video work brilliantly

Pros

The chat tools in Teams have been really useful and the video call settings and features are just as helpful. Being able to schedule it directly on the calendar is a big plus. It's also very convenient for sending files and pictures which are usually needed for work.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints at this point. Everything has been working well for me and all of the features fit what I need.

So nice

Pros

Everything is in one place which makes it really convenient. I can message one person or a whole group and all of those conversations stay together. It also makes finding documents quick since they're all easily accessible.

Cons

Working on documents directly in Teams can be a bit frustrating. It usually works better to download the files first and edit them that way.

Teams has been excellent for staying connected with coworkers especially while working remotely. It's simple to use and since it's so widely used, getting help when needed is simple too.

Cons

Haven't run into any issues with it. It has consistently worked well and done everything I needed it to do.

Focused chats

Pros

So good! Having Copilot built into video meetings has been really useful because it pulls together meeting summaries and recaps without extra effort. The chat channels are also a big plus since they keep discussions organized and help conversations stay on the right topic.

Cons

One downside is that it depends quite a bit on other Microsoft tools when it comes to integrations.

excellent messaging

Pros

Communication and video meetings work really well with this product. The instant messaging feature is especially strong and feels much better than what I've used in competing apps like Zoom.

best option

Pros

Using TEAMS as a collaboration tool has been really valuable. It lets multiple users work on the same files at the same time which makes teamwork much more efficient.

Cons

Interface could use a bit of improvement. Once a lot of groups have been created, it becomes harder to quickly find the specific ones you need.

works really well

Pros

One thing that really works well is how Teams connects with my Microsoft 365 setup. Having everything tied together in one place makes it much more convenient to use.

Cons

Getting signed in can be frustrating because there are too many pop-ups to click through. It's also inconvenient that I can't properly read the chat while I'm presenting.

Quite reliable

Pros

This web conferencing tool keeps things simple and works quite well overall. Lag is fairly minimal and it covers all the essentials I need, including chat, video recording and screen sharing.

Cons

Using it on a mobile device feels less convenient than Google Conferencing or Zoom. The AI note-taking features also are not as strong as I expected.

great app

Pros

Keeping everyone aligned has been much simpler with Microsoft Teams because the communication tools are well organized and make sharing information feel effortless. The interface is flexible and user-friendly so everyone on the team can quickly get to the features they need and actually use them without trouble. Another big plus is the reporting side which gives detailed and insightful reports that help us understand how we're collaborating and where we can improve even more.

Cons

Up to this point, Microsoft Teams has worked really well for us without any notable issues. Also, the support team has been responsive and very helpful whenever we've needed assistance.

teamwork made easy

Pros

The best things about Microsoft Teams is how it brings collaboration into a single place. Being able to connect it with other Microsoft tools like Word, Excel and SharePoint makes working together on documents feel smooth and much more efficient.

Cons

Getting started with Microsoft Teams can take a bit of time. Since the platform includes so many features in one interface, it can feel overwhelming at first and takes some effort to get comfortable with it.

feels a little dated

Pros

Skype doesn't cost anything to use which is still a plus. It also includes some newer-style features, such as screen sharing and translation.

Cons

At the same time, it lacks more advanced functionality and feels outdated when you compare it with newer options like Teams and Zoom.

fantastic for virtual teamwork

Pros

Microsoft Teams makes meeting with and staying in touch with coworkers in a virtual setting really simple. It also works well for holding meetings with people from other organizations which is a big plus.

Cons

Sometimes, group chats that don't directly involve me can get a bit distracting and some people don't always realize when a conversation would be better handled privately. Since notifications can be turned off though, it's not a big problem overall.
