meetings, chat and AI in one

Pros

Missing meetings or forgetting important points used to happen sometimes but Teams fixed that by putting meetings, chat and AI notes all in one place.

Cons

Teams really covers everything and getting it rolled out to my team took hardly any time. The feature set is strong and nothing has been a letdown.

Great app

Pros

Microsoft Teams has been a really positive addition for our company when it comes to communication and collaboration. Getting it up and running was simple and using it day to day has felt very simple. Another big plus is the wide range of apps and programs that connect with Teams which adds a lot of value.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind as a downside right now. Microsoft Teams has been an outstanding tool for teamwork and collaboration.

Works well

Pros

Our organization gets a lot of value from Teams because we can use it for video meetings and also share and collaborate on other Microsoft documents in one place.

Cons

Something that gets annoying at times is that the Microsoft app asks me to sign in more often than I'd prefer just to join a meeting.

Solid overall

Pros

Teamwork runs really well with chat, video meetings, file sharing and smooth Office 365 integration all in one place.

Cons

Interface can feel a bit cluttered at times, it tends to use a lot of system resources, there are occasional glitches and the notifications can become overwhelming.

saves time

Pros

Microsoft Teams brings together a lot of useful features that make communication and organization much better. Lately, I've been using Task Manager a lot to keep up with other teams and track the status of their projects and that has been especially helpful. I also appreciate being able to customize the color and layout in my personal Teams app which makes it feel more tailored to how I work. Another feature I really enjoy is the ability to record meetings. That's been useful for catching coworkers up while they're on PTO and for going back to review important details whenever needed.

Cons

A downside I've run into is during screen sharing. It can be hard to tell who has joined the meeting because Teams only shows a limited number of names while I'm presenting. I've also had trouble with the screen-sharing toolbar getting in the way since I have to keep moving it around to navigate properly.

features are great

Pros

Across our company, Microsoft Teams has been an excellent communication tool. We're able to schedule meetings in Teams that everyone can join no matter where they're working from. The channel setup also works really well because we can create department-specific groups and keep conversations organized. Teams is very simple to get up and running and the integrations with other apps and programs add a lot of value. It's also a big plus that it's already included with our Microsoft products so there are no extra costs or additional software to purchase.

Cons

Honestly there isn't much I dislike about Teams because it has worked very well for our organization. If anything, it would be helpful to have more resources or guidance for setting up and integrating other apps. At times it feels like we're probably not taking full advantage of everything the platform can do.

positive experience

Pros

It's an adaptive app for running team meetings and it works both right in the browser and through an installed version. That's a big plus because free users, paid users and even company accounts can all join without any trouble which makes it really practical for talking with teammates, clients and collaborators.

Cons

What i think I'm missing is the option to include payment links directly. Without that, I have to rely on a separate module to schedule appointments with clients.

Rich integrations

Pros

Microsoft Teams covers everything I need for corporate meetings, with HD video and Dolby voice quality that make video and web conferences feel polished and dependable. Since it's part of the Microsoft ecosystem, I also get access to a lot of added functionality through its integrations which makes it even more useful.

Cons

Even after using it for more than a decade, I've barely run into any issues or bugs when using it to keep team communication organized and running efficiently.

reliable

Pros

Teams has been a real game changer for me. It's dependable, flexible and has made handling meetings much easier. It saves me a lot of time and cuts down on unnecessary hassle.

Cons

The tool has been performing really well for me. I haven't run into any issues at all and I haven't noticed any bugs since I started using it.

Calls are clear

Pros

Day-to-day teamwork feels much more connected with this platform. It integrates really well with Office 365 apps, the video and audio calls are dependable and the collaboration tools like file sharing and channels make it simple to keep everything organized and in one place.

Cons

On the downside, it can use quite a lot of computer resources, the notifications can pile up and become a bit too much and some of the features take new users a little time to learn.

team communication made easy

Pros

Staying in touch with people both inside and outside the organization has been really convenient with this. It makes setting up meetings simple and works especially well for group communication.

