nice features

Pros

Having Outlook calendar integration is really useful because I can jump into meetings right away. It helps keep things more consolidated too since email and meeting schedules are connected in one place.

Cons

At times, joining meetings in Teams can be frustrating. The differences in updates between the app, desktop and online versions can cause problems especially when it suddenly requires an update before letting me join.

handy integrations

Pros

Staying connected with team members is really simple, communication flows well and the platform is accessible. I also appreciate how different apps are integrated across the whole system which makes everything feel connected in one place.

Cons

Getting around the platform as a new user can take a little time to fully get the hang of especially for people who are not already familiar with office tools.

top-tier!!

Pros

Out of all the work communication platforms I've used, Teams has easily been the strongest option. I haven't come across another app that delivers the same overall level of functionality and quality and I'd highly recommend it.

Cons

Every now and then, Teams has trouble detecting a headset when I plug one in but aside from that, I really don't have any complaints about it.

One of the best

Pros

What I really appreciate about it is that it lets me join webinars hosted by our suppliers which helps me learn more about their products.

Cons

A downside, at least for some users, is the one-hour time limit. I'm not sure but it may be related to using the free version of the product.

teams fits right into work

Pros

Using Microsoft Teams has been really convenient especially since it usually comes included with Microsoft which most workplaces already use. Because almost everyone has access to it, setting up meetings is simple and doesn't involve extra downloads, annoying time limits or subscription barriers. Team chat is also built in so staying in touch with coworkers is quick and hassle-free.

Cons

Every now and then, a call will lag or drop but honestly it's no worse than what I've seen with other meeting platforms. Beyond that, there really isn't anything about Teams that I genuinely dislike.

Great option

Pros

My experience with the app has been great, using it day to day has been very simple and the range of features gives us everything we need. The third-party integrations are really useful and having access to it as part of the Microsoft 365 suite makes it even more valuable. It's become an essential tool for our firm especially for running multi-party meetings.

Cons

The one thing that would make it even better is having Canadian phone numbers or VOIP support so we could bring our entire communications system together on a single platform.

love chatting on it

Pros

Getting started with Teams for meetings, chatting with coworkers and sharing files is pretty simple since everything is in one place. It's also really useful how well it connects with other Microsoft apps like Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint.

Cons

At times, the app can be a bit demanding on system resources especially when several tabs are open. Also, joining meetings in the browser comes with fewer features than using the desktop version.

fast office messaging

Pros

One of the best parts is how quickly it lets me send messages around the office. Email inboxes get cluttered fast but Teams helps me stay on top of the conversations I actually want to see right away.

Cons

Like with most Microsoft Office tools, getting used to updates can be a bit challenging. The changes often feel pretty drastic and the tutorials are dull. After about a week though, it starts to feel natural again.

teamwork is simpler now

Pros

It keeps the whole organization connected, cuts down a lot on the daily back-and-forth with emails and attachments and makes it convenient to call or share a screen when needed. The integration with different Microsoft products is also a big plus.

Cons

There are still some technical glitches and updates don't always happen quickly enough. It's also frustrating when the system asks me to use the same attachment that's already in the chat while I'm trying to send it to someone else.

excellent video quality

Pros

Keeping regular meetings on track is simple with Microsoft Teams, no matter where our employees or customers are based. The video quality and screen sharing are excellent and noticeably better than the other tools we tested. It also delivers very good value for the price.

Cons

An inconvenience is that syncing between the Teams calendar and Google Calendar doesn't work which is frustrating since we rely on both.

so convenient

Pros

Microsoft Teams brings video meetings and group messaging together in a single app, with both accessible right from the chat area. That setup makes collaborating with a team really convenient, whether it's through quick messages or jumping into a virtual meeting.

Cons

On Mac, background notifications can be frustrating to set up especially after quitting the app. Because of that, it's pretty common to miss alerts and end up reopening Teams more often just to make sure nothing was missed.

communication is effortless now

Pros

Keeping in touch with the people I work with, whether it's my team or the group I'm assigned to, is really simple with this. It makes communicating and reaching the right people a lot more convenient.

Cons

Honestly there wasn't much to dislike about it. I never really ran into any problems using it and everything consistently worked without any hassle.

Nice to have

Pros

Love how teams provides a centralized workspace where teams can chat, collaborate on projects, hold meetings and work from a customizable dashboard.

Cons

Other than the platform being somewhat complex which is pretty common with powerful tools, I really don't have any issues especially since I've been able to customize more than 70% of the available features.

limited chat filters

Pros

Getting things set up is simple, joining meetings is simple and the team can collaborate online using a single uploaded file. It's also useful that meetings can be recorded and reviewed later whenever needed.

Cons

A frustrating part of the Microsoft Teams chat is the limited filter options at the top. It only shows "Unread," "Chats," "Unmuted," and "Meeting chats," so there's no "Personal" filter to quickly message one person directly or easily locate previous chat history.

Awesome!

Pros

Having chat, video meetings, file sharing and task management all in one place made Microsoft Teams really useful for everything I needed. It was especially convenient because it works so well with Microsoft 365, both in terms of integration and cost. Features like document collaboration, co-authoring files and even scheduling meetings directly through Outlook made day-to-day work much more connected and efficient.

Cons

At times, the interface doesn't feel very responsive and the app can be quite heavy especially on older devices. Switching between teams or channels is sometimes slower than it should be and the mobile version doesn't always match the desktop experience. Also, the notification settings can be a bit tricky to manage.

feels like a downgrade

Pros

It does the job as a live chat tool and I appreciate having my calendar and other Microsoft apps synced together so I don't have to jump back and forth between things like my email and MS Teams.

Cons

Compared with Slack, it really lacks that modern, flexible design and using MS Teams now honestly feels like a step down.

productive meetings anywhere

Pros

Being able to connect with all of my agents and set up meetings no matter where we are has been really valuable. It helps us stay productive together and keeps collaboration going even when we're all in different places.

Cons

The first time we used it, things were a little finicky since everyone was still learning how the program worked. Even so, we managed to get everyone connected and after that it worked out really well.

feature rich

Pros

Using Teams online feels very natural because the interface is adaptive and that lets me do everything I used to handle in my in-person job without much difficulty. The meetings work really well and come with several useful features, whether I need to record them or give only certain participants their time to speak.

Cons

There are still some features I haven't learned yet or haven't had the chance to try. Maybe it would help if a short explanatory video came out whenever a new feature was introduced so people could use Teams more fully.

Incredible quality of video

Pros

Microsoft Teams has worked really well for us. It brings calls, chat and file sharing together in one place and the best part is that those features are included without needing to pay extra.

Cons

New AI integration has been frustrating since it fails a lot of the time and often comes with bugs or crashes. It would be much better if users were asked before something like this was added.

keeps work connected!

Pros

Across our organization, Teams helps us handle everyday work in one place, whether it's calls, video meetings, file sharing or quick text conversations.

Cons

One thing still missing is complete calendar integration and synchronization with Outlook. Meeting invitations don't sync properly.
