good results

Pros

Teams has been a really solid way for our team to stay connected and the overall experience feels pretty smooth. When messaging isn't enough, being able to jump on a video call right inside Teams is a big plus.

Cons

At times, Teams can be a bit confusing for our group especially when it comes to locating uploaded documents or figuring out which meeting to join. That said, it's not a major issue and can usually be prevented with better training and clearer systems in place.

Work perfectly

Pros

This app has been an excellent option for meetings. One feature I really appreciate is how well it syncs with my Outlook calendar. Scheduling meetings is very simple and making changes later when needed is just as convenient.

Cons

Only issue that has come up during Teams meetings is that some business owners occasionally have trouble joining if they are not signed in to Microsoft. It does not happen often and we usually resolve it pretty quickly.

excellent!!

Pros

A feature I really enjoy is the translation option although I do wish it were included in the basic plan. The integration between MS Office and Teams is also very useful. It's helpful that channels can work with both email and webhooks and being able to add tabs to a Teams channel makes collaboration even better.

Cons

Setting up a webhook card is honestly pretty frustrating. I really wish there were a simpler way to create a basic webhook card with actions. It would also help if more companies supported Microsoft Teams because Slack still comes out ahead on integrations alone. Also, there should be better ways to guide new team members into the right Teams channels during onboarding.

better if you're already on teams

Pros

It works well for group team meetings when you're already using the Teams platform and Microsoft tools in general. That said, it's not quite as simple to use if you're not already in that ecosystem especially compared with something like Zoom.

Cons

Using it can feel less adaptive when not everyone is already working within Teams, at least based on what I've seen. Of course, I understand that other people may have had a different experience with it.

our team's fav

Pros

When time is tight, Teams helps me reach coworkers quickly and keep communication moving. It also makes remote work doable since meetings can be held virtually without any hassle.

Cons

The only issue I've run into is that Teams will occasionally shut down without warning. It doesn't happen often but it has happened.

Great dial-in

Pros

Being part of Microsoft gives it a level of familiarity and trust and it feels more widely used and capable than Zoom. It's fairly adaptable in day-to-day use as well. The phone dial-in feature has been especially dependable for me, it works on the first try every time which is better than most other platforms and makes joining calls much more simple.

Cons

I ran into major compatibility problems with my older laptop and also had trouble with my cell connection. That really kept me from using it much because I couldn't work out what was causing the issue. Since upgrading the laptop, that part has been resolved. Even with that, I still personally prefer face-to-face meetings over multi-person video calls on a screen.

calendar help across timezones

Pros

Calendar and scheduling assistant built in has been really helpful especially when coordinating across different time zones. The transcription feature and the newer AI summaries are also a big plus and save time after meetings.

Cons

The newer chat page feels a bit confusing especially when trying to filter with meetings and channels. The layout on that page is also not very well organized and the UI could definitely be better.

excellent fit

Pros

Microsoft Teams has been the best option for supporting our remote work setup. It makes collaborating with other tools feel very simple and convenient.

Cons

Every now and then, it runs into performance issues. When working with large amounts of data, the system can slow down a little but aside from that, I really love it.

Pros

It's been performing really well for us. The interface feels very user-friendly and I also appreciate that the pricing is affordable.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints about Microsoft Teams. It's been working reliably for our team and we haven't run into any issues while using it.

keeps us organized

Pros

Chatting, calling and sharing files all feel really simple with Microsoft Teams. I use it constantly at the company I work for and I also rely on it for my own ecommerce business. It does a really good job of keeping everyone connected, aligned and organized.

Cons

At times, the app is a little slow to open or can lag during use. When you're part of several groups, tracking down older messages or files can also be a bit difficult.

simple to use

Pros

Collaboration feels simple and simple and it fits in smoothly with all the systems we use. The mobile app is a big plus too since it makes communication much more convenient when I'm on the go or working away from the office.

Cons

One annoyance is that chat windows can disappear further down the list. Pinning important conversations to the top helps but having a few alternative layout options would make it even better.

helpful AI

Pros

The interface is well designed and the Copilot AI assistant is a really useful addition. It also works very well for calling with multiple groups which makes collaboration much more convenient.

Cons

An issue with the Teams app is that messages disappear after a certain period which can lead to important information being lost.

fantastic recording

Pros

What keeps me using it is the auto-recording feature which is really handy. It also uses very little data and the audio quality is clear and pleasant to listen to. The video display looks high quality and screen sharing works especially well which makes presentations and meetings much better overall.

Cons

Con is that reconnecting can sometimes take a while when the internet connection is unstable. It also has a limited number of channels which can feel restrictive at times.

quick replies like texting

Pros

Asking a question here feels a lot like sending a text on your phone and the response usually comes back much faster than waiting on email.

Cons

The downside is all the notification dings when a lot of people are messaging back and forth. For something that should be a quick answer, the constant alerts can get pretty distracting.

fast and user-friendly

Pros

One of the best things about this software is how efficient it is. It runs fast, feels reliable and has a well-designed interface. The UI works really well and makes everything simple to navigate and use.

Cons

There have been a couple of times when it didn't work but that seemed to be tied to Microsoft's worldwide connectivity issues rather than the software itself. It has only happened twice.

no lags!

Pros

Beyond being a strong collaboration tool for business, Teams also offers excellent phone features. It provides everything you'd expect from a traditional business phone system but without the inconvenience and complexity that come with old PABX setups. It feels organized, efficient and well suited to modern communication.

Cons

As with most software, reliability isn't perfect all the time and there can be occasional crashes or drops in voice quality. That said, these problems aren't always caused by Teams alone since network conditions can also have a big impact on overall performance.

positive experience

Pros

Working from home means staying in touch with colleagues is absolutely necessary and Teams makes that really convenient. Sending links, images, information and dates is very simple. Since we also work through committees, it's an essential tool for keeping communication and updates flowing properly across all the channels.

Cons

That recent update has been really frustrating. My Teams section seemed to disappear and suddenly I couldn't find my teams or channels. I have no idea why they've ended up under Chat.

Perfect for our team

Pros

Keeping in touch with my teammates is really convenient with Microsoft Teams. We can share files, use group chats to organize the team and even hold meetings, all within the same app which makes daily work much more practical.

Cons

Didn't run into any major issues with Microsoft Teams overall. The only trouble we experienced was that shared files were being added to SharePoint and a few times we ran into problems when the SharePoint storage was full.