Cons

The customization settings could be a bit more flexible to match individual preferences but honestly it is not a major problem. It feels more like a personal preference than a real issue.

I like it

Pros

One thing that really works well with Teams is how it brings chats, meetings, video and audio calls and team updates into one place. It's also very user-friendly which makes a big difference for people who aren't especially comfortable with computers. Compared with Zoom and other platforms that offer similar features, this one feels much simpler to navigate. I also appreciate the customization options, like background effects, blur and higher-resolution video. Also, the connection with my Microsoft calendar and OneDrive has been extremely valuable.

Cons

Honestly there isn't anything I can think of that I'd want to change about what Teams offers right now. Everything I'd typically look for in a platform like this, including the features mentioned above, is already built in.

so good

Pros

Something I really enjoy is the real-time chat and calling. You can switch to video during calls or keep it audio-only which is convenient. Voicemails being transcribed automatically is a huge help, too. It's simple to pick up and start using without much of a learning curve. The pin bar is really useful for getting to other apps quickly and I like that it can be customized. The group and team features are also excellent for keeping everyone connected and staying on top of project communication.

Cons

A few of the default settings weren't what I or my coworkers would have chosen so we had to spend time digging through the options to adjust them. I also don't care for how files open from a Teams chat and the way you navigate back feels inconsistent compared with other screens.

affordable!

Pros

Having it included with the full Microsoft suite makes it a pretty affordable and cost-effective option. The video quality is solid for meetings and team communication and it connects really well with the rest of the Office tools.

Cons

Teams still tends to lag especially during larger meetings with more than 200 people and the chat feature isn't my favorite. Compared with Slack, it feels more cluttered and less organized.

Great for remote work

Pros

This app has been most useful for keeping communication moving quickly across our team and it makes collaborating on projects or tasks really simple. Since our staff works remotely, it's been a solid way for us to meet, securely share documents and stay on top of files and conversations in one place.

Cons

Where it falls short is organization, document tracking and integration with Apple products which unfortunately hasn't worked very well.

simple interface

Pros

Something that really works well is how quickly you can place calls, send messages and jump into video meetings. Setting up collaboration groups for projects, sharing documents and connecting everything with your calendar is essential for how our business operates today. Also, the screen sharing feature is excellent and incredibly important with remote work becoming more and more common.

Cons

Because Teams supports so many plug-ins and add-ons, it can feel a bit overwhelming trying to figure out everything the software can do. Also, when the layout gets updated, it usually takes a while to get used to the new design.

Pros

It gives us a simple, well-organized way to stay in touch with teammates, whether it's one-on-one chats or group conversations for project work.

Cons

Haven't run into any downsides with Teams. It's user-friendly, dependable and works really well with other Office tools.

meetings are easier

Pros

Keeping in touch with co-workers is really simple with this. It makes it clear who is available and who is busy and it lets everyone stay grouped together so team communication is much more convenient. When we need to work from home, setting up a face-to-face meeting is also very simple. Also, having quick access to the calendar and OneDrive directly within Teams is really helpful.

Cons

Honestly there are very few downsides to Teams from my perspective. I have not run into any major problems using it. The only issue I notice is that when someone sends an attachment, I sometimes end up closing out of Teams entirely. A more obvious way to exit attachments would be my only real suggestion.

Pros

Microsoft Teams keeps me connected with my supervisors and the rest of my team. I can keep several chats open at once and quickly message whoever I need to.

Cons

packed with features

Pros

Right away, the app felt very simple to use and the features are genuinely impressive. I especially enjoy how customizable it is because I can personalize it to match my preferences and make it feel just right for me. It also lets me connect with many people at once without any issues which has been very helpful. Another big plus is that I can use it on my mobile phone so I'm able to join meetings from anywhere at any time. Overall, the value this app offers is namdvilad wonderful.

Cons

One thing I like least is how the license expiration is handled. The free trial is nice but I don't think access should be cut off completely once it ends. It would be much better if access remained available in a limited way, with only certain features restricted. I really hope that's something the team will consider.
