one-click meetings

Pros

Starting an instant meeting with everyone in a group chat only takes one click now and being able to use as many emoji reactions as I want makes conversations feel a lot more expressive.

Cons

Notifications can build up pretty fast. It's not a major issue but it does take a little time to get used to sorting out the ones that matter most.

fun chat reactions

Pros

Microsoft Teams makes staying connected with coworkers really simple. I can chat with my team, set up meetings and keep everything organized in one calendar which is really convenient. There's a lot more it can do beyond that too so it offers much more than just basic communication.

Cons

At the beginning, it can feel a bit confusing when you're trying to understand all the features and different options. Once you get used to how everything works though, it becomes much more manageable.

liked it!

Pros

Working with others is much simpler with this software. I really appreciate that it connects well with other apps like Outlook and similar tools and sharing files with the team is very simple too.

Cons

It has been performing well overall. That said, it can feel a bit overwhelming for new users at times and the number of notifications can be a little excessive.

i rely on it

Pros

Using this software feels fairly simple overall. I haven't run into any major bugs and it's genuinely useful for hosting virtual meetings.

Cons

Over time, it hasn't really introduced anything new. The design also feels very basic and not especially appealing for people who set up meetings.

solid collaboration with outlook

Pros

Having Teams included in our Microsoft 365 subscription has been a real cost saver compared with paying for a separate video conferencing platform. It does a good job overall and gives our teams a reliable way to work together remotely. We also get value from being able to stay connected with people outside our organization, including contacts and associates. The Outlook integration is especially strong and works very well for us.

Cons

After about a month of using Teams, a few limitations have started to stand out. The interface still feels a bit unpolished and the windows can't be resized as freely as I'd want which makes it feel restrictive. Setting up a room with the same reusable link each time is also not very convenient and sharing that URL could be handled much better. Shorter URLs would be a big improvement too. I also wish the AI tools weren't locked behind an extra paywall. Since we didn't purchase them, I can't really judge how useful they are but I would absolutely want features like meeting transcript summaries and action items for team members.

features are great

Pros

Teams works really well for planning, meetings, training sessions and staying connected. The built-in tools like screen sharing, whiteboard and recording are very handy and we especially enjoy adding some personality with customized backgrounds.

Cons

At times, joining meetings can take longer than it should and the microphone and speaker can be annoyingly inconsistent.

offline messages keep me connected

Pros

One of my favorite things about Teams is that I still get notifications even when I'm offline so people can leave me messages and I won't miss them.

Cons

The part I like least about Teams is that sometimes the app goes silent when I switch between my phone and desktop.

works pretty nicely

Pros

Microsoft Teams has consistently been very simple to use. It makes it easy to stay connected with coworkers and other people through chats and online meetings.

Cons

Getting familiar with all of Teams' features can take a while and that may feel overwhelming for someone new to it. It also depends on a solid internet connection, otherwise lag can become an issue.

so convenient

Pros

We have our own private extension and that is a big plus. Since I work in IT, there's really no need to set up VOIP phones at all.

Cons

Every now and then there are issues with wireless headsets but only with certain models and you end up having to keep adjusting the sound settings.

my experience was good

Pros

Having messaging, video meetings, file sharing and connections with other Microsoft apps all in one place is the part I appreciate most about Microsoft Teams. It makes collaboration feel more efficient and being able to set up separate channels for different projects helps keep discussions organized and much easier to follow.

Cons

There are moments when Teams feels a bit heavy and slow especially while moving between chats or trying to join meetings. The interface can also seem cluttered so new users may need a little time to get comfortable with it.

simple to use

Pros

Keeping in touch with coworkers and external contacts is really convenient thanks to the different communication channels available. Accessing and sharing documents through OneDrive is also very simple which makes collaboration much better.

Cons

At times, the video call transcription misses the mark on accuracy but it's not an essential feature for me so it hasn't been a major issue.

timely team updates

Pros

Using it during the workday has been really convenient. We manage lots of different chats in one place and it works well for scheduling personal time and training sessions too. It's also a useful way to share company news internally.

Cons

Every now and then it glitches and a message I already read shows up as new again which can be distracting. The navigation is also a bit hard for new users to get used to.

collaboration made easy

Pros

Whenever you need to bring a group together, Teams works really well. It lets you chat, share files and jump into meetings all in one place. Whether it's for coworkers or classmates, it helps keep everyone aligned and on the same page.

Cons

At first, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. Moving between chats, channels and files isn't always very adaptive and can come across as a little awkward to navigate.

perfect!

Pros

Microsoft Teams does a really nice job of combining chat, calls, meetings and file sharing in one place which makes working with a team much more convenient.

Cons

Sometimes it can feel a little resource-heavy and it tends to slow down when you're dealing with larger teams or a lot of files.

dated extras

Pros

It's not the top centralized communication platform for a company but it covers the basics well enough. Having team chats for the different projects I'm involved in is helpful and being able to rename them makes staying organized a lot better.

Cons

Over time, Microsoft Teams has started to feel a little more complicated to use. Copilot also doesn't add much that feels genuinely useful and it occasionally causes glitches.

gave us a productivity boost

Pros

Having everything for communication gathered in one place makes this platform incredibly versatile. The video meetings, along with recording and transcription, have been especially important to our company's success. I also really enjoy the built-in Planner feature because it helps me stay organized, on track and focused. Also, the interface is very user-friendly.

Cons

For personal use, the cost can feel a little too high for what it offers. I already pay for Microsoft Office but I still haven't been able to link my personal Teams account with my Office account which is frustrating.

So good!

Pros

Using features like live captions and translations has been really helpful. I've used them in different meetings and across multiple languages and the results have been consistently very good.

Cons

One thing that creates tension for my team is the chat status going offline. It feels stressful and I don't think that level of monitoring or control is really necessary.

Pros

It's completely changed how we work by cutting down on time, travel costs, wages and office space, while also letting us get answers right away.

Cons

One issue I still run into is reconnecting devices. When I switch between headsets, webcams, speakers or other equipment, it doesn't always connect properly.

Pros

Using Teams has been amazing because it's so simple to use and makes connecting with other people really convenient. It works really well for video chats and business meetings too which makes it a solid option for workplace communication.

Cons

Honestly I can't point to anything I dislike about using Teams. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking to use it in a workplace setting.
