Microsoft Teams really simplifies collaboration. Chat, meetings, file sharing and app integrations are all available in one place which makes day-to-day teamwork much more convenient.

Cons

The app can sometimes feel a bit heavy especially in larger meetings or while moving between channels. A few settings also could be more flexible and adaptive.

Positive experience

Pros

At our 600-person company, Teams is one of the primary ways we communicate. I really appreciate being able to set up channels and subfolders to keep information organized. It also lets me build different types of content, such as columns and data tables which is very useful. Another feature that helps a lot is pinning important files to a tab since it saves time and keeps me from having to search through folders whenever I need them.

Cons

Something that has been frustrating for me is what happens when I'm working on a file in Teams that's stored inside a channel folder and then someone sends me a message or starts a call. Once the chat or call ends, I usually have to spend time navigating back to the same file again. I wish Teams would remember exactly where I was before the conversation so I could return to it right away.

fantastic for daily communication

Pros

Microsoft Teams has been a fantastic part of my workday and really helps keep everything on track. It makes communication clear and efficient and the meeting features make it simple to send and receive updates without any hassle.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any real complaints about Microsoft Teams. If I had to mention one thing, as someone who prefers more visual customization, I'd enjoy having more options for colors and font styles.

teams keeps everything connected

Pros

One thing that really stands out to me about Microsoft Teams is how well it keeps me connected with my coworkers. The platform is very simple to navigate and I even enjoy using the GIFs because they help my messages land better and feel more engaging. I rely on it a lot for meetings, everyday communication with my team and group discussions and it also helps me stay updated with company-wide announcements. Being able to personalize the layout and colors is another nice touch. Overall, it feels very user-friendly and has honestly been a game-changer for me.

Cons

The only thing I don't really enjoy about Teams is that the Chat tab can't be fully minimized. I'd prefer a bit more room for typing my messages. Other than that, I've been happy with it.

nice features

Pros

It covers everything our company needs to stay connected across a team of 60+ people. The video conferencing has been especially valuable since many of us, myself included, work remotely.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. It includes all the features I need, works reliably and is very simple to use.

Love it!

Pros

Very simple to use and works well for a lot of different needs, whether it's for personal use or in an office environment. I'd also recommend it for school-related use since it fits that purpose really well too.

Cons

I honestly don't have anything specific to point out as a downside or malfunction. I've used it for calls, messaging and teleconferences with many users at once and it has been a solid platform for all of that.

Very user friendly

Pros

Being able to customize your own teams is a huge plus. The software is very simple to use for chats, calls and quick day-to-day communication overall. My team relies on it for our morning meetings since we have employees in different states and it gives us a reliable way to share information and work together online.

Cons

Teams can get a little cluttered at times and finding older messages or files isn't always simple. It also feels slow on certain computers and can take a bit to load. In the end, it still does what we need but it could be more user-friendly and a little faster.

solid for daily team work

Pros

It handles the core things I need every day, team chats, calendar and calls/meetings, well enough so it covers my regular work needs.

Cons

There are still a few bugs, like the status showing incorrectly at times, for example, saying I'm away when I'm actually online. I've also run into occasional message sending failures and weak integration with Apple AirPods. Another usability issue is that uploaded background images show up at the bottom of the selection list instead of the top.

Offers good value

Pros

Teams gives really good value for the price, bringing together reliable team communication, excellent group meetings and smooth testing tool integration in one user-friendly platform.

Cons

One downside was that the customization options felt limited to very basic admin controls for a large organization which had an impact on the user experience and made it harder to build an effective workflow. Also, getting support beyond the initial level was often necessary for more complex technical issues and that delayed important response times.

Good one!

Pros

Being able to organize everything through the Teams app has been a big plus especially with quick access to the different teams I work with and all of their chats. Reacting to messages with any emoji and having GIFs built in adds a fun touch to conversations and really helps our team feel more connected.

Cons

A few updates have caused Teams to freeze on occasion and when that happens I've had to restart my computer just to get it working again.

convenient across all devices

Pros

The best thing about Microsoft Teams is how convenient it is to use. We have it installed on all of our company devices which makes staying connected and working together much more practical.

Cons

My biggest complaint about Microsoft Teams is the limited customization. I'd really like to see more options especially the ability to connect the platform with text messaging on mobile devices.

fantastic features

Pros

Getting around the app is very simple and the GIF feature is something I really enjoy using. The application is updated regularly which is a big plus and having Co-Pilot available directly inside Teams makes it even more useful.

Cons

Honestly there's not much to complain about with this software. The only occasional issue is that it can feel a bit slow when Microsoft is having server-side problems.

Messaging and meetings are easier

Pros

Sending quick messages to individual teammates is really convenient and joining remote meetings doesn't take much effort. It also works well for sharing links to documents and common folders with the team.

Cons

The interface isn't especially appealing visually and I'm not a fan of the Outlook sync because it ends up sending duplicate email notifications.

Good in-app integrations

Pros

It is a big plus that its build into MS Office and it really helps our internal team collaborate better. The interface adjusts fairly well and the add-on apps have been especially useful for keeping our processes more organized.

Cons

Every now and then, a few bugs and glitches pop up which can be frustrating especially in the middle of a meeting. The video quality is generally pretty solid but the app does occasionally crash at the worst times. I'm just not sure whether that's a Microsoft problem or something with my computer.

I like it

Pros

Switching a meeting from my PC to my phone takes just one click which has been incredibly helpful. As a parent, I'm constantly juggling multiple things at once and MS Teams fits into that kind of routine really well.

Cons

My only real frustration with MS Teams is how Team Channel notifications are handled. Once I'm added to a channel, there's no real way to disable those alerts unless I leave the team entirely in the app. In an operations leadership role, I'm included in a lot of group conversations and it gets annoying receiving constant notifications for messages that have nothing to do with my responsibilities. Most of that noise comes from Team Channels.

Quite nice

Pros

Joining meetings and setting up new ones is very simple which makes it convenient to use day to day. The chat feature is also really useful especially since it lets you keep separate conversations for different teams across the organization.

Cons

I do run into issues fairly often when trying to share my screen or switch between the audio and video settings in Teams.

Its a good tool!

Pros

Being able to send emails and set up team meetings through Microsoft, with the video call link automatically attached to the invite, is really convenient and saves time.

Cons

One part that's frustrating is the glitch that happens when switching between apps and then returning. At times, it won't let me get back into the app properly and I'm stuck only hearing the audio.

Simple interface

Pros

Teams is fairly user-friendly and fits in well with the rest of the Microsoft suite. It gives quick access to tools like Outlook Calendar, SharePoint and OneDrive and the chat feature is especially useful. Having SharePoint notifications come straight into Teams helps a lot with staying on top of updates and announcements. Being able to send a fast chat instead of another email is also a big advantage for our team.

Cons

The biggest frustration is that notifications aren't always dependable. Sometimes new messages and activity show up right away, even with an icon on the screen but other times nothing appears at all. In those cases, I only realize there's something new waiting in Teams after opening the app myself.
