working well for us

Pros

Teams has been a big win for us. We're able to save our files there and get to them from anywhere which makes it much easier to keep working no matter where we are. Unlike before, we're not dealing with downtime so everything keeps moving without interruptions.

Cons

The only downside for me is having to keep up with messages in both Teams and Outlook. There's a lot of activity on each platform so it can feel like I'm monitoring two separate communication channels. It would be even better if I could connect Outlook inside Teams somehow.

clear calls

Pros

Right at the top of the list for me is how user-friendly Microsoft Teams feels. Managing audio and video devices is simple, screen sharing is hassle-free and the call quality stays consistently crystal clear.

Cons

What I'd still like to see is better Co-Pilot integration guidance especially with more examples of what can be done using agents. A gallery or browseable space for ideas would be really helpful.

convenient to use

Pros

Really convenient and reliable to use. Setting up online meetings with my internal team or with external parties is quick and simple.

Cons

One annoying thing is that Teams keeps suggesting I switch to the New Teams experience and even after I accept it, the same prompt shows up again the next day. It would also be much better to have a media view inside group chats so it's easier to see all the files, photos or videos that have been shared, similar to how WhatsApp handles media.

Great overall

Pros

It's incredibly handy for my meetings. I love that I can smoothly move from my phone to my computer without missing a beat... and having everything readily accessible makes my workflow so much easier.

Cons

I find the new calendar layout a bit overwhelming, to be honest. The current version offers a much clearer view and helps me spot everything at a glance so I'm able to work a lot faster with it.

feature-packed

Pros

Really user-friendly for multiple people and it packs in a lot of features that used to require several different platforms to handle.

Cons

It can take a little time to adjust to online calls when switching over from other platforms and screen sharing can be unreliable at times.

excellent !

Pros

Teams has been essential for internal collaboration and also for staying in touch with clients when they don't want to meet in person.

Cons

We ran into a few issues though. In general, I often have trouble with conversation threads not loading properly or not showing the messages I received notifications for.

solid for team file sharing

Pros

This communication tool fits company use really well especially when different teammates need to share files and communicate in real time based on the needs of a project.

Cons

At times, the chat feature does not feel very flexible or pleasant to use. I'd also say Teams is not always enjoyable because the interface looks a bit outdated.

teams calling cut our costs

Pros

Switching our phone setup to Teams worked out really well for us especially because we don't need a complicated call menu when people reach our organization. We just have calls go straight to reception and from there they're transferred to the right person or a message gets taken. Our team really disliked using hard phones so being able to rely on the Teams app on personal devices has been a huge improvement. It means no more missed calls when someone is away from their desk and we also got rid of the expense of all that hardware. Another big plus is that we only pay the monthly fee for users who actually need outbound calling which has lowered our phone bill quite a bit. The instant messaging side simply works the way you expect it to and it does that reliably enough that it's hard to single out one thing to praise. If your organization already runs on O365, this is absolutely worth considering.

Cons

there isn't much for me to complain about with Teams. The only real limitation I can think of is that if your organization depends on a more complex phone tree setup, this probably wouldn't be the right solution. Also, if you're hoping to keep using older desk phones, that may not work out since we had to replace them with newer models for the few people who still wanted a desk phone.

positive experience

Pros

Keeping team meetings organized is really simple with this and the group messaging and announcement features make it easy to get information out to everyone at once.

Cons

Tracking down a specific person's contact details can be difficult when something urgent comes up. Thankfully, calling them works well as a backup option.

all-in-one teamwork

Pros

One thing I've really enjoyed about Microsoft Teams is how simple it makes communication and collaboration especially when you're studying or working from home. Being able to do video calls, share files and chat all in one place is really convenient. I also find it very helpful that it connects with other Microsoft tools like Word and Excel.

Cons

At times, Microsoft Teams can feel a bit slow especially when the internet connection isn't very strong. I've also noticed that notifications do not always arrive on time and it can be pretty easy to miss messages when you're in a lot of groups or channels. I wish it were a little more adaptive at the beginning because it takes some time to get used to if you've never used it before.

fun team chats

Pros

Using it has been really simple and I love being able to use GIFs in conversations. It makes chatting with coworkers and jumping into meetings feel simple and convenient.

Cons

Every now and then it gets a little glitchy and I really wish it wouldn't automatically mute you depending on how many people are in the meeting.

working well for me

Pros

It is so simple and it's a fantastic way to keep communication flowing across the business especially when everyone is working remotely.

Cons

Sometimes it just signs me out unexpectedly and asks for verification which can be a bit time-consuming. Still, I'm extremely happy with it overall.

built-in calendar helps

Pros

Keeping in touch with work colleagues is really simple with this. It has a clean, simple setup that works well for quick calls and instant messaging and the built-in calendar is a nice addition for staying organised.

Cons

Customization is pretty limited on the user side. There isn't much room to deeply personalize the dashboard, whether that's the layout or the overall appearance.

makes work easy

Pros

From a professional standpoint, this software is now irreplaceable. Its strong performance have made it a go-to tool for all our team meetings.

Cons

Maybe we could look into updating the UI and adding more background filter options.

top tier product

Pros

Microsoft Teams delivers a top-tier messaging and calling experience. It's an all-in-one platform that lets users connect quickly and keeps everything convenient in one place.

Cons

After moving over from a different product, there was a brief adjustment period at first. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints.

excellent video calls

Pros

Video calling has been the standout feature for me. It works really well with Outlook Calendar and being able to check my team's status at a glance is genuinely useful during the day.

Cons

Chat side isn't my favorite part of the platform. It just doesn't feel as polished or work as well as tools that are built specifically for messaging, like Slack.

sync is good

Pros

Working from home as a telephone interviewer at a virtual call center, this software did a really good job of keeping team communication fully connected. Even though we were all remote, it often felt like my coworkers were right there beside me. We were able to celebrate each other's accomplishments in real time which made the job feel more interactive. Overall, it made remote work much more engaging and a lot less isolating.

Cons

At times during work huddles, it could be a little confusing to figure out which thread I was supposed to be in. Other than that, I really don't have much to complain about.

team chats help

Pros

Ever since ive been using it, managing different projects is a lot more manageable with the team chats. I can rename each one which helps keep everything organized and easier to follow. The file spaces are useful too especially for sharing the workspace online with the rest of the team.

Cons

The app glitches pretty often and it crashes a lot during my workday. That makes it really difficult to stay productive. It's even more frustrating when it crashes without saving because then I have to go back and start over.

meeting scheduling is easier

Pros

Scheduling meetings and actually getting them going is very simple. I also really appreciate that inviting both people from our organization and external participants is just as simple which makes joining meetings hassle-free for everyone.

Cons

One thing I couldn't find is a feature that automatically takes notes during meetings without having to record the entire session first.

so good

Pros

Since it comes with Office 365, we already had it available which was a big plus. The video call quality is solid, screen sharing works well and the chat does the job. I can also set up separate teams for different departments which helps keep things organized. Having chat, files and meetings all in one place is really convenient.

Cons

At the same time, it can be pretty confusing to navigate. There are channel chats and private chats and it's not always clear where a conversation happened. The same goes for files sometimes it feels impossible to know where something was saved. It's also slow to launch, uses a lot of memory on my computer and my fan starts going crazy every time I open Teams.
