all teams in one place

Pros

Across manufacturing, sales, IT and other departments, it brings all internal communication into one place. The most useful features for me are the direct chat, the ability to attach files and the video calling option.

Cons

Something that would make it even better is a WhatsApp integration that could sync messages and calls from the app since that's still the mobile tool people use the most.

Simple interface

Pros

Right away, the interface feels adaptive and polished. It connects well with other tools and offers plenty of customization, from meeting controls to notification settings.

Cons

One part that needs work is the search in Teams. It often brings up irrelevant results and the search filters are not very effective either.

reliable desktop meetings

Pros

A solid desktop alternative to Zoom and the free plan has been especially useful since I haven't run into any meeting time limits.

Cons

It can be a bit buggy at times, the UX isn't very appealing and managing multiple accounts feels more complicated than it should.

flexible controls

Pros

Working with this has been really convenient because it connects nicely with other Microsoft 365 apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint which makes collaborating on documents much simpler.

Cons

Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. I have also run into performance problems, including slow loading times especially when working with large files.

handy collaboration

Pros

Something that really works well in Teams is how collaborative it feels. Multiple people can work on the same document right from the chat which makes coordination much easier. I also rely a lot on the status indicators because they quickly show whether someone is available, in a meeting, active or away. Another feature that really stood out to me is screen sharing with the option to take control of the shared screen. It saves a lot of time since I don't have to keep explaining steps in words and can just demonstrate it directly by controlling the other machine.

Cons

There are times when Teams doesn't show notifications properly while I'm using it. I can see that something is waiting on the taskbar but the actual pop-up alert doesn't always appear. I've also run into occasional issues when sharing files, where they show up as corrupted or I'm not given permission to edit them. That said, it's not a major problem for me because it only happens once in a while.

one-click meetings

Pros

Getting a virtual meeting started or scheduled takes just one click which makes the whole platform very simple to use. It saves a lot of time when hosting virtual meetings and product demos, while still giving that face-to-face interaction with people in different locations. File sharing is another strong point because my team and I can share and co-edit sales presentations, proposals and reports in real time. Screen sharing during demos and presentations keeps everything interactive, engaging and gives the meeting a more professional feel. It also supports HD video and includes background effects like blur or custom images. Also, the audio comes through clearly even without using a headset.

Cons

Video quality tends to change depending on the strength of the internet connection. To avoid lag and poor clarity, a strong and stable connection is really needed.

live collaboration anywhere

Pros

Being able to jump into face-to-face conversations from just about anywhere is really useful. The live collaboration tools and screen sharing also make it convenient to work with others in real time.

Cons

Video quality isn't the best when you compare it with some other options but considering the price, it feels fair for what you get.

so great

Pros

Having Microsoft Teams as a single hub has been the biggest advantage for me. It puts everything I need in one place, whether that's chatting with coworkers, running virtual client meetings, sharing sales decks or keeping track of tasks. I no longer have to jump between multiple apps or search through endless emails just to find something important. The real-time collaboration tools are another huge plus. My team can work together on proposals, presentations and marketing materials at the same time which saves a lot of time, cuts down on back-and-forth and helps everyone stay aligned during busy campaigns or sales pushes. Another thing I really appreciate is how well it supports working on the go. If I'm traveling, at a client location or working remotely, I can still reply to messages quickly, join meetings and pull up important files right from my phone.

Cons

Don't have any complaints about Microsoft Teams. The functionality is exactly where it should be, the performance runs well and it makes collaboration feel effortless. It's one of those tools that truly does what it says it will do.

solid microsoft 365 fit

Pros

What works really well is how closely it connects with Microsoft 365 especially Word, Excel and Outlook. Setting up channels for different teams is simple which helps keep communication organized. Video meetings and screen sharing have also been dependable whenever we need them.

Cons

The interface feels a bit dated and at times it can be overwhelming without adapting well to different workflows. Notifications also tend to be inconsistent so some updates can get missed. Also, integrations outside the Microsoft ecosystem are fairly limited.

all-in-one app

Pros

Best things about Microsoft Teams is how well everything works together at the same time. Being able to stay on a video call while still seeing messages come through from other chats I'm part of is something I really enjoy.

Cons

An issue I have with Microsoft Teams is that the audio quality during voice or video calls can sometimes be inconsistent and go up and down.

a bit confusing

Pros

When everything is working the way it should, it's a really helpful tool for collaborating with coworkers.

Cons

There are just too many bugs and Microsoft has put out so many different versions that some work and some don't which makes it hard to know which one you're supposed to use. On top of that some features now require extra payment.

The online meeting feature delivers high-quality visuals and crystal-clear audio so conversations during meetings feel very smooth. File sharing has also been excellent making it simple to exchange documents while working on projects. Also, the advanced security features give us confidence that our project data is protected and handled in a safe environment.

i rely on it

Pros

So between messaging, meetings and document sharing, Microsoft Teams has been a really strong fit for our workflow. The chat feature lets us communicate instantly with underwriters, processors, realtors and clients which makes it simple to share loan status updates or document requirements in real time, even during meetings, without disrupting the presentation. It also makes scheduling, hosting and joining virtual meetings with clients very convenient so we can walk through loan applications and review details in just a few clicks. Also, the HD video and audio quality, screen sharing and recording tools help our meetings run very well. We're also able to upload important loan documents, share them quickly and collaborate on them in real time which helps us update and review files faster with team members or clients and cuts down delays in the application process. Another big advantage is the end-to-end encryption and enterprise-level security which helps protect sensitive information, secure meetings and support compliance with financial industry regulations.

Cons

Support has been consistently friendly and dependable whenever we've needed help. honestly we haven't run into any major issues with Microsoft Teams.

amazing integrations

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how well this communication software connects with other tools. It works nicely with PowerPoint, Excel, file sharing, OneDrive cloud storage, conference calls and similar features which makes day-to-day collaboration much more convenient.

Cons

What bothers me is that I can't save Teams chats as shareable evidence the way I can with emails. Because of that, I have to rely on screenshots and that feels a bit unprofessional.
