Outlook sync is good

Pros

Meetings work well, it stays in sync with Outlook and it supports several levels and platforms for communication.

Cons

A few limitations can make it frustrating to use at times. File sharing is one example. If a file is shared in a group chat and someone gets added later, you have to resend that file directly to the new person or they will not be able to open it.

teamwork made easy

Pros

Working together on documents is really convenient and being able to update things as a group makes collaboration much better. Scheduling calls is also built in which helps keep everything organized.

Cons

One thing that gets annoying is the pop-up notifications in the bottom right. They can be easy to click by mistake and there have been times when I accidentally accepted a call while trying to scroll or click into another page or program.

fast communication

Pros

It's a really simple tool for communicating clearly with multiple people or groups all at once which makes staying in touch much more efficient.

Cons

The only thing I'd like to see improved is the search feature especially with more filtering options to narrow results better.

Easy to use

Pros

Really useful for staying in touch. Skype worked across all kinds of devices like computers, mobile phones and tablets and it was also a solid option for remote workers.

Cons

Biggest downside is that it was retired. Our company had relied on Skype for more than 15 years for internal communication. It was how we handled team messaging and simple file sharing so it was disappointing and sad to see it go.

handy meeting tools

Pros

Using emojis, the raise hand option, simple screen sharing and the chat during meetings all make Teams really useful.

Cons

honestly there isn't anything I dislike about Teams. It works really well and does exactly what I need it to do.

effortless collaboration across devices

Pros

Being able to use Teams across different devices, jump from one to another without much hassle and tie everything together with OneDrive file sharing has become a key part of how we stay organized and keep our daily workflow moving efficiently.

Cons

Audio and video quality can occasionally feel a bit less crisp or reliable compared with some other meeting platforms but it's not enough to cause major problems. Even with that, Teams still does a dependable job overall.

integrations are great

Pros

Working with colleagues is really convenient here, you can chat, share files, co-edit documents, set up meetings, share your screen and more. The integration with Microsoft Office is a real advantage. It also helps organize work better since Teams makes it easier to structure tasks and keep everything arranged clearly.

Cons

There are a lot of tools included, maybe even too many. The software is fairly simple to get started with but learning how to use and fully understand all of its features is a different story.

editing is easy

Pros

I can easily edit messages and use search and this is something I really appreciate. Naming chats and setting the chat picture with either an emoji or a photo is also a feature I really enjoy.

Cons

One thing I'd still like to see is better visual separation between chats. It would be really awesome to give individual chats different colors in the "recent" panel and on the actual chat screen too. That would help a lot since I sometimes message someone and then realize I was in the wrong chat because their name looked similar to someone else's.

smooth communication

Pros

Using it feels very simple and connecting and communicating with other users is simple and convenient.

Cons

Teams includes nearly everything you need but it still lacks an unsend button and could use better list management. Also, when the screen is minimized, you can't switch between the presenter and the shared screen.

responsive support

Pros

Getting started and managing everything in Microsoft Teams has been very simple. Also, the customer support team responds quickly whenever help is needed.

Cons

Works really well for me and I honestly do not have any negative feedback to share about Microsoft Teams.

packed with more features

Pros

It's extremely capable and comes with far more features than I expected.

Cons

Something I'm not a fan of is that some parts of the service are restricted to certain account types and setting it up across work and personal use can be a bit tricky.

simple setup

Pros

Teams has been dependable for video calls and features such as screen sharing, live captions and breakout rooms make meetings more inclusive and interactive. The persistent team channels and threaded conversations do a good job of keeping communication organised and easier to track especially when juggling multiple projects or different teams. It also connects smoothly with Word, Excel, OneNote and SharePoint which makes it especially useful for organisations already working within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Cons

I've noticed that it can use quite a lot of system resources particularly on lower-end devices.

my review

Pros

Usability is excellent and it works with a wide range of apps which makes it really convenient to use across different needs.

Cons

The number of overlapping Microsoft apps was a bit confusing. Tools like To Do, Tasks and Lists felt too similar and it wasn't always clear how to tell them apart.

works brilliantly

Pros

I really enjoy the instant chat. It's especially helpful being able to see when the other person has viewed the message which makes communication feel quicker and more direct.

Cons

Part I'm not a fan of is how often team members choose to share files through Teams. I'd rather receive those by email so I have something easier to refer back to later.

nice one

Pros

Talking with my team feels really simple and when a call needs to turn into video, I can switch over right away without any extra steps or awkward setup.

Cons

At times, it does not update correctly which can be confusing when I am trying to show whether I am available or not.

meeting docs right where needed

Pros

During meetings, getting to documents and sharing them is really convenient without digging through folders or old email threads. It keeps the conversation tied closely to the work we're actually doing.

Cons

Bigger group meetings tend to lag especially when a lot of people have their video turned on. Sometimes notifications also stay unread on one device even after they've already been checked on another.

excellent team chat

Pros

Having separate group chats is really useful and it also lets you message people across the organization, schedule meetings, make video calls and host meetings all in one place.

Cons

Messaging is limited to people within your company's network so you can't reach professionals or organizations outside of it.

all-in-one kinda app

Pros

Microsoft Teams gave us one central place for video meetings, chat and working together on shared documents so we didn't have to keep jumping between different apps.

Cons

Its notifications can become a little overwhelming when channels aren't organized well especially for a smaller team juggling several overlapping projects at the same time.

clean layout

Pros

The desktop and mobile apps have a clear overall layout that makes them simple to understand and use. The scheduling feature works reliably and does what I need it to do.

Cons

At times, the interface can feel a bit cluttered when notifications appear. There are also moments when pop-up alerts show up after the event has already ended.
