features are great

Pros

Right away, the interface felt very user-friendly and the broad set of features has helped make our meetings more efficient and productive.

Cons

A couple of things still concern me especially around privacy and security, along with the higher PC memory usage compared to other apps. Keeping my data protected and reducing potential security vulnerabilities is really important. I also want the application to run more efficiently without using too many system resources.

fantastic interface

Pros

This has been the most efficient tool I've used. It was very simple to learn, just as simple to use and I really love the user interface. Also, it comes with excellent features.

Cons

I've been using Microsoft Teams for several years now and it has continued to work well the whole time. I honestly haven't run into any issues with it.

steady worldwide meetings

Pros

Connecting with people in different parts of the world has been really helpful with this software. I use it regularly for interviews and meetings and it's a very effective way to communicate.

Cons

Every now and then, it freezes during a call. That may be due to internet problems or other technical issues but it does happen occasionally.

so good!

Pros

Keeping in touch with teammates and clients through Teams has been really smooth. It's become an essential part of how I run my business.

Cons

The tabs on the left-hand side didn't feel arranged in a way that really fit how I work though I realize that part is pretty subjective.

smart integrations

Pros

MS Teams has been really effective for workplace collaboration. Being able to schedule chats to send at a specific date and time is a very useful feature and the integration with tools like MS Planner and Viva Insights adds a lot of value. Channels are also practical to use and there's plenty of flexibility when it comes to adjusting settings like sounds, notifications and more.

Cons

At times, it can make the computer run quite slowly during screen sharing. Other than that, there really aren't many downsides to mention.

clear video calls

Pros

Managing team video calls and setting up work groups is really convenient with this platform. It's a very useful business tool that helps everyone stay connected.

Cons

Honestly don't have any complaints about it. It's simple for our team to use, even with more than 100 employees.

quick mentions

Pros

Joining meetings directly from the calendar is really convenient and having chats with different people all in one place keeps everything together. The @mentions are especially useful when I need someone to respond quickly.

Cons

Once there are too many chats and channels, it can start to feel confusing. Files are also difficult to locate again if they weren't pinned and the search feature doesn't always make that any easier.

organized teams

Pros

Teams has made our internal communication much more organized. It's generally easier to stay on top of things and avoid losing information across chat threads, voice meetings and shared notes.

Cons

Meeting recordings fail without any clear reason and only a few PRI recorders seem to know why. I'll assume the meeting is being recorded, press record and then realize later that no file was actually saved.

Meetings across devices

Pros

Microsoft Teams has become one of my favorite tools. The free version is available, it's simple to use and my organization relies on it for weekly meetings. Screen sharing works well and it offers plenty of useful audio options, video features and background settings. Another big plus is that it supports all kinds of devices.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any major complaints about Microsoft Teams. It's one of the best meeting apps I've used. The only small annoyance is that it sometimes starts automatically when I turn on my computer.

works smoothly

Pros

One of the best parts of Microsoft Teams is how well it connects with Microsoft 365. It works really well as a central place for communication, whether it's team chats, group messages for specific departments or video meetings and it's very simple to use.

Cons

At our company, we really haven't run into any actual problems with Microsoft Teams based on how we use it. I know some people mention occasional minor performance issues but that simply hasn't been our experience.

decent experience

Pros

It works fairly well for keeping coworkers connected especially in offices already using Microsoft products. The integration with other Microsoft tools is helpful and scheduling video calls or meetings is pretty convenient.

Cons

Con is that it seems to have replaced a lot of in-person interaction, with people relying on Teams for nearly everything. Some of my coworkers won't even answer a regular phone call and only want to connect through Teams which gets frustrating because the audio quality doesn't sound as clear.

Integrations save time

Pros

Being able to connect Microsoft Teams with other tools is a big advantage. It saves a lot of time and makes everything much more efficient.

Cons

Honestly don't have any negatives to mention about Microsoft Teams. I've been using it for more than 3 years and it has continued to work really well.

channels work well

Pros

Jumping into meetings is really quick, screen sharing only takes a tap and the group channels do a good job of keeping everyone organized and in the right place.

Cons

The downside is the constant stream of notifications can flood the side panel and it occasionally drops me from calls without any clear reason. Updates also move pretty slowly on older laptops.

Nice to use

Pros

Most of my work revolves around scheduling, whether it's with internal teams or outside guests and this has fit nicely into that process. Being able to pull attendees directly from Outlook and send everything over as a join link saves me from bouncing back and forth between different tools.

Cons

An issue I've run into is the audio drifting out of sync during video meetings. It tends to happen more during longer sessions or when several people are sharing content at the same time.

Pros

Certain channels can be connected to spreadsheets which makes it really useful for tracking and sharing all the data you need.

Cons

made teamwork easy

Pros

Setting up teams and channels is simple from an admin standpoint and the file sharing feature is a really useful addition within channels.

Cons

There are still problems with accounts and random errors and the support experience needs significant improvement since much of it is outsourced overseas.

sleek design

Pros

Working on shared assignments with a group was one of my favorite parts and staying in touch with teachers, supervisors and others felt really convenient. Being able to switch your activity status was also a nice touch. The interface looks polished and the platform offers a lot of useful functions in one place.

Cons

At times, getting around the platform felt a bit confusing especially when I was trying to locate specific groups or projects. I also ran into some lag during collaborative work, where updates from other people didn't always appear right away and I had to refresh the page to see the changes.

handy chat

Pros

Teams works really well for staying connected with coworkers since it lets us chat back and forth and also keeps files stored in one place which makes collaboration much more convenient.

Cons

Downside is that there are limits on the size or type of files you can send and you also need a Microsoft 365 subscription to access everything.

Pros

Being able to join meetings or connect with people anywhere there's internet is a huge plus. It really makes it possible to have meetings from just about anywhere.

all-in-one app

Pros

Having communication, file sharing and planning together in one place is really useful. The management side is fairly simple too so it doesn't take much effort to keep things organized.

Cons

The updates can feel a bit scattered, with lots of small changes that end up frustrating users once they roll out. A recent example is the change to how chats are organized which has been more annoying than helpful.
