all-in-one team dashboard

Pros

Having the team app with everything integrated into a single dashboard has been really helpful. It's convenient to access all the apps in one place instead of switching between different tools.

Cons

The video call layout isn't my favorite. When I compare it with other platforms like Zoom, it feels less user-friendly.

nice fit

Pros

Getting around it is simple and it works well with all the other software we rely on. It also helps that most of the firms we work with are already using it too.

Cons

Adding external members to Teams can be a bit frustrating at times especially when they don't already have a Microsoft account.

excellent value with microsoft suite

Pros

One of the biggest advantages of Teams is the pricing. Getting it included with the Microsoft Suite makes it a really worthwhile option.

Cons

Considering the cost, it does a solid job overall. The only downside is that there are restrictions on how many people can join video calls.

teams covers almost everything

Pros

Between calling, calls in Teams, text messaging and Team meetings, it pretty much includes every feature I need and does a lot in one place.

Cons

Price feels quite high especially for personal or private use. Businesses can usually absorb the cost more easily but it's a different story for individuals and home users.

clear meeting recordings

Pros

Teams makes collaboration calls much more convenient. You can chat during the conversation, record meetings and then access those recordings across your devices whenever you need them.

Cons

One thing that needs improvement is privacy during calls. Teams still shows notifications while you're sharing your screen, even if those alerts are from the same team or workplace.

easy to use

Pros

Having unified communication in one place has really improved collaboration across the team.

Cons

Con is that it still depends on a third-party integration with Microsoft 365.

natural fit with microsoft apps

Pros

It fits really well with Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint and the rest of the Microsoft ecosystem. Being able to open and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint files directly inside the app is especially convenient and makes everyday work feel more connected.

Cons

Can get a bit overwhelming how notification-heavy it is, with reminders coming through quite often.

so good

Pros

Over the past year, Microsoft Teams has been a big part of how I handle remote work and online meetings at my company and it has really improved the way our team works together. The feature I rely on most is how well it connects with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook and OneDrive. It makes scheduling meetings, sharing files right away and collaborating on documents in real time much more convenient. The video and audio quality during Teams calls has also been really strong.

Cons

The free version works well for smaller teams but the paid plans are fairly expensive for startups. That said, if a company is already using Office 365, then Teams fits in perfectly.

It's just great

Pros

Teams really covers a lot in one place. It makes collaborating, communicating, sharing documents and working on different projects with the team in real time very convenient, without having to jump between multiple platforms. Its integration with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem also works very well making document sharing and collaboration smooth while helping me stay focused in a single workspace.

Cons

I use it every day for meetings, communication, team collaboration and project work and at this point I honestly haven't come across any major drawbacks.

user-friendly app

Pros

What I appreciate most about TEAMS is how user-friendly it is. Everything feels simple to use which makes working and communicating with others much more convenient.

Cons

Part I like least about TEAMS is that it tends to crash whenever an update is needed which can be frustrating when I'm trying to use it.

Keeps everything connected

Pros

It is useful for just about everything and I use it every day. Having the calendar sync with my Outlook calendar is especially helpful.

Cons

Nothing to mention here, I've had no issues with Teams and don't see anything that needs improvement.

outlook calendar integration is excellent

confusing access

Pros

I like the extra functionality it comes with and that it has a professional appearance.

Cons

Just getting into it felt outdated and frustrating. When I used a work account or university account, it seemed to get confused over something as simple as opening a meeting.

live connectivity is good

Pros

Constant connectivity has been the biggest benefit for us. My team has to log data for individual products throughout the manufacturing process and that information gets entered at several different stations into a live database. Because everything updates in real time, I can see exactly what they're doing as it happens and step in right away with corrections or send messages instantly when needed.

Cons

A downside is that the online versions of Microsoft programs still don't include the full set of features. When I need to make certain additions that require full functionality, I have to open the file on my desktop version instead.

solid for collaboration

Pros

Now this is part of our daily work at the institution and it has been reliable when it comes to collaboration and staying connected with the team.

Cons

Over time though, it has become pretty heavy. It tends to freeze and really pushes my laptop hard especially when starting a video call. It's also getting more complicated and there's something about the interface that makes it less user-friendly particularly for some of my older colleagues.

Perfect for us

Pros

Starting the day with this has been really useful because it lets me work closely with my team and have morning meetings where we can go over our plans together.

Cons

Every now and then, after integrating it with Microsoft Teams, I run into a few issues but nothing too serious overall.
