Excellent!

Pros

Being able to chat, hop on calls and edit documents with other people all in the same window is really convenient. It keeps everything together so there's a lot less jumping between apps and tabs during work.

Cons

Search feature still needs work. Trying to find a file can feel frustrating, like it vanished completely unless you already know the exact file name.

makes communication easy

Pros

It's a complete collaborative work solution and when it's paired with the Microsoft environment, it really becomes essential.

Cons

Biggest obstacle to rolling out this solution is the cost of Microsoft licensing needed to get the most out of the environment.

quite dependable

Pros

Teams works really well with Outlook and OneDrive which makes everything feel more connected during the workday. The video quality has been consistently solid and the team channels help keep conversations and projects organized.

Cons

There are times when the app takes a while to open and the interface can start to feel cluttered when you're part of too many teams. The number of alerts can also become overwhelming if you don't take time to manage the notifications.

works fine

Pros

Having integrated messaging between my smartphone and laptop was incredibly convenient. It handled message storage and organization really well and delivery was consistently reliable and accurate. I also appreciated being able to place calls to both landlines and mobile numbers without having to rely on a peer-to-peer connection.

Cons

The biggest disappointment is that after being acquired by Microsoft, the service was eventually shut down without any truly worthy replacement to take its place.

Smooth overall

Pros

Really helpful for connecting with specific people or teams and sharing information only with the right audience.

Cons

File sharing can be a bit inconsistent at times since access permissions on certain files can end up being either helpful or problematic depending on the situation.

nice overall

Pros

A standout communication platform that was ahead of its time in terms of features.

has great results

Pros

This feels like a really useful feature for workplaces especially now that so many teams are working in a hybrid setup.

Cons

One thing that could be better is making DND and OOO statuses more visible to other employees when someone is on them.

quick connection

Pros

Getting video conferences up and running is really simple and it's made staying in touch with people much more convenient than relying on email all the time.

Cons

The only downside I can really think of is that I've been dropped from conferences before although I'm pretty sure that was related to my Wi-Fi connection.

works across devices

Pros

Teams has a clean, user-friendly interface that makes everything simple to use. It runs quickly and is available across devices, including both PCs and smartphones. The mobile apps also perform really well and work flawlessly on pretty much any device.

Cons

Pricing is a big con, it feels a bit high. The app itself works extremely well and is very useful but it still comes across as somewhat expensive.

fast call connections

Pros

Getting in touch with coworkers is quick with Teams and it gives me a fast way to move between chats and different teams whenever I need to.

Cons

There are only a few occasions when it buffers for a bit, notifications won't clear right away and calls can sometimes feel slightly laggy.

So good

Pros

Back when I first started using Skype for work meetings, it was the first tool that really let me do video conferencing and that felt like a big step forward. At the time, it worked better than AOL and a lot of the other video chat programs that were available.

Cons

Even with that, Skype could be slow and the video or audio would sometimes get choppy. Now that there are other options like Teams, Slack and Zoom, it's no longer the platform I would choose first.

organized chats

Pros

It helps keep conversations organized by topic and dropping files into a chat or channel takes just one click. The pop-out meeting window is especially useful because it stays floating on screen so I can keep watching the slides while checking my notes at the same time.

Cons

There are still too many tabs and notification settings which can feel overwhelming to manage. It also needs a simpler way to make certain channels read-only and I'd really appreciate fewer pop-up alerts when people react with emojis.

affordable

Pros

Compared to the return it delivers, the price is very low which makes it a really worthwhile investment. Also, the support team is available 24/7 and consistently makes sure everything stays on track.

Cons

Everything has been running well for us and we have not run into any problems while using it with Microsoft Teams.

Good experience

Pros

Rolling this out to multiple team members was pretty simple and didn't take much effort. The setup and overall use are simple and clear which makes it practical for everyday work. It's also really useful being able to see who's online especially now that so much work happens remotely.

Cons

The drawbacks are fairly minor. It works with Outlook but the compatibility isn't completely flawless. Also, if the desktop app gets closed, notifications stop coming through which can be inconvenient.

productive meetings

Pros

Using it has been very simple. I can host meetings with several people at the same time and being able to view other people's calendars is really helpful. It has had a strong positive impact on my productivity because I can quickly connect with the people I need to talk to most.

Cons

I honestly do not have any real complaints. It works well for both me and the company I work for.

quick setup

Pros

Switching over from Skype to Teams was fairly simple and didn't take much effort to get used to. A few features stood out in a good way especially communities and there are definitely more tools and functions available here compared to Skype.

Cons

At the same time, quite a few options seem to be unavailable unless you're paying for the 365 version which is frustrating. Searching for things also tends to lag a lot and that makes the overall experience feel less responsive.

Great!

Pros

Having everything needed in one place makes it much easier to keep the team organized and managed effectively.

Cons

A recurring problem was calls dropping unexpectedly, even when the internet connection was strong. Also, team members would randomly get removed from groups so we were constantly adding them back.
